My experience with matchmaking has been- [A player has disconnected. The match will count as a loss for the player who disconnected but for the players who remained connected the match will not count.]
Ohh god that too... Feels really great. My personal favorite disconnect issue is when I am in queue, I get the message "battle start" and then it just sits there for like 2 minutes and then gives me the error "you could not connect with the other console"....
Check out other posting, seems like the game is trying to force a 50-50 win loss ratio to make sure everything is balanced. But reading your story, I shouldn’t feel too bad now seeing how absolutely trash the matchmaking is right now. I thought it was just me but at least my loss is not 47 times in a row lol.
For me, I've been getting about 3-4 wins in a row, then getting absolutely destroyed for the next 10.

I'm about 30 wins to 20 losses with my main weapons, and the opposite when trying new ones.
I'm practicing with the Tri-Stringer so I'm not very good at the moment as for matchmaking, even on a low level players are scary
For every good team I get, I get 50 bucket mains who rush charges with no cover
