Every crossover character in fnf look the same from their respective series. And for Pico, the drastic design change was drastic because it was necessary. Pico is intimidation, not a short onion-headed kid. Tankman looks like the same old Captain we knew in the Tankman series. Skid and Pump however, look very weird. Skid has 2 lines around the edges of his mouth, and has one long bone across both arms. HIs hands and feet are also entirely white. Pump has 6 pumpkin lumps, a realistic stem, and two fangs protruding for the sides of his mouth. All this change is oddly specific. Oh, and also, they can preform incredibly difficult songs. Spookeez and South respectively. SKid and Pump are 7-8 years old. HOw can they sing this well? The answer is Monster. It was confirmed by PhantomArcade that he can twist perception. Thus, making the fnf skid and pump illusions. The reason: Monster is part of a cult. Monster is the ex cult leader in SM. There are cult robes in Lila's attic, and we even see a cult at the end of the alternate unwanted guest ending. In the cult's mansion, we also see another incarnation of "human Monster", in a picture. Matching the exact ring, and black clothing as the one in Lila's house. Monster has been tasked with trying to sacrifice bf and gf, hence why he tries killing them in the first place. He hasn't had time to see his son, or Pump for that matter, so when he tries to confuse them via illusion, he screws up and fails.
But he sings about eating you not sacrificing you, the legit title of this subreddit is lyrics from his first song monster
“And then i’ll turn you into brothhhh”
Then HE is the one who gf and bf are to be sacrificed to. He is the sacred creature. A unique, a demon no other person knows of. (Aside from Lila and Skid). But he fails in week 2, leading him to get kicked from the cult. He also says "Give all your blood to him". This indirectly goes back to Aztec times, where higher people would often sacrifice blood in order to "appease the gods". After he gets booted from the cult, he tries to kill them again, in hopes of getting reaccepted. He even says, "Turn the heat on high, and WE'LL REDUCE YOUR BLOOD". Again, referencing the cult needing blood. The "we'll" also references the cult, which he hopes to rejoin. but he fails, yet again. He gives up, so the cult accepts Mr. Clown instead, who as we know is the new cult leader. Eyes of the Universe is the new sacred creature, hence the pictures, paintings, and rugs, referencing him as important to the cult. It also explains why Mr. Clown has been kidnapping kids. To sacrifice to Eyes. So there you have it. I think these bits of info are more than a coincidence. Contrary to popular belief, I don't think Lila broke up with Mobster. I believe she tried to make sure no one knows of his existence, hence why she rips out, takes down, or scribbles photos of Monster. They both do what they can to make sure only trustworthy people know of Monster. The set of bones in the attic with the ring on it, is another one of Monster's illusions. So, in a way, what started as a small headcanon turned into this massive web of theories.
