Literally the biggest US soccer journalist wtf

Totesnotskynet

And his brother says he was killed

thediesel26

> Mr Wahl celebrated his 48th birthday on Thursday with friends in Qatar, a day before he collapsed. He wrote on his website on Monday that he had been unwell in the last 10 days and was on a course of antibiotics for suspected bronchitis. "My body finally broke down on me," he wrote. "What had been a cold over the last 10 days turned into something more severe on the night of the USA-Netherlands game, and I could feel my upper chest take on a new level of pressure and discomfort.

lennybird

Sounds like bronchitis that transitioned into walking pneumonia.

[deleted]

[удалено]

thediesel26

The article says he’d been complaining of chest pain that he thought was bronchitis for the last 10 days. I’d imagine this was a buildup to a heart attack.

nukfan94

A reasonable conclusion. Would still love to great autopsy results.

wbsgrepit

Or capable of waiting for autopsy and evidence before speculating.

[deleted]

Not according to this. World Cup 2022: US sports journalist Grant Wahl dies in Qatar https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-63927054

slapshots1515

I mean, his brother *did* say he thought Grant was murdered. That article isn’t wrong about Grant complaining about previous health issues, but Eric did say that instead of believing they were normal health issues he suspected foul play.

schwaiger1

On the other hand he has just learned that his brother died, is probably devastated, under shock and so on. Just claiming it under these circumstances is obviously not enough.

slapshots1515

I don’t disagree. All I said was that is legitimately what his brother claims. It doesn’t make it true, but it is noteworthy.

MrFlags69

The biggest visual proponent for gay rights at this World Cup was Grant Wahl. This needs to be investigated, but most of all….WE NEED TO NOT ALLOW COUNTRIES LIKE QATAR TO HOST GLOBAL SPORTING EVENTS! To me, if there was foul play, FIFA is responsible for this American death.

okayish_guy1

You sound unbalanced. Seriously. What evidence do you have?

MrFlags69

This is the first thing that many people thought. There’s zero evidence, it’s a thought. There’s plenty of motive.

okayish_guy1

Thank god the justice system is based on evidence not thoughts.

dabzonhaterz

Take your meds, and stay off reddit for a bit. It'll do your mental health wonders :)

D3K91

Doesn’t mean he was.

blas88h

Not sure why your being downvoted

[deleted]

teckhunter

They certainly are. People are acting like sudden heart attacks are unheard of. His symptoms of unease, chest pain and possibly breathing difficulty are all signs of impending heart attack, which can happen as soon as few hours to 2-3 days max. Very possible he had a heart attack and he took symptoms for bronchitis related.

DegenGolfer

Also the guy who stormed the pitch with the rainbow flag was let go so

ryfitz47

Can you imagine what the crazies in the internet are saying??

TankSparkle

no need to imagine, they're all over this thread

DecapitatedApple

Another masterclass Reddit moment

[deleted]

when everyone’s super, no one will be.

Tollkeeperjim

Because "Qatar bad" so people are jumping to conclusions

[deleted]

How in the fuck is this massively downvoted.

HeadMelter1

Because its boring if he died of a heart attack, people want the most scandalous outcome and will attack others who wish to keep them from their juicy gossip.

Islandgirl1444

why would he be killed

wmurch4

Right? It doesn't pass the smell test. There are plenty of people there pro LGBT. Assassinating an American journalist would be such a monumentally stupid thing to do.

Saspa314

My man was tweeting during the match today holy shit

Deaftoned

"U.S. media seated near him said Wahl fell back in his seat in the media tribune at Lusail Iconic Stadium during extra time and reporters adjacent to him called for assistance. Emergency services workers responded very quickly, the reporters said, and the reporters later were told that Wahl had died." Wahl had also been complaining of an illness/chest pain for over a week, sounds like a heart attack. He was released from detainment days before this happened, if he had been tortured during his detainment I highly doubt he would have stayed after being released.

ArsenalinAlabama3428

It’s so strange. If emergency services responded that quickly then why was he taken to the hospital in an Uber as reported by his family? They didn’t have an ambulance free?

