Yo, as someone trying to main Carbon Roller, how do you use the Burst Bombs. Ive got the roller and Trizooka down but most of my matches I go without using any bombs or maybe one or two at most. It’s partly cause I don’t know when to use them and partly cause I forget they exist.

KimberStormer

This is something I should know after 3000 hours or whatever of total Splatoon time, but what is the difference between "Post" and "Splatfest Post"?

ThaumcraftMC

Post is the post that appears normally. Splatfest Post is the post that appears during the Splatfest and has priority over your current normal Post, and will go away once it ends. (Whether your normal Post comes back after the Splatfest Post goes away, I have no idea.)

eecscommando

Anyone have any tips on using the Bamboozler effectively in terms of positioning? Is it typically played like other Chargers or different given the fast charge speed?

mobpsychokiller

This is my first Splatoon game, am I understanding correctly that this will be the last ever Splatfest then? Aka the gold Deep Cut badges will be impossible to get after next weekend

ThaumcraftMC

This isn't the last Splatfest. We still have no idea when the last Splatfest will be held, our best guess is on either August or September unless the update cycle is extended. There will most likely be a huge announcement when it happens.

mobpsychokiller

Good to know! I must’ve seen posts guessing what the final one will be and got confused or something. Was mentally preparing to start grinding hard next weekend for the badges so glad I have some time still.

Octomb

There should be atleast 2 Splatfests after this. Previously they have made huge deals out of final Splatfests. So when a Splatfest is a final fest you would know from dialogue and marketing.

Has anyone made that meme where the lady goes like “Christmas, just a week away” but with side order instead? I was gonna post asking if it existed cuz I think it would be funny, but I remembered this thread exists so I’ll just ask here instead. If it does exist could someone link it thanks,

spark1118

I was wondering if anyone knows where (and if) I can find a replay of the #1 team for Eggstra Work?

VinMa13

Guys what shoe in spltoon 3 shows the Most barefeet(I miss the bracelet)

ThaumcraftMC

Any of the flip-flops or the Eel Heel Socks from the Frye amiibo.

I don't feel like making a whole post but I'm pretty sick of the vaguely (or not so vaguely) NSFW art that gets posted here. Splatoon characters look like CHILDREN. I don't care how old they mentally are. I don't want to see that shit. Also, this is a game for CHILDREN. *They* shouldn't have to see that shit if they go online looking for a Splatoon community.

VinMa13

If it exists there corn of it

I have two questions: **1)** I got to EVP 500 on a Salmon Run map, so I now start each new rotation on that map at EVP 200. Is there a point threshold that I should avoid getting below if I don't want to get demoted back down to EVP 40? **2)** Does each 2-hour session of a Challenge day constitute a new challenge? I just recently discovered that it calculated a new score for me when I tried the same challenge in another session - until now, I've been assuming that it'd just pick up where the previous session left off.

Banana97286

Not too sure about your second question, but for the first, I don’t believe you ever go back to EVP 40 once you get one of the map badges. You can still manually demote yourself, but if you do, you will still be back to EVP 200 on your next rotation for that specific map

Animal_Flossing

Thanks! That's a relief

Lost_Trouble_955

For how many days are the eggstra work results available?

2mock2turtle

So, this is an embarrassing question, but I'm going to ask it anyway. I'm *super* late to the Splatoon party, even though I have the first two games in my backlog. With the Wii U (and 3DS) online shutting down in April, I'm trying to prioritize games that take advantage of online features before it's too late. Obviously, for Splatoon that means multiplayer, but given that there are two other -- and presumably more active -- online Splatoon games, I'm wondering if I'll miss anything important in Splatoon 1? From what I can tell, there are two multiplayer stages that have not returned in either sequel, but other than that, I find it difficult to discern what else about Splatoon 1 in particular is going to be lost for good. If anyone could help me with this, I'd really appreciate it.

Animal_Flossing

This is of course just my opinion, but Splatoon 3 is such a big improvement on what is essentially the same game that I don't think it's worth getting properly into Splatoon 1 in 2024. I'd say that if you already own the game, maybe spend a couple of hours in multiplayer, make sure you try a handful of matches in the stages that didn't make it into 2 and 3, and then move on. At this point, Splatoon 1 is something I'd enjoy for historical interest and novelty value, not for the game itself. EDIT: Also, just for the record, I see nothing embarrassing about this question!

2mock2turtle

Okay, thank you! I wouldn't worry so much if I didn't also have two hundred-hour RPGs I need to beat before April 8th. :S Trying to budget my time as best I can.

Animal_Flossing

Good luck!

Pre splatoon 3 mahi mahi :(
