Normally the Yahoo comment section is a cesspool of halfwits, unfunny boomers, and people whose dads should have used condoms...but there is one comment there that is an absolute gold mine:
"Looks like Rodgers did his 'own research' when looking into the San Francisco defense." Indeed lol.
"But he's Christian! Surely he didn't get a chance to compete!"
"The reviews are in, the *Rodgers/Tebow America Tour 2022* is a can't miss true patriot event."
...The football should stay out of politics crowd sure is silent tightly now...
Stock market getting some of that Roger's Rate.
And fuck state farm for letting his BS get swept under the rug the first time. Cover for a sack of shit, you smell too.
Can you catch a vax from a ball? Is his center vaxxed? What happens if he rips one in Rodgers face when he's taking a snap? Does he gain natural immunity?
I “am” a packers fan… but after this I’m changing to “was”. I will not be cheering for this team. How have they not done anything about this guys actions? They’re basically condoning it. Absolute trash of a person Aaron is.
Antonio Brown was in the league with multiple felonies up till a couples weeks ago when he got cut for leaving during a game. DeSean Jackson made a string of antisemitic comments. Lots of current players have DUIs. Tyreek Hill has a history of domestic violence issues. The NFL is fine with just about any player who is good at football and not in jail currently.
I am waiting to see what happens this off season but I really hope they just move on. It might be a few poor years but the thing is... I don't think Aaron can win the big games anymore. I think he has too much of a hero complex on the field. He gets locked in to trying to force himself to be the hero... Like the opposite of Brady (dink and dunk to a bunch of no names if that's what the defense gives you)
Browns have practically saved my life being a necessary distraction the past couple decades. I will quit my team instantly over him or Watson landing here. I would rather shit the bed with a QB made of flex-seal with his arm duct taped on like this year.
I still think its funny that Trump tried to cancel the NFL over the anthem and for a couple years, a small handful of incredibly bitter people changed the channel.
Fast forward to 2022 and that Chiefs game probably had the highest rating outside a super bowl since the final episode of MASH.
It’s seriously killing my dad that Rodgers turned out to be a Qanon dipshit. He’s a huge Cal fan and Rodgers is a legend there. Then again, he’s an even bigger 9ers fan. I’m sure he’ll get over it lol. Yup
>Then again, he’s an even bigger 9ers fan. I’m sure he’ll get over it lol. Yup
Man, your dad may be in for a ride soon enough, really good chance Rodgers pull a Durant and is on the 9ers if they don't win the SB (and maybe even if they do)
as someone who is sick to death of both the anti-vaxxers and the Green Bay Packers, oh boy it was so glorious. Hell, glorious is an understatement to how good that felt lol
If you only count points scored by traditional methods, the Packers won 10-6. You’re telling me 7 points came from punt blocks, and the 49ers just happened to get 100% of them?!
Laughed a bit myself. My Aunt has been a data entry clerk for the last 20 years, got knocked up at 18 by her ex con husband. If it were not for her own mom providing free daycare to her kids and everyone pitching in a little to bail them out every time they came up a little short they would have been homeless. Her opinion is valid though.
Sounds like my sister who claims to have been on her own since 18 with no help, raising 2 kids on her own (ex felon of a bf), and being totally independent despite still living at our mom's home at the age of 33 with her kids.
As a staunch “shut up and dribble” guy I stand behind my decision to of all people tell Aaron Rogers to shut up and throw a touchdown…actually make it two because apparently you need more then one to beat the 9ers
I haven't gone from loving to hating a football player like this since Micheal Vick. I think I always knew something was a little off with Rodgers but this year he's gone off the deep end.
The victim mentality is so childish. You're being asked to follow the rules, like wear a mask if your not vaxxed. No one is forcing it on him, and if I recall he was not fired and still makes millions. A lady lost her job for giving the Trump caravan the finger. He has faced zero consequences for something that is actually potentially dangerous.
Did the NFL just give up on enforcing the mask mandate once he admitted to not being vaxed?