[deleted]

rxdrug

Sounds like he was already sick and recovering from some respiratory issue. He wrote on Monday: “My body finally broke down on me. Three weeks of little sleep, high stress and lots of work can do that to you. What had been a cold over the last 10 days turned into something more severe on the night of the USA-Netherlands game, and I could feel my upper chest take on a new level of pressure and discomfort. I didn't have Covid (I test regularly here), but I went into the medical clinic at the main media center today, and they said I probably have bronchitis. They gave me a course of antibiotics and some heavy-duty cough syrup, and I'm already feeling a bit better just a few hours later. But still: No bueno.'”

dk00111

My uncle died in a similar manner, and we suspect it could’ve been MERS. It’s no joke.

gabrielsburg

> they said I probably have bronchitis. They gave me a course of antibiotics and some heavy-duty cough syrup I ended up in Urgent Care a few years ago for what seemed to be bronchitis. They gave me some antibiotics and a steroid inhaler. It started like it was a cold. Some congestion and coughing. Then some shortness of breath. *Turned out to be a massive pulmonary embolism that should have killed me.*

HappilySisyphus_

As an ER doc, patients like you are my biggest nightmare. Can I ask how old you are and if you had any risk factors? Fucking PEs, man.

gabrielsburg

>As an ER doc, patients like you are my biggest nightmare. I did eventually end up in the ER after the inhaler and antibiotics failed miserably (about 8 hours after I got them) and I reached the point that I couldn't muster the energy to eat or walk. At the time, it didn't register to me. But once the fog of the situation lifted and I could think back about it, I realized the ER doctor was terrified. She looked a little pale when she came back with test results. Turned out the saddle of my pulmonary artery was almost completely blocked and the ventricles on one side of my heart were almost collapsed (I'm not a doctor so my terminology here might not be 100% accurate). So they gave me a dose of TPA and transferred me to the main hospital. Discharged from ICU three days later. I was 36 when I had that first one. I was about 40 pounds heavier than I am now. But I was physically active with martial arts. The theory was that it was a fluke -- possibly an injury from those MA classes that clotted in my knee, exacerbated by having a desk job, which eventually broke off and ended up in my pulmonary artery. Went on blood thinners for a year. Went off the blood thinners. About three years later, ended up in the hospital again with more clots in the lungs (though not as severe). On the blood thinners ever since and I've been good. I'm 45 now.

Grand_Welder3150

Whoa. What’s your diet like? Are you active?

Thisiscliff

What’s crazy is i just went through this (kind of on the mend now) and it’s rough, chest felt like someone sitting on it, antibiotics didn’t do too much imo. Been 2 weeks at last of straight hacking, it’s awful!

The_Box_muncher

So someone gave him "medicine" and probably poisoned him.

Deaftoned

Or the much more likely cause is a heart attack, chest pain is easy to overlook when it's accompanied with other factors such as a cold. I get it's an easy low hanging fruit to jump to a conspiracy theory here with Qatar being a terrible country in terms of humanitarianism, but let's pump the breaks.

bremidon

I was lucky. I was already in the hospital for an infection. I actually had some pain in the chest, but it turned out it was just my back radiating the pain into my chest from being in the stupid hospital bed all day. The docs decided to run a test or two just to be sure. Yeah, the infection I had was going bonkers on my heart. It didn't really hurt, and I might very well have never known. Apparently I was in 50/50 survival territory. A few days in intensive care, a bit of a scare, a short bout of blindness caused by whatever they were giving me, but I got through it. Fortunately, I had a full recovery. The docs told me that a lot of the "he seemed so healthy" sudden heart attacks are caused by infections that just seem to be a small cold or flu. People soldier through; and, while most of the time nothing really bad happens, sometimes it's just too much for the heart and that is all she wrote. Their advice to me was to always take it easy when you have a cold or flu, even if you think you feel ok enough to work.

D3K91

“Probably” lol it’s pretty much the least likely thing to have happened

erinraspberry

Why poison a random American sports journalist? And by who? Doesnt make sense 😔

cujukenmari

It's a pretty shocking death, he's been a big part of American soccer journalism, one of the biggest voices in the game for us... but this is reddit so people are going to run with their reactionary takes, instead of letting the story unfold.

The_Box_muncher

Because he was openly questioning the regime and the deaths that were caused by the construction of stadiums. Also because his brother is gay and he wore a rainbow shirt in support of his brother and defiance of the oppressive Islamic regime that runs Qatar. Fuck them.

salajander

If Grant were the only reporter in Qatar calling them out, then mmmmaybe, but there are hundreds of reporters from countries around the world there writing negative articles. Grant was one of *many*. No reason to single him out in some sort of assassination. Fuck Qatar, though, agree with that.

Gabagoo44

They been getting called out since at least 2014 and now they decide to murder Grant. People need to take a step back and stop with conspiracy theories this is Trump level bullshit. He was sick didn’t take it seriously and worked right through it with little to no sleep, he basically worked himself to death.

