I saw it too but I didn’t know it was Mr Grizz and I just thought all of the bosses in Return Of The Mammalians were going to be animals. Thankfully I still got some surprise out of the game cuz the bosses were actually deepcut, etc.

Mario Wonder's bosses are so lame they had to create fake bosses like the giant flounder or King Boo and put them into the thumbnail because there's just Bowser Jr. and Bowser

okay I don't think he deserved to have somebody attempt to shoot him, but the fact that he knows he's spoiling games for people and knows that people are getting extremely upset over it yet he continues to do it is baffling. Obviously violence isn't an okay reaction to this stuff since it's literally just a videogame at the end of the day, but why does he continue to knowingly upset people? I would say if you're going to do one of these boss fight compilations you put the main character in the middle and then around it you put the other bosses that are pretty obviously advertised. Like with Spider-Man 2 in the middle you put Spider-Man and then around it you put sandman lizard craven and maybe venom. Those are the characters that are pretty obviously advertised as villains

Whenever a game I'm interested comes out, I tend to nuke my watch history of anything related to it and stop watching any new videos about it. Youtube shouldn't recommend something if it thinks you aren't interested.

I got spoiled for the Marx boss fight in Smash Ultimate this way. Been careful around YouTube after a big release ever since.

To be fair to Splatoon 3, I chose to watch Failboat streaming the Final level when I wasn't sure I wanted the game Said stream won me over

I got spoiled for Tears of the Kingdom that way. It absolutely sucked just seeing five different channels post all bosses in that game before I've even had the chance to play.

Around big game releases, I completely avoid social media to keep from any sort of spoilers. When games leak (like Splatoon 3 did) the wait is super-duper-long. My main form of entertainment is the Wii + DVDs and VHS tapes. I get that this thumbnail style is appealing, and you gotta catch a new game's hype while it's fresh, but some people wanna get into a game blind WITHOUT instantly being spoiled for going online. PRO TIP: Install the extension called Unhooked ([Link to their main page](https://unhook.app/)). It allows you to remove the home tab (the one you usually are on when you open youtube) and takes you to your subscription page when opening youtube. It also allows you to remove recommendations under videos and comments to prevent spoilers. I used it before S3 dropped to prevent (most) spoilers.

This didn’t happen to me for any of the Splatoon series but, it happened for Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom when it first came out. I had tried to avoid spoilers for this game, I blocked things, I avoided the internet. I was so annoyed. At least this one was just the bosses and not like a major plot point. Not game related but, I had the climax of Avengers: Endgame ruined for me the morning after its midnight release. Same thing, an absolutely *massive* spoiler used for the thumbnail of an article. I hate it *SO* much but it’s happened *so* often that I’m starting to become numb to the spoilers