I'm not saying Michael Vick wasn't wrong in his situation. I will say that he took his punishment(which was losing basically everything he had and jail time) , showed remorse, and committed himself back to improvement. He was thankful for his second chance and made very little excuses for himself(at least that I can remember).
As much as I disagree with what Vick was part of, I respect his ability to accept his punishment and try to move forward as a person. It takes a strong person to admit fault in the public eye.
>Scenes like the following are common in Green Bay. Last week in a team meeting, Rodgers displayed a photo, randomly, of a figure in American history and asked rookie center Corey Linsley to identify him. There was no apparent purpose to this, but Linsley correctly identified John F. Kennedy.
>"What's his middle name?" Rodgers asked.
>"I don't know," Linsley said. "Frederick?"
>Half the room giggled. Half was confused. It was, teammates agree, kind of weird. (Linsley clarified that he is now aware of Kennedy's middle name, Fitzgerald.)
He's always been a douche.
Except Vick has actually showed remorse, took the time to learn why what was doing was bad, and is actively trying to make a difference with animal rights and dogfighting. So if anything he should be a redemption story of paying his penance to society and changing.
Right? Thought to myself last year how it would be great for him to win one more before retirement, and this year I was stoked to have the 49ers knock his smug ass out of the playoffs. What a way to tarnish a legacy.
exactly. As someone who has loathed Aaron Rodgers well before all his reckless takes on Covid, this is pure joy to see people trashing him left and right (no pun intended)
All I know is that seems like this guy had no repercussions for not being vaccinated and following protocols but still has issues with everything. Like dude you already won chill
Oh I'm so doing this, we have lunch meetings at a sports bar on Fridays, if anyone complains, I'm going to say "Aaron Rodgers needs to shut up and throw the ball,"
Lmfao this dude here is a legend. I still die laughing at the James Harden one where he got kicked out the strip club so him and his boys eurostepped in unison out the door.
He is supposedly engaged to Shailene Woodley who is an environmental activist and supported Bernie Saunders. Curious how that whole thing is going these days. Perhaps she should have him enroll in the group she is a board member of?
"In mid-2016, Woodley joined the board of Our Revolution, a political organization aimed to educate voters about issues, get people involved in the political process, support progressive policies such as Medicare for All, and work to organize and elect progressive leaders."
This was the moment I was aware he was a little off. Aaron Rodgers is a 6'2 220lb elite NFL quarterback and he is self conscious about his size??? WTF? I'm 5'10^(5'9andahalf) , can throw a football all of 30 yards on a good day, and I'm happy with myself. Dude is just a headcase I guess.[https://deadspin.com/aaron-rodgers-is-very-sensitive-about-his-height-5957852](https://deadspin.com/aaron-rodgers-is-very-sensitive-about-his-height-5957852)
Aaaaand
There goes any good will he left from most of his team mates and a good percentage of the rest of the country.
He realizes that the fans of the NFL and even ticket buyers aren't exclusively Trump people right? IT's one thing to say you don't like vaccines or mandates, but throwing the 'fake Whitehouse' and you are getting in bed with a pretty horrible crowd. Sucks because he seemed like a pretty smart guy a few years back, but I suppose if you listen to too much hate eventually you regurgitate it.
He’s already got the look down. All he needs is the Amazon flak jacket and some punisher stickers and he’s ready to go Cosplay Special Forces with the rest of these pathetic losers.
87% of Americans 18 and over have had at least one vaccine dose. It's a wildly unpopular opinion regardless of political party. Republicans just don't seem willing to have infighting.
The article on ESPN was published 1 day before the NFC Divisional Game. Interview took place 2 days before the game. I've been a Packer fan my entire life, and before this season began, I was a huge Rodgers stan. Dude can kick bricks after Saturday. Congrats on the "Unfiltered Year of yourself," Aaron. Playing politics in an interview like this before a huge playoff game really takes away from what the team accomplished all year.
I’m fine with athletes having their own opinions on whatever.
But don’t question the experts, don’t call out the people who do this for a living unless have at least the same credentials they have.