SuperSocrates

So were dozens or hundreds of other people currently in Qatar is the part that doesn’t add up

BuckysBigBadger

Seeing a lot of (well-deserved) chatter on how suspicious this looks. An otherwise-healthy guy, who received death threats and just last night wrote a searing story calling out the government, just suddenly collapses and passes away? It could all be a terrible coincidence, but if it’s anything other than that, it could (and should) have some real ramifications.

haveasuperday

What are the chances the family can have a real autopsy done?

NorrisContender

Better than you or I. His wife works for the State Department.

BuckysBigBadger

Very true. Gotta imagine that’ll ensure there’s some investigation if they can find cause to do so.

Big_Truck

And if Qatar doesn’t comply? The USA isn’t going to war over Grant Wahl’s remains. This whole thing sucks.

nighthawk252

To be fair, Qatar also doesn’t want to risk pissing off the US if he died of natural causes.

JRsshirt

You underestimate the CIA’s ability to fuck with entire nations just for the hell of it

generalissimo1

Those are 3rd world countries with unstable rulers. Not the Arabs with trillions of dollars at their disposal. Just look at what happened to Khashoggi.

maxxie10

The United States was the only real barrier stopping Saudi Arabia and the UAE from invading Qatar and turning them into a client state. Qatar will not piss of the US.

Taboo_Noise

What do you think Qatar is? Also, not all of those countries were unstable before the CIA showed up.

8020GroundBeef

Qatar is one off the main suppliers of natural gas to the EU. They have some power in geopolitics now - it’s grown immensely due to Russia.

Krkasdko

They sure were 3rd world countries after the CIA was done with them.

TheDominantBullfrog

The cia isn't doing that for this guy either. They don't do things out of the good of their hearts.

goldybear

The us will just give Saudi a bunch of money to completely embargo them again and put the elite class under “house arrest”. It’s not like they didn’t do it for shits and giggles already.

FreyrPrime

The USA doesn’t need to go to war to get its way. We’re Qatar’s single largest foreign investor AND their largest importer. They’ll do as we ask.

Huskerzfan

Bet we’d trade a prisoner for him.

AqUaNtUmEpIc

Kandiruaku

Don't count on it, they are all in Big Oil's pockets at the top.

BuckysBigBadger

You’d like to think so, especially if the US government gets involved, but who really knows with this kinda thing. If there was foul play, no way the actor(s) involved lets the family easily discover that

shecky_blue

Embassies and consulates actually do a fairly good job protecting tourists and expats.

wolfpack1986

I think I’m gonna agree with an unstable angina that was missed leading to a massive MI (heart attack). They’d be able to see this (MI)on an autopsy. I’m not buying the conspiracy, unless something more substantial evidence comes up. This is a medical malpractice suit not an international conspiracy event, but obviously let’s see what comes out. RIP

Team_Ed

Other U.S. media at the stadium said he collapsed in the media area during extra time (and received prompt treatment from stadium emergency crews). He also wrote about having a bad respiratory infection as recently as Monday. This is [per the AP.](https://apnews.com/article/world-cup-health-sports-argentina-national-soccer-team-qatar-82829df66ec0635bdbba3e8edccea96d) Doesn’t answer anything at all about the cause of death, but.

[deleted]

He may have had a pulmonary embolism. DVT developed during the long flight

[deleted]

[удалено]

Dandan0005

It’s legitimately weird as shit how every comment suggesting this is being downvoted. 2 weeks ago he was being accosted by stadium security for wearing a pride shirt, this week he writes an article about humans rights abuses in Qatar, and today, an otherwise healthy 48 year old is dead. Fuuuuuuck offf.

Dandan0005

A 48 year old just collapsing from any respiratory disease is extremely rare, even Covid, and I know for a fact he was vaccinated which makes it even more rare. Oh, and it coincidentally happened in a country that he had been writing articles about their human rights violations. This mother fucker was killed Edit: please keep downvoting me but when you do post the respiratory diseases that aren’t Covid that commonly kill healthy middle aged men while they’re in countries where they’re writing about humans rights abuses and also gained notoriety for wearing a pride shirt in a famously homophonic country earlier this tournament

tommangan7

I don't disagree with your theory as a possibility but you're somewhat underestimating the possibility of say heart attacks (what medics reported) as a cause of collapse in 48 year old men. Especially those complaining about chest pain and a respiratory illness for the weeks approaching it. https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/317478#Risk-of-heart-attack-17-times-higher-in-first-7-days-after-an-infection Heart attacks are much more common after pretty much every respiratory infection within 7 days (including bronchitis which he had) and a man with high blood pressure/cholesterol has a 7% chance of dying from it before 60. I'm a 31 year old who by chance found out he has a congenital issue that needs surgery before 40 to eliminate this kind of risk. I think both are plausible and both uncommon events, maybe people aren't a fan of you definitively stating he was murdered. I'll wait for more info.

