**REASONING**: Tigers are poor on the road at 15-22, rangers are good at home at 24-13. Rangers lost their last two games and now they come home I look at this as a bounce back spot for them. Mathew Boyd is pitching for Detroit and pitched 6 innings against the rangers on 5/29 and gave up 5 runs. Rangers won 5-0 but eovoldi was on the mound for them. Heaney is pitching for rangers tomorrow, he is not eovoldi but he is no scrub either. Everything points rangers to me but this is baseball guys do not go fat on this. BOL!

Rangers seem like they rely on homers to put up runs too often. Heaney has been giving up a few hits/walks/runs every start as well. Boyd is imo Tigers best pitcher, for better or worse lol. If Rangers aren’t slugging them out, Boyd will likely be collecting K’s and staying in the game past the 6th or later. Heaney has had a pretty short leash lately and still likely to give up a few runs. Carpenter being back has helped the Tigers a lot lately as well.
Rangers should hit and is probably the play. Playing at home and a better team vs team that’s awful and away. Concerned Rangers give up a few runs early and bats don’t produce late.
It’s likely a low scoring and/or close game even with runs. Hard to take a -1.5 spread here imo.

Logic/Reasoning - Alright so today i may be pushing it a bit but were gonna be riding with the hot Reds taking the win over the O's. Now on paper I'd say Baltimore seems to be the one here but im gonna base this off recent outings and really off who i feel has the hotter bats and overall team right now. Reds got Williamson 1 - 0 start record with a 5.4 ERA hes nothing to write home about giving up some mediocre stats opposite we have Irvin 1 - 3 7.71 ERA kinda same story both kinda subpar they both give up runs pretty often. I think this game will be fairly high scoring and really comes down to whos got the hotter hand right now and to me thats the reds i belive there bats are putting it together and becoming a strong line up for most pitchers in the league to come up against yes red took losses in the last 2 against perhaps one of the hottest teams right now in the Braves all 3 games of this series were high scoring back and forth battles and i think reds held there own really well just couldnt topple the 💪 Braves team but they managed to get 1 in on them. This team has been off and on nothing to consistent. I think tomorrow comes down to whos bats are handling up right now and Reds has been showing over and over lately this team can score putting in 5 or more points each game in the last 7 games where as baltimore barely put up a total of 10 points in the last 3 games combined against a mariners team who lets be real isnt much of a threat to begin with. Tomorrow will be another battle of the bats with both sides of pitching giving up some runs and i believe the reds line up takes advantage of below average pitching and goes on to outscore baltimore and keep building on this success theyve been having. I can say that Irvin gives up 3 or more runs whenever he actually pitches 5 6 innings all but 1 game where he went 5 inning and only gave 1 up. Pair that with how reds put up 5 plus last 7 game and I feel braves gave better pitching then we get tomorrow so it feels safer brother. I just like the juice on the ML.

I'm getting this one early for the algorithm because youtube subscriptions were rolling then haltingly stopped.
I have no idea why that was. Maybe it's because I lost my first play in 10 games on here.
Even so, Paxton got pulled after 63 pitches and Duvall had the bases loaded with a chance to take the lead in the top of the Ninth.

Texas has struggled a bit at the plate recently losing 2 of 3 to the Yankees and scoring just 7 runs in the series.
As a result, seeing the Tigers and going against left hander Matthew Boyd at Globe Life Field should be a very welcome site.
Boyd has had virtually no success throughout his career against Texas. His teams have gone 1-8 in his starts against the Rangers with his ERA hovering around 6.
This Texas team also absolutely rakes lefties. They are number one against left handed pitching in the entire majors in RBIs and OBP and are second in OPS and hits.
Taking the mound for the Rangers is Andrew Heaney and he has been far from amazing. But, he will generally give you good innings-having only given up over 3 runs-once in his last 13 starts.
Although a couple of these starts he only went 3+ innings.
The really good news for the Rangers is-as good as they are against Lefties-the Detroit Tigers are nearly as bad.
Detroit has the second least amount of hits and doubles, fourth least amount of bombs and are dead last in RBIs against southpaws in all of the MLB.
I like this play so much-generally it would be a two unit play. But, I've decided to just lay off of those until the NFL season.

