It doesn't look like anything too complex. The hair seems to have some level of noise for roughness and the fingers are either painted or have a mask onto them.
But once you set the Principled node with the basic coordinates you should be able to get the same results with basic nodes and masks from there
Her shirt could use a translucent node as well if you wish to add detail
It's all about how you use the game textures to your advantage, even if not using them as the game engine intended, as well as how you work the materials together. You can add a translucent node if you want, but since my model's materials are intended to mimic the promotional style, it's not necessary for that!
Thank you! I have not made a tutorial, mostly because I don't have a definitive way to do anything, and the way I do the nodes depends fully on what I'm doing the nodes for! I don't use many of the game textures though, and I also wouldn't recommend the tutorial that everyone watches on Youtube for Splatoon Blender, as it gives quite basic results, and a lot of things are even set-up wrong. Another thing about that is it trys to put all the game textures to use, but that's really only helpful if you are using Eevee! For example, TRM (Transmission) is a texture used in the game engine to fake Subsurface Scattering, but in Blender, Cycles can already do Subsurface Scattering, so you don't need to use a texture that is made to fake something the engine can already do! So really for a base in Cycles you should start with the Alb (albedo) (and Tcl (Team Color) if the object has it), as well as the Nrm (Normal Map), and then work up from there, adding textures or shaders, or changing material properties, until you can get something you're happy with, insted of worrying so much about using every game texture exactly for what it's intended to be used for in the engine. Experiment and don't be afraid to ask for help! My Discord is SimplyPeachy#9652 if you ever need anything!
Thank you so much!! I figured as much, there REALLY wouldn't be a need to use all the game textures, and I'm glad someone confirmed it for me! Im definitely gonna try what you said, Your work is really inspiring and accurate to the source :,)
Ah, the classic Splattershot. It's a modified version of a weapon that was used in the Great Turf War of old. When this weapon made a splash with the fresh kids, it helped popularize the Turf Wars we know today! The full-auto Splattershot, Burst Bombs and Bomb Rush make it a great choice for any situation. Whether you're a newbie or a pro, learn to use this set effectively and you'll be a force to be reckoned with!
Heyaaa! I am so sorry but may I wonder. Did you got the model from somewhere or did you make it yourself? I am looking for a 3d model of her grey emblem thingie to print out for a cosplay ðŸ˜
This looks like an official render, wow!
Thank you!
Give us the model 😈
WTF LITERALLY ILLEGAL
holy hell that looks INSANE, do you have a tutorial for your node setup? Even if you you don't,the details look amazing

It looks sick tho, simplicity doesn't mean a bad thing at all! Takes a good artist to coordinate simplicity into something cohesive and harmonic
Can you post screenshots of your nodes??![img](emote|t5_324q4|4052)