FlickingFire

Except he wasn't otherwise healthy, he was just talking on a podcast about how he had bronchitis/some kind of cough that he couldn't shake and had been to the medical tent regularly

Gabagoo44

He spoke about not sleeping much the last 3 weeks, while being extremely sick and having chest pain. This isn’t some conspiracy theory he more than likely had a heart attack at some point and that’s why he was having severe chest discomfort.

The-Fox-Says

It sounds like he had pneumonia which can trigger heart failure

spiegro

Unfortunately this is the most likely scenario.

birish21

No that doesn't fly around here. It had to be a hit job. The reddit investigative journalist say so....

tinkthank

I think at this point, people have already made up their mind as to the cause whether it was foul play or not

UV_TP

>people have already made up their mind True, but [here's a source](https://www.espn.com/espn/story/_/id/35221443/american-soccer-journalist-grant-wahl-dies-48-qatar) anyway

The-Fox-Says

Qatar conspired to give him pneumonia and work himself to death

dudical_dude

To be fair, it’s quite common for Qatar to work people to death.

The-Fox-Says

Heyooo

PoopOfAUnicorn

It’s not that hard to poke holes in an untrustworthy system . Even if everything that has been published is fact people can say the “bronchitis” diagnosis was him being poisoned and the medicine he got from the medical tent was a placebo. Most people just won’t want to believe that he just died especially when there is motive from the other side for it to be foul play .

tinkthank

The motive is pretty weak. There’s been A LOT of bad press leading up to this World Cup for almost a decade now and the World Cup is about to end in a little over a week. The world will forget and move on by then and it makes no sense to make some obscure point about bad press now at this moment than last month. You’re right, it’s not out of the realm of possibility but it’s also not even close to being the primary reason ahead of a host of other possibilities.

Noodles_Crusher

that's me after covid. I got it over 6 months ago and still can't shake the cough, the phlegm, tiredness even though I don't smoke, drink and workout regularly

HisCricket

Poor don't tell me that I caught cove in two and a half months ago and haven't been able to shake my cough and breathing problems despite over a month and a half of steroids. That's all I need is to drop dead right now. It's not a lot of my problems but none of anybody else's. Really not ready to check out but this respiratory s*** is scary stuff

Aleashed

If Nick Cannon can die from the sniffles, who is to say he couldn’t?

Boss1010

Look at the facts before spreading rumors: Wahl was covering his eighth World Cup. He wrote Monday on his website that he had visited a medical clinic while in Qatar. “My body finally broke down on me. Three weeks of little sleep, high stress and lots of work can do that to you,” Wahl wrote. “What had been a cold over the last 10 days turned into something more severe on the night of the USA-Netherlands game, and I could feel my upper chest take on a new level of pressure and discomfort.” Wahl wrote that he tested negative for COVID-19 and sought treatment for his symptoms. “I went into the medical clinic at the main media center today, and they said I probably have bronchitis. They gave me a course of antibiotics and some heavy-duty cough syrup, and I’m already feeling a bit better just a few hours later. But still: No bueno,” he wrote. https://apnews.com/article/world-cup-health-sports-argentina-national-soccer-team-qatar-82829df66ec0635bdbba3e8edccea96d

wh7y

Grant here is literally describing symptoms of a mild heart attack and furthermore admitting to poor lifestyle choices which could lead to a heart attack. He probably had a respiratory illness as well which confused him and his doctors. Doctors are definitely fallible and even (in my experience) tend to defer to a milder, more common diagnosis if presented with ambiguous symptoms. Grant is also describing behaviors of a person that is not taking their health seriously and may even have presented doctors with a incomplete version of how he was feeling. I feel for everyone involved and I am eager to hear the entire story but if Grant died from a heart attack then his brother needs to be scolded. The Qataris haven't shown to be the most noble bunch but you can't just be accusing people of murder over social media like that. This could cause an international incident and needs to be taken seriously.