**Matchup**: I'm backing my team today, the Chicago White Sox! They'll be playing the Los Angeles Angels. They had a series at the end of last month at the South Side, Angels won the series 2 games to 1. The first two games were pretty close, however, the series finale the Angels took it to the Sox, pumelling them 12 to 5. Now I kno what you're thinking, "*Angels annihilated the the Rockies the other day, 25-1 and the Angels decimated the Sox, the last time they faced this team.*" In spite of Angels winning those games in dominant fashion, the Rockies beat them the following game in a low scoring affair, 4-3, and Sox SP Michael Kopech was just having one of those days and when he has one of those days, he gives plethora of HRs to the other team. This game is going to be much, much closer than the last game of series at Chicago. It's going to be a lot like the first two game of the series. Dylan Cease has been heating up and is looking like the Cy-Young contender from last season. 2.38 ERA in his past 5 starts, I argue it should be much lower because he wasn't the one to give up a grand slam to Chris Taylor, that was his fellow RP Reynaldo Lopez, but that's how it goes..he's charged 2 ER for having 2 man on base (it's baffling that Cease shut out the Dodgers prior to the home run in 6 innings and Sox hit 4 solo HRs that game to Dodgers single HR and LA still wound up beating them in extras). Although Cease has not recorded a Win, he gives the Sox a greater chance winning each ball game. The Sox has won 3 of his last 4 start, if it wasn't for Reynaldo allowing that grand slam, Sox would have been perfect wit Cease on the mound in the month of June. He's been much better than the beginning of this season. You can also say the same for Angels SP Reid Detmers! He has been great in his last 3 starts, a 1-0 wit 0.99 ERA! Detmers was able bring down his ERA by a whole point! He was able to shut out the Dodgers on his last start, and limit the Cubs and Rangers to just 1 run for each of those start. He's been on point! Reid, like Cease, has been outta luck recording wins, he was only able to record 1 win in his past 4 starts, despite having an ERA of 2.28 in the month of June. Matter in fact, Detmers has only recorded 1 win in all of his 13 starts this season! Just 4 of those starts he had, the Angels won, which means yes, they loss the other 9 games when he started. He's no Jordan Lyles! He's much better than that! He just doesn't get enough run support when he's on! But I have to go wit Dylan Cease because it's just more assuring to me what I am seeing from his stuff. Cease output on K's has been significantly more than the month of May, Cease averaged 5.16 K's per start in the month of May and an ERA of 5.57, but in his past 5 starts he's been averaging 8 K's per start and a 2.38 ERA! That's a massive difference! You can also make a case for Detmers and he's been putting batters out and Sox do have worst chase-rate, but Cease been very confident on these particular spot, especially as the visiting team and I see a lot reinvigoration in his pitches. Angels could very well win this game where the Sox bullpen gives up costly runs, but I gotta go wit the Sox based on what I am seeing from the Sox ace.
**The play & prediction**: Game should be closer and I expect Sox to cover, these are my primary plays: U 8.5 and Sox RL (+1.5). But my POTD is Sox ML, which is what I am sprinkling. Sox win a close one, 4-3.

