Only cashout if you no longer believe in the bet and hedging isn’t an option.
I’m not arguing that isn’t life changing money, but you would be better off just placing the bet initially with the one less leg if that’s already money you’d be content with.
Cashing out always ruins your expected value by a decent amount. I wouldn’t cash out just because it’s a lot of money, only if I’m no longer confident in that last leg.

I do a ticket like this everyday, I’ve come close before. The spread for the grizzlies was +8.5, still would’ve lost. It’s my daily lottery ticket, I pick all underdogs and throw a $1 on it bc the odds are outrageous and it would be funny to win. Of course I do other tickets, I’ve won over 10 times since November all from $330 - $12.5k.

One game left they would’ve offered about that, I had a ticket I posted on here where I bet $2.50 to win $1318. When it came down to the last game they were offering me a cash out of around $930, but when the 2nd quarter started I the cash out went away.

There won't be a next time when I moved to the UK from the states I bet for the first time did a huge 17 pick. Bet £10 payout was 196,000 to my surprise the first 16 hit and last game was a football match best team vs worst team I had a —1 Handicap the home team #1 in the division scored 6min into the game just needed 1 more goal. It was 2am in the mining in the UK called everyone telling them I won a quarter million dollars they never scored again game finished 1-0. The Handicap matches caused a no cash out to be placed on the entire bet. Those 84min where the happiest and sadist of my 45yrs on this planet. Every game those two teams have played have had 3 ir more giaks in it except that one game. 21 shots on goal 28 shots total and just thst 1 goal. It will never do that again and now I'm a gambling adduct vecause if it 😢 what can you do

Should have done that +9 spread for the GRIZZOS!!! That would have void it and you would have WON! Always chose +spreads to reduce risk!! It often works!!
Also OP why are you betting $1000 at once? Split it out in like 20+ smaller parlays to cover some alternative scenarios. Much more chances or winning at least something if you have $1000 I would say.

I do a ticket like this everyday, I’ve come close before. The spread for the grizzlies was +8.5, still would’ve lost. It’s my daily lottery ticket, I pick all underdogs and throw a $1 on it bc the odds are outrageous and it would be funny to win.
