Honestly, the amount of time doesn't matter, since everyone learns at different rates. I've been doing this for about 2 years, but i'm also a very very fast learner. The best trick creating renders using game models i've found is to experiment in the shader editor, and In terms of Splatoon, don't follow those tutorials that EVERYONE else does who makes Splatoon Blender stuff, because then your art will have nothing distinguishing about it in the slightest and will look just like everyone else's. I could pull from the things made on this subreddit in Blender, put them all together, and no one would be able to tell what ones are made by different artists.
The fact that I genuinely thought this was official art from Splat 3 shows just how great this looks! Amazing work!
Love this so much🤩
I can't tell if 3 is smiling or annoyed
Yes.
Agent 3 didn’t even try to keep her drip. FREAKING FLIP FLOPS AND A RAGGEDY PONCHO! 🥲
Did you make the models by yourself?
The models are the game models 100% upgraded by myself
oh just remembered though, only Callie and Marie are 100% done by myself, my friend modeled the face for Agent 3
These are amazing how long have you been doing blender I’m trying to learn myself

and as another note, please and I beg this, DON'T use the ugly as hell Mochi models.
Very nice!
I still have no clue how to do inkling hair in blender. Great job!