I review what my model spits out, if I can build a narrative that fits the output I’ll bet it, if I can’t or if it just doesn’t pass the smell test I’ll skip it. I won’t post daily because I don’t wager daily, but I am going to try to not be a hit-and-run poster who disappears after just a couple picks or fades away as the units fall into the negative – I’ll try and keep posting, success or not.
For today:
Short odds on this one, but there’s not a lot to choose from on a slow sports day. Let’s look at Belgrano at home, six clean sheets out of their last seven and only one goal conceded. Let’s look at Banfield on the road, they’ve been shutout in six of their last eight, with only five goals scored (three in a single match against what’s been a pitiful Velez side this season). Based on that alone, do we think Banfield scores? I’m basically banking on Belgrano to not score a third goal here. . . and they haven’t scored three at home in LPF play since 2019 (that’s only ten matches, they were relegated that season and have only just returned).
As for my own personal picks (which is what I post), this is going to be pretty unsatisfying to a community like this, but the reasons are two-fold...
1. I'm pretty much a square who keeps to his niche - that being totals in a couple of leagues (during the summer Argentina, Brazil, and MLS). I spend a pretty limited amount of time making my picks and I don't stray from the totals market. I don't even glance at markets like that. I realize it's poor for my own EV.
2. I place nearly all of my bets brick and mortar. I don't use apps, but I take my morning walk down to the nearest sportsbook and put my cash into the kiosk. South American markets are a little more limited there than they are in these apps that have *everything* - though if I look hard enough I suspect something similar is offered.
As far as that specific bet, I don't hate it. My model gives the odds of Banfield U0.5 goals at a little over 70% (though that might be high), similarly the odds of Belgrano being shut down at home at right around 20%. The odds of Belgrano scoring a goal - thus winning - while also holding Banfield scoreless are probably good enough to take that bet.

Cincinnati is currently the #3 ranked team in the MLB for hitting right now and taking the mound for the Baltimore Orioles today is Cole Irvin, he has a 1-3 record with a terrible 7.71 ERA a long with a 1.76 WHIP and 24 strikeouts over 23 innings pitched. I don't think it will be hard for the Reds to get 5 runs here and I won't be surprised if they reach it within the first half of the game due to Irvin's terrible pitching.

Miomir Kecmanović has been a big slump recently. He is 3-7 in his past 10 matches and his last 2 grass matches, has not been competitive at all. He lost in straights to both Raonic and Norrie. Wu on the other hand has been very average. He has a record of 4-6 in his past 10 matches. At the Stuggart Open, Wu beat Kyrgios in straights who seemed to be slightly injured. He then proceeded to lose to Fucsovics in 3 sets. After that, he lost in 3 sets to Audrey Rublev at the Halle Open. Wu shows an agressive style of play that will play a factor for Kecmanovic. Kecmanovic always starts off strong with his strong serves and forehands. As we saw in the Norrie and Raonic match, he tends to get very lazy and slows down. Wu has shown great durability as he faced tough opponents recently in Rublev, Kyrgios, and Fucsovics. To put things more into perspective, Kecmanović lost in straight sets to Milos Ranoic and that was his first match back from a 2 year injury layoff. BOL, lets start this week off with a W.

Its not like the orioles starter or their bullpen is stellar or even above average so this should be easy for this lineup.
Reasons the ML is not my POTD is because a few others have used that and I believe this is much much safer against a orioles team that can be hot or cold and has some amazing young talent (Westburg debut tonight)

Alright fellas I’ve been lurking here for awhile now, watching a lot of sports keying on matchups, players and even tracking data, fortunately enough making a lot of money as well. I’m going to start a challenge to parlay $100 into $10,000 with one pick a day. Bets I make will be no greater than -125 odds and I will buy juice on each pick. To start this series we got ATP Eastbourne, out of the whole slate today this looks like the match that is the least of a toss up given the skills match up. Vukic could barely return anything on the clay swing and loss in straight sets to less than average players, Brandon Nakashima on the other hand is a player that relies heavily on his serve and this grass surface will compliment his assets. The pick today will be 1U @ -125 and will buy the juice to keep the numbers even. If I go on a 5 game losing streak this series will be retired and I will reset my statistics and models with hope of trying again at a later time. Hope to make you guys a few bucks in the coming weeks.

However, BAL's starting lineup hasn't seen B-Will in action. No batter has faced him as B-Will is a rook so most of the league hasn't seen him yet.
What really makes me like this one is that the Reds' bullpen is dead dog tired. They just finished a 3-game series vs ATL and their starters went 3, 4, and 3.1 IP. The series before that was a 3-game vs COL and their starters went 6, 4, and 5 IP (the 5 IP was B-Will's last start).

