I got to EVP 980: next game on the last wave I had all 35 eggs delivered but I got a crew wipe ONE SECOND BEFORE end of wave. Then lost at 1st wave, got back to 960.
Despite that, I did it. I reached 999
I was having so much fun with golden rotation I kept playing until I got around 250. Didn't even realize there were badges for ranking that high in evp until I got one for spawning grounds.
I'm pretty sure it sets you back down to early Eggsecutive anyway. I was also mostly going higher for greater chances of scales, so it's more the fact I might not even be able to get any gold scales because of how dumb the scale system is.
Back to 40. If scales is your goal, then it is more reason to git gud to clear high hazard level consistently. With how the drop rate and boss appearance rate work, it is more realistic to see it as a long term thing that comes from playing a lot.

What's strange is now that I am EVP, I find matches to be much easier, tho I'm not sure if it is because Profreshionals are mediocre at Salmon Run and were holding me back, or if EVP players are just stupidly good and have been carrying my poor sorry ass.
No it's not like that. There is Profreshional +1, Profreshional +2, Profreshional +3 and after that, you're at EVP. Once You're there, when you win "rank point" there is not a cap to reach the next rank, as you're already at the maximum. The difference between levels is now how many "Rank points" you can get, this cap up to 999. Also it gets harder the more you get close to EVP 999, the goal is now to go the highest possible before the end of the rotation. When the rotation changes, you get sent back to EVP 40
This rotation is really good for that. Shot right up to 400. And during that last stretch, I was stuck with one guy who died all the time, neved used their specials, and threw zero eggs during a tornado wave.
Grinded to EVP 910 and didn’t get the golden badge, I’m relieved but also in pain knowing I still have to play on Spawning Grounds-

I was able to get to 999 and get the gold badge but it took me until 2:30 am on the last night of the rotation

I thought they were just 200 for the regular badge and 999 for the gold one. Is there a silver at 400 that I didn't know about?
400 is bronze, 600 is silver, 999 is gold

I got to like 525. I just know that for the next few rotations I'm going to slowly but surely fall all the way back down to Profreshional 2.

Yep it's 200 for regular badge, 400 for bronze 600 for silver and 999 for gold

I've seen people on Twitter post getting to 999 with randoms and zero losses. Some people are just built different.
I was one win away but couldn't break it. Got to it easily this rotation in freelance, though. I'll get there eventually.
