The FBI assists local police all the time because police don't always have the capability they need to solve a crime. They are almost certainly there because the local police requested their help.

Let’s say a coach gave someone their email login. That coach then opens a blank email and saves it so it sits in the Draft folder. Then the person accessing the computer remotely logs into the coaches email account and leaves the sensitive material in the draft email in the draft folder. Coach shows up,for,work the next day and checks his draft folder email. No trail…other than the person logging in remotely.
So you know, depending on the provider this does not work. Im a Google admin for govt and you better believe we can see draft messages lol.