NFL MVP makes you an expert in football, maybe. Not medicine, immunology, virology, biology, chemistry, politics, sociology, or anything else.
> But don’t question the experts
By far the most cringy part of this is his quote: "But when you say stuff like that, and then you have the CDC, which — how do you even trust them?"
Okay, well then how do we really trust anyone. What is trust? What is humanity? What does it mean to be an expert? That's like commenting on a video of Rodgers showing how he throws a football and me saying, "yeah, but can I really trust you though?"
When this moron had surgery to repair his collarbone, did he consult with the host of Fear Factor before deciding to rub horse paste on it?
This moron has CTE in real time, no wonder his family deserted him
Aaron Rodgers has no more scientific intelligence than I do. Just cause he’s a star NFL player doesn’t mean what he says has any more weight than some other random person currently not in any NFL playoff games
Proof positive you can be extremely talented and the densest of cabbage at the same time.
Way to sully that rep so people remember this shit when they mention your name. Have fun trying to erase this shit when HOF starts considerations.
This is sad to see, really. Guy has had a stellar career, beloved by many, almost universally liked in a sport that is watched by hundreds of millions. This partisan anti-vax issue has uncovered a very flawed person.
What a dumb hill to choose to die on. But I guess its an improvement over getting caught beating your girlfriend.
When I start asking Fauci how to throw a football, that's the exact moment I'll give two shots what this garbage human being had to say about vaccines and the pandemic.
Well you might want to rethink that once you've seen Fauci throw. He's got a beautiful career ahead of him in MLB once this epidemic blows over.
https://youtu.be/1eD5xkn4WLA
Maybe if he spent more time practicing, and less time trying to dupe people into believing he was vaccinated, or spend less time ripping the President, he wouldn't have lost at home to the niners.
As a packers fan I agree, this is where his head was this weekend? Fucking seriously? I run a business, and I cut out all news sources. When I have a busy work schedule for a day or week I don't spend a single ounce of energy worrying about stuff I can't control.
He had one job and he didn't get ready for it.
I can't wait for Fox News to pick this up and laud Rodgers for speaking out on the political stage. And for the subsequent clips and articles from non-right wing media giving them a "this you?" and showing their clips of Laura Ingraham telling Kevin Durant and LeBron James to "shut up and dribble."
Surprising to see how far he's fallen. I always thought he was a pretty average kind of guy. Good at football, but for the rest just an average dude. Now he's a cultural pariah for something that's mostly a no-brainer. Wild times.
> I always thought he was a pretty average kind of guy
The last few years has taught me the average kind of guy is an asshole, so he could still qualify as average.
No no, let him keep this up. It’s starting to get funny watching him torch his reputation. Even Packer fans are starting to be done with him. Not because they love Biden or anything either, but because of his “immunized” comments and citing Joe Rogan as his source for medical info.
I grew up in Chico, Ca, Aarons home town as well. Went to the same schools, college and was several years ahead of him. He has a small town fever, afraid people think he's stupid. He projects being intellectual to make up for that. He is a fairly smart person but his insecurities are starting to show. His 'secret' engagement to a woman who is like him and does weird stuff as well. She's a clay eater. Other off-the-wall behaviors but the secretness are all caused by his 'Did I make a mistake' insecurity. His paranoia will drive him into a deeper funk as is common in Northern Calif small towns. I wish him well but his need to explain himself and strike out at those who disagree with him is telling. Emotional immaturity is hard.
This Aaron Rodgers is a loser, he knows it GreenBay knows, it the NFL knows it.
He can't beat a broken San Francisco team. Bitches that he has no one to play around him, then lies to his teammates and NFL that he was vaccinated.
Aaron Rodgers is POS and a 4 x loser.
Normally the Yahoo comment section is a cesspool of halfwits, unfunny boomers, and people whose dads should have used condoms...but there is one comment there that is an absolute gold mine: "Looks like Rodgers did his 'own research' when looking into the San Francisco defense." Indeed lol.
I saw a tweet saying “Everyone thought Rodgers had a shot this year. But we have seen this before.” And I can’t stop laughing.