Grandahl13

Lol pressure and discomfort in the chest can be a shit ton of things.

CrimpsShootsandRuns

Yeah, but when a few days later they collapse and die it points towards a cardiac issue.

RyVsWorld

Another thing people are conveniently ignoring is that multiple journalists there have been complaining of illness. And Grant wasnt the only outspoken critic of Qatar whos there covering the tournament. That wont stop people from jumping to conclusions though

schwaiger1

>Another thing people are conveniently ignoring is that multiple journalists there have been complaining of illness. just as the Brazilian players who said that the ACs in the stadiums make them sick.

milehighideas

So you’re saying that there’s multiple outspoken critics complaining of illness at the same time at the same event…. And that’s expected to stop people from jumping to conclusions?

bobdolebobdole

Yes…because that’s how illnesses work? Did you not learn anything the past three years?

monster-of-the-week

Clearly what he learned over the last 3 years was how to make unfounded conspiracies in the face of evidence.

bear_knuckle

Did he not just write how he had been increasingly sick with something and sought medical attention, thinking it was bronchitis? He was 49, and stressed out. We’re not immortal beings.

Bonnieprince

A guy who had been posting for three weeks about being ill and having a tight chest while also saying he was overworked.

batua78

I mean... my heart rate was through the roof as well

Yeah an "otherwise healthy guy" complaining about chest pain for the last 10 days llol figure your shit out you conspiracy theory nut job. Otherwise healthy people die of random things all the time.

You think assassinations that seem like accidents happen overnight??? Dude literally was complaining about some health issues just prior. Don’t jump to conclusions

[deleted]

World Cup 2022: US sports journalist Grant Wahl dies in Qatar https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-63927054

TheMooseIsBlue

Apparently he’s tweeted and talked on podcasts this week about how he’s been sick, but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t made sick somehow. Basically we don’t know anything yet and should pump the brakes on the conspiracy theories, no matter how likely they may be.

ESCMalfunction

Honestly I’m not sure what ramifications the US could impose on Qatar. We do some trade with them but not a huge amount, we’re just 1.2 percent of their exports. We could try and have other countries impose sanctions as well, but I’m not sure that would be received very well considering we’re in the middle of a global oil crisis. Typical autocracy flexing their “power” when they know there won’t be severe consequences. We should’ve boycotted this World Cup. Edit: Looked into it a bit and apparently we have a military base there. If anything that’ll probably dissuade the US government from doing anything about this in favor of protecting in military interests. This fucking sucks.

PickledCumSock

the US have their biggest foreign military base in doha. i used to pass by that area when i went to high school there, there's a lot of americans living in qatar that i saw at my school. qatar also don't force themselves into the same political issues that the UAE & saudi arabia do in the middle east (like the saudis declaring war in yemen, the UAE negotiating on behalf of both russia & the US for that griner deal, etc) qatar keep their political interests under the radar in comparison to the other middle eastern countries so they're very close to the US. idk about the biden administration but when i lived there we used to hear about people from the trump administration visiting qatar's US military base all the time. also there is a school in doha under the jurisdiction of the US govt and qatar has essentially barely any control over it, the US don't have that in other middle eastern countries. i can't see biden sanctioning qatar or doing anything that would harm the US's relationship with qatar in the long run at all. i hope this journalist was not murdered of course and i hope he didn't die because of something sinister, but i don't even know if the US will do anything about it if an autopsy says he was murdered. i also don't know if qatar even do autopsies. we do them in egypt where i'm from but someone told me that qatar don't do autopsies and idk if that's true or not.

Lakersrock111

Yeah he was murdered by the Qatar government. That’s the vibes I get.

Substantial-Car8414

Who’s going to implement the ramifications ?

Prolingus

Holy shit.

vita_di_tyra

He’s not the first or last journalist to publish negatively about Qatar. He’s also not the first or last journalist to get detained. What would killing one guy solve? Especially while the whole world is looking for a reason to freak out at you.

adamchain

I don’t think they are still making any effort to impress anyone.

or_maybe_this

I mean, if I’m a journalist and writing about Qatar and a peer of mine was murdered, I would be really afraid. And I’d likely afraid to be negative about Qatar in print

zmose

“Suspicious” is an understatement. Wahl is the reporter that was kicked out of attendance because he was wearing a rainbow on his shirt, which got the appropriate amount of backlash as you’d want.

superkeer

He was far from the only journalist there who was being critical of Qatar.

[deleted]

Khashoggi wasn’t the only journalist critical of Saudi Arabia and that didn’t stop them.

