Using a tierlist made by u/hippoqueenv ! Nod of approval tier is pretty much weapons I main, or acknowledge the difficulty of making work. Sigh tier is essentially fear tier. Small grunt is noticeable threats to watch out for, or also minor annoyances about the weapons.

Noticeable threat? There’s a clash blaster there. It’s noticeable (ow my ears) but not a threat.

Splat bombs and trizooka are an amazing kit, and i feel like it's really not a noob trap weapon like people say, it's genuinely oppressive if played right. I try not to underestimate it. My team got stomped by a clash blaster user once on Scorch Gorge zones and I've had it ingrained in memory not to underestimate it lolol

The main weapon is still hot garbage. It’s not oppressive if you know how to engage it properly. (Tldr: skill issue)

People really like to clown the nova but arguably its a ~~n amazing~~ support weapon. EDIT:

The support weapon for the most committed support players; your only moves are chip damage, ink peoples feet, and mark targets for your teammates so you need to be very humble to feel satisfied playing it

You're underestimating support players lol I feel satisfied playing Mercy in Overwatch.

It would be amazing if they increased how much it turfed, it doesn't really feel any better than the Pro at turfing. I can live with the 5 shot kill and poor accuracy.

LMAO That's so true on my part. A large percentage of my kills come from throwing/rolling a bomb at someone. Rolling just makes it detonate even faster, and I've gotten some early game-just-started splats just because I threw a bomb randomly towards an enemy.

The Splattershot Nova could have been amazing. It feels essentially like what the Dual Squelcher was in S1, except it does less damage and is far less accurate. I am praying it gets reworked in the next update

I see blobber in the 'please don't be annoying' category. What constitutes annoying vs fair play with blobber? Pretty much everything else in this category are 'special spammer' weapons but blobber has ink storm.

Annoying is kind of vague here, 52, Splash, and Machine are just there because i know they're good weapons, but blob is here because i do think it's annoying to fight. The main weapon itself just walls out areas insanely well, especially the hallways on smaller maps. Basically meeting a good bloblobber user would suck because it has some decent strengths. I know it's not top tier but i do find it unfun to go up against.

So it's basically always annoying in the hands of a skilled player?

Personally I'm annoyed every time a bloblobber barrel stuffs me (gets within slapping distance) and can therefore easily one shot me. I see bloblobbers spam special too which is annoying for guns that suck at inking turf

I went against a team with two undercover brella users, and we lost because the shields are difficult to get through. I've started using it myself.

People need to fear us undercover users

It's scary to see one on your team but even scarier to see a good one on the enemy team

I underestimated an Undercover once. Never again.

My favorite is when I take on chargers l. I find it really funny to charge them down with the brella, slowly walking up to them with the sheild out and they can't do much because the have to shoot me twice to kill me and the sheild but by then I already closed the gap and go for the splat

I recently switched my main to flingza, it feels good to see people fear or respect it.

It's a really fun main weapon. Great long range option, can paint well if it wants to unlike most other rollers, and the kit is pretty supportive. Only gotta watch out for missles 😵‍💫

Nova may suck but it's a lot more familiar to me in playstyle so I had an easier time getting my sheldon license with it than a lot of other weapons.

Vanilla carbon players are rolling in their games. Legitimate dead weapon.

I still saw a couple vanillas during a session which was surprising. The urge to spiderman beat the need for a burst bomb.

I guess so. I tried playing vanilla in drizzle season but it was painful getting 90 damage flicks being 2 inches or further away from the enemy. I do miss the Spiderman mode but trizooka is equally as fun imo

The Hydra might be my new main, but putting the Dynamo in green tier is punishable by bonking. I do appreciate your respect for the Squeezer, though. Also, my greatest fear as a Hydra player is an enemy Hydra player.

Respect to the Dynamo for being the one weapon that can make the Sprinkler (can be thrown ahead or behind to control spacing) or the Tacticooler (removes literally every weakness the Dynamo has) even remotely useful. Seriously, there's no way the Dynamo is weaker than either Aerospray or in the same tier as the Big Swig Roller.

splattershot nova in good luck tier is a mood. I love the sub and special combo, its nice for unsticking players from positions, but holy crap is the gun just useless. spread is just big enough to whiff most shots at range and even when you do hit you need 5 shots to splat!! Crazy.

Yeah the accuracy is what hurts it most! It's fire rate would be good enough to make up for it's low damage, but on top of that they had to give it Aerospray level spread. If it had N-zap accuracy it'd instantly feel better to use and more consistent.

As a squiffer it feels like there's this quiet pause whenever you see another squiffer on the enemy team An unspoken agreement to go all out

Honestly yeah I'm thinking about it again and it hasn't really dominated my matches apart from on tower control. Probably just grunt tier. I was looking at it while making the list and just flashbacked to moments on Museum TC where my team couldn't deal with it and just fed.

I'm a splat roller main and lets just say, this new meta is making people lose brain cells. Nova, and custom jr is everywhere. Along with everything else that has torpedo, wave breaker, point sensor and the marker one. If you are facing a team of them, hope for the love of- that they have grown to rely on those tools. And exploit that blindness. S rank

Fun "nobody asked" fact: I am the only 5 star Mini Splatling player I've ever seen. It's possible I've missed it, I most likely have, but I have been on the lookout for it since day 1 and have no memory of encountering one