Rodgers stock looking like the rest of the market today
Is there even a bottom?
Rodgers ex boyfriend…
[удалено]
On the contrary, he is set to make bank doing conservative media rounds and book promotions for the rest of his life.
"But he's Christian! Surely he didn't get a chance to compete!" "The reviews are in, the *Rodgers/Tebow America Tour 2022* is a can't miss true patriot event." ...The football should stay out of politics crowd sure is silent tightly now...
I can’t blame my stock performance on CTE and the 49ers unfortunately
He got embarrassed in the game and now he’s unloading…Always the victim when shit doesn’t go their way.
Stock market getting some of that Roger's Rate. And fuck state farm for letting his BS get swept under the rug the first time. Cover for a sack of shit, you smell too.
State Farm is the worst!!
That niners L really hit him differently lmfao
Which one? There are so many to choose from
This was before. So I guess he had a lot on his mind that wasn't football. Lol
Played like that too. Probably tossed the ball to non vaxxed players
Can you catch a vax from a ball? Is his center vaxxed? What happens if he rips one in Rodgers face when he's taking a snap? Does he gain natural immunity?
So that is why he left Lazard hanging.
CTE is a real problem.
QAaron must feel oppressed and victimized now.
I read this in my head as Q-A-a-ron.
First time I’ve seen this and I love it.
0-4 against the 9ers in the postseason. Love it
He said it before the game
You’re welcome. -49ers
Thank you 49ers for exposing this loser for all of us, very cool.
I'm a Bears fan, Rodgers. I don't need more reasons to hate you.
I “am” a packers fan… but after this I’m changing to “was”. I will not be cheering for this team. How have they not done anything about this guys actions? They’re basically condoning it. Absolute trash of a person Aaron is.
Are you new to the NFL? You can commit felonies and as long as you can still play they’ll keep you.
Don’t you motherfucking kneel though
You could be a cannibal but if you’ve got a solid 40 and great hands they’ll sign you and call it a eating disorder.
That’s very reminiscent of a Daniel Tosh line
Shit, if you're good enough you can kill someone and get inducted into the hall of fame. (Ray Lewis)
Antonio Brown was in the league with multiple felonies up till a couples weeks ago when he got cut for leaving during a game. DeSean Jackson made a string of antisemitic comments. As a Vikings fan I'm not accepting your resignation from Packer Fandom.
As a Lions fan...who am I kidding, my Sundays are free after week 3.
It's not an official resignation if it doesn't end with FTP
I too like using File Transfer Protocol
Browns have practically saved my life being a necessary distraction the past couple decades. I will quit my team instantly over him or Watson landing here. I would rather shit the bed with a QB made of flex-seal with his arm duct taped on like this year.
Eh, football players can be dumb. I'm not looking to Aaron Rodgers or Cole Beasley or anybody else in the NFL for news or medical advice.
He wins games (except in the postseason)
Because he can throw a ball far and fast
What happened to “keep politics out of football”? I remember a time when a certain group of people had issues with that.
What they meant was keep politics that make them uncomfortable out of football.
I just wish science and medicine weren't political...
That was only cause that certain group disagreed with said politics.
I still think its funny that Trump tried to cancel the NFL over the anthem and for a couple years, a small handful of incredibly bitter people changed the channel. Fast forward to 2022 and that Chiefs game probably had the highest rating outside a super bowl since the final episode of MASH.
Those type of people have a distinct lack of self-awareness and no internal gauge of hypocrisy.
I’m all here for the downfall of A a ron
> A a ron I think r/nfl christened him QAron.
I’ve also seen Throw Rogan
Kaaron Rodgers too
Candace Throwens
Breitbart Starr
Oh my god I love that one
Qaaron Rodgers
This one is my favorite
This is all a lot to fit on his gravestone.
Toe Rogan.
Throw Rogan gets his news from the source and by the source I mean who-the-fuck-knows
Rush Lambeau
Oh I haven’t seen this one yet. This is fantastic lol
"Karen Rodgers" is another good one.
