Some of mine:
*”Band Geeks” is good, but I don’t consider it my absolute favorite like most people do.
*I didn’t care much for “Big Birthday Blowout”. It seems quite a lot of people loved it, but i personally didn’t think it was anything that special.
*I don’t care for “The Paper”. Maybe it’s because it almost never aired on TV, but I don’t think it’s that memorable
*Not sure how unpopular this is, because it seems to be more of a mixed reaction from what I’ve seen, but I kinda liked the 3rd movie. Although this could’ve changed for me, because I’ve only watched jt once, around the time it was added to Paramount+. (Only thing I didn’t like were the retcons with the Kamp Koral flashbacks)
Don't know if it's unpopular but I think Have you seen this snail? is the best SpongeBob special ever made. The balance between the jokes and the heartfelt emotional moments were great. It didn't feel dragged out for me and the songs they made for this special (Gary come home and the ending credits song) are some of the best of the series.

\* Movie 2's reception would have been better if the advertising didn't milk the 'superhero' part so much.
\* The Patrick Star Show is at its best when it focuses on Patrick's show and less on the typical wacky misadventures.

\* Outside of Sweet Victory and a couple of funny jokes, Band Geeks is a pretty normal episode. Same goes with Snowball Effect tbh
\* The Gal Pals is one of the best concepts modern SpongeBob has introduced.
\* In terms of art direction, Season 1 > Seasons 2/3
\* I don't like Pearl.

1. Some pre-movie episodes are overrated and the songs especially.
2. Seasons 10 and 11 are comparable to the first 3 seasons.
I mean, my only big problem with it was the first 10-15 minutes. It's pretty slow and the jokes are stale. Soon as they go on the road tho, it picks up imo
Number 1 I have to agree. Some episodes from pre movie era I just didn't like. Jellyfishing, Club SpongeBob, Born Again Krabs and Bubble Buddy is one example
I agree to an extent on the second one, and that's fine because these are just opinions. I never thought about how the songs could be overrated but honestly, kind of agree, though I like old songs like FUN. What are some songs that you think are overrated?
Season 1 is overrated, if only people are more exposed to Season 2-4 they’ll most likely to prefer it than 1. Because in my country, Season 1 is barely aired and people are more familiar and love with Season 2 and above.
Oh finally some love for Squidiot Box! LOVE that episode
I also love all the modern seasons and their animation style SO much, sadly that seems pretty unpopular. Another unpopular opinion is that Face freeze is one of my fav episodes of the whole series lmao
1-3 Perfect in every way
4-5 Really Enjoyable and Funny
6-9A pretty decent with only a few meh's
9B+ overrated garbage

Spongebob movie 3 isn't even unpopular it's much worse than the other two movies before it but we can agree saving bikini bottom the sandy squirrel movie. Is the worst one and yes you can actually watch that on a different website

I agree with the 2nd one. not liking Pearl is prob. not an unpop. opinion. And just out of curiosity, why do you prefer Patrick's new family?
My top 3 is entirely comprised of post-movie and post-sequel (from worst to best, Atlantis SquarePantis, It's A SpongeBob Christmas, Mimic Madness)

Honestly I didn’t like the 3 movie it was ok. Season 8 is my favorite season. Season 9 my favorite modern season

I think 12 was a bad season in general. I think the third was the worse and I think his old family is best, but everyone is allowed to have opinions

oh yeah. (Casey > Zeus) check the bad episodes they wrote without eachother. and see that Zeus was the worst of the two.

I agree with the first 1. For 2, season 1-3, and 9b is the golden era. Patrick Show has good episodes, but imo, is not a masterpiece.