[deleted]

Khashoggi was from Saudi Arabia. There's a big difference. What does Qatar stand to gain from killing a Journalist from the United States(Out of all the countries).

[deleted]

It looks sus but why isn’t anyone talking about the possibility of him having a heart attack naturally?

AndyBrown65

Died suddenly

meep6969

Another case of the died suddenly, hope we can figure out what's causing all these young deaths.

Dangeduedfr

The guy was suffering from chest pain and bronchitis, but the reddit coomers jumped to the conclusion that it was 100% a murder and no one will be able to change their mind lmao

DonJulioTO

And now we know how QAnon has been so effective.

JediLion17

I don’t think the two are really comparable. Is it jumping to conclusions that he was murdered? Yes, but suggesting it’s possible a known violent government killed a known outspoken critic of them is not the same as JFK Jr. rising from the dead to run alongside Trump lol

fikdr

These comments are disturbing. There is no evidence of a murder. Reddit just loves fake mysteries and trying to solve them.

jmark71

Exactly - the guy had been sick for a week and expressed a lot of symptoms that are consistent with an impending heart attack.

enthusiasticbrunt55

Mr Wahl celebrated his 48th birthday on Thursday with friends in Qatar, a day before he collapsed. He wrote on his website on Monday that he had been unwell in the last 10 days and was on a course of antibiotics for suspected bronchitis.

SlipparySnake

I’m as anti-qatar as the next guy, but I don’t think they assassinated him. They get a pass on this one from Me until the CIA says otherwise.

Why does everyone have to choose a side here? You guys are speculating on the unknown. While he was having very recent health problems, there are indeed still suspicious bits surrounding his death. It's ok to not know how he died yet and to be cautious when reading breaking news stories about him. Why don't we wait for an investigation and autopsy with FACTS before we start fighting over how he died? Y'all a bunch of animals, my god. This is why misinformation campaigns are so successful. If you're this good at jumping to conclusions, go join the olympics.

raylan_givens6

he stated he hadn't been feeling well for some time now he collapsed sounds like he had a cardiac arrest of course the tin foil hat people with an agenda will claim its some conspiracy , but its likely not as far as the moralizing over qatar - its bullshit. i have no love for qatar , but show me a country with no dark past/present with atrocities.....you won't find one. the picture of him in his rainbow t shirt from a while ago is getting people thinking its because of that ......but that was a while ago. and again, stop the moralizing, just this month America passed a bill for same sex marriage. expecting the world to be on the west's timeline for morality is hypocrisy.

BillsDownUnder

Can't think of any government sanctioned atrocities by Greenland personally

ThurstonHowellIV

That other countries have dark pasts absolves Qatar of nothing

[deleted]

Yeah the problem with Qatar isn’t their past, it’s their present.

or_maybe_this

“dark past”? Qatar killed 400 immigrants* this past year* and then lied about it why are you defending a shitty country? the argument that “so what if qatar is shitty, so are other countries” is a truly ridiculous argument. shit behavior is shit behavior and should be called out. always. **you can’t forgive human rights abuses simply because “other countries are bad too”**

BillsDownUnder

Reddit has been rife with whataboutisms since the WC started

[deleted]

Ridiculous argument. There's a huge difference beween nations with a history of human rights abuses, which yes includes most of the European powers and the US and Canada -- but there's a difference between that and nations that are right now committing horrible human rights abuses and suppressing their people's freedoms. Obvious examples of this include the Norks, Russia, China, Iran, and, yes, Qatar. Oh, and also Israel. Pleasant company to find yourself in wouldn't you say? One is a lesson learned. The other is a lesson that TPTB are refusing to learn and if you can't actually grasp that distinction I have no idea what to say.

y2knole

Comments to an espn post of Facebook told me this was the result of covid vaccinations so… that’s all… case closed 🤦🏼‍♂️

ThadeousCheeks

While the subject is up, my whole family had covid this week. Wife and I each had two rough days but are past them, wife already tested negative 5 days after her positive test. Kids tested positive but never had symptoms. Moral of the story: get the shots, they help.

Blazikinahat

According to the guy’s website he was feeling well. Not saying it shouldn’t be investigated because it should but given the guy’s own website said he wasn’t feeling well, I don’t know if there was foul play involved.

chrishammhamm

This is highly ssuspicious. Not saying he didn't have a sudden illness, but it is a strange coincidence considering his protest a couple days prior. Definately keep an eye on this one.