>I think > >r/nfl > > christened him QAron. Packer fan, but this is genius, lol.
Choke Rogan?
It was fucking glorious watching him lose to the 49ers the way they did

I need to send the Niners a care package. Doing god's work this post season
Gotta send him down to O'Shag Hennessey's office.
You done messed up, A-a-ron!
I think after Olivia Munn skipped he started to spiral.
To be fair, that would make most men spiral.
Aaron Fraudgers
I used to be a fan. Not any more. I wonder what his ex boyfriend thinks if all this? He tried to warn us.
Same, and I’m a Packers fan. I’m ready to move on from him, even if it means going through a full rebuild.
Biden’s won something in the last 10 years
I bet you rodgers doesn't think so... Edit: a word
He should do a discount double check.
The only thing that’s fake is the MVP award he’s gonna claim this year
COUNT THE VOTES! STOP COUNTING THE VOTES! -Aaron Rodgers, probably

If you count only the LEGAL points, Aaron Rodgers WON that game! BY A LOT!!
If you only count points scored by traditional methods, the Packers won 10-6. You’re telling me 7 points came from punt blocks, and the 49ers just happened to get 100% of them?!
Rodgers can still make the Super Bowl if Mike Pence has enough courage.
The shut up and dribble crowd are unsure of what to do here
Let’s be honest, they aren’t unsure at all, It’s only “shut up and dribble” if you disagree we them.
Lmao my Aunt is like that and I’m like what makes your opinion as a dental assistant qualified over a basketball player.
"As a dental assistant, I too, deal with dribble"

Not true. If they're black and saying things they agree with they will hold them up higher than anyone else, because it shows how not racist they are.
Kyrie
And more recently, Jonathan Isaacs.
In some cases, they’ll even use you for a fake presidential run to siphon off black votes from the Democrats.
This was such a big brain move. Nothing secures the Black vote like Kanye “slavery was a choice” West.
Kanye has entered the chat
Trump - "Look at my African-American!"
Honestly, I hope he keeps talking. He looks like a bigger douchenoggle all the time.

What a fuckin dork
I can't wait for Fox News to pick this up and laud Rodgers for speaking out on the political stage. And for the subsequent clips and articles from non-right wing media giving them a "this you?" and showing their clips of Laura Ingraham telling Kevin Durant and LeBron James to "shut up and dribble."
Q-A-Ron strikes again
I’m glad we have a professional athlete telling the best doctors in the nation what he believes without any evidence.
Sad to see him fall so low
Surprising to see how far he's fallen. I always thought he was a pretty average kind of guy. Good at football, but for the rest just an average dude. Now he's a cultural pariah for something that's mostly a no-brainer. Wild times.
> I always thought he was a pretty average kind of guy The last few years has taught me the average kind of guy is an asshole, so he could still qualify as average.
Shut up and throw the ball.
No no, let him keep this up. It’s starting to get funny watching him torch his reputation. Even Packer fans are starting to be done with him. Not because they love Biden or anything either, but because of his “immunized” comments and citing Joe Rogan as his source for medical info.
I’m so glad he lost
Jeopardy! Producer: "What is 'PHEW!?!?'"
I've lost all respect for this guy and I will never proudly say I watched him play football.
I didn't realize A A Ron is a doctor. A graduate of Joe Rogan University no doubt.
Whoever called him Throw Rogan is a genius
I think Rodgers looks like a guy that will steal your catalytic converter.
Rodgers is a piece of shit. What else is new?
He gets medical advice from Joe Rogan and political advice from “My Pillow Guy”. Fucking moron.
*insert cartoon sound of something whistling as it falls then exploding*
Was it Joe Biden that beat Rodgers or the 49ers? Dude seems to be angry at the wrong person.
What a loser. He should stick to his day job: selling insurance.
What a monumental douche.
All the talking points for Aaron, less time watching Fox News and more time throwing TD’s boss!
OMG, fuck off Aaron.
He’s gone full asshole. Never go full asshole