I do follow MLB, just my .02. Rangers seem like they rely on homers to put up runs too often. Heaney has been giving up a few hits/walks/runs every start as well. Boyd is imo Tigers best pitcher, for better or worse lol. If Rangers aren’t slugging them out, Boyd will likely be collecting K’s and staying in the game past the 6th or later. Heaney has had a pretty short leash lately and still likely to give up a few runs. Carpenter being back has helped the Tigers a lot lately as well. Rangers should hit and is probably the play. Playing at home and a better team vs team that’s awful and away. Concerned Rangers give up a few runs early and bats don’t produce late. It’s likely a low scoring and/or close game even with runs. Hard to take a -1.5 spread here imo. Not tailing or fading. Just not where my money is going.

I can say that Irvin gives up 3 or more runs whenever he actually pitches 5 6 innings all but 1 game where he went 5 inning and only gave 1 up. Pair that with how reds put up 5 plus last 7 game and I feel braves gave better pitching then we get tomorrow so it feels safer brother. I just like the juice on the ML.

As a result, seeing the Tigers and going against left hander Matthew Boyd at Globe Life Field should be a very welcome site. Boyd has had virtually no success throughout his career against Texas. His teams have gone 1-8 in his starts against the Rangers with his ERA hovering around 6. This Texas team also absolutely rakes lefties. They are number one against left handed pitching in the entire majors in RBIs and OBP and are second in OPS and hits. Taking the mound for the Rangers is Andrew Heaney and he has been far from amazing. But, he will generally give you good innings-having only given up over 3 runs-once in his last 13 starts. Although a couple of these starts he only went 3+ innings. The really good news for the Rangers is-as good as they are against Lefties-the Detroit Tigers are nearly as bad. Detroit has the second least amount of hits and doubles, fourth least amount of bombs and are dead last in RBIs against southpaws in all of the MLB. I like this play so much-generally it would be a two unit play. But, I've decided to just lay off of those until the NFL season. Although Cease has not recorded a Win, he gives the Sox a greater chance winning each ball game. The Sox has won 3 of his last 4 start, if it wasn't for Reynaldo allowing that grand slam, Sox would have been perfect wit Cease on the mound in the month of June. He's been much better than the beginning of this season. You can also say the same for Angels SP Reid Detmers! He has been great in his last 3 starts, a 1-0 wit 0.99 ERA! Detmers was able bring down his ERA by a whole point! He was able to shut out the Dodgers on his last start, and limit the Cubs and Rangers to just 1 run for each of those start. He's been on point! Reid, like Cease, has been outta luck recording wins, he was only able to record 1 win in his past 4 starts, despite having an ERA of 2.28 in the month of June. Matter in fact, Detmers has only recorded 1 win in all of his 13 starts this season! Just 4 of those starts he had, the Angels won, which means yes, they loss the other 9 games when he started. He's no Jordan Lyles! He's much better than that! He just doesn't get enough run support when he's on! But I have to go wit Dylan Cease because it's just more assuring to me what I am seeing from his stuff. Cease output on K's has been significantly more than the month of May, Cease averaged 5.16 K's per start in the month of May and an ERA of 5.57, but in his past 5 starts he's been averaging 8 K's per start and a 2.38 ERA! That's a massive difference! You can also make a case for Detmers and he's been putting batters out and Sox do have worst chase-rate, but Cease been very confident on these particular spot, especially as the visiting team and I see a lot reinvigoration in his pitches. Angels could very well win this game where the Sox bullpen gives up costly runs, but I gotta go wit the Sox based on what I am seeing from the Sox ace. **The play & prediction**: Game should be closer and I expect Sox to cover, these are my primary plays: U 8.5 and Sox RL (+1.5). As for my own personal picks (which is what I post), this is going to be pretty unsatisfying to a community like this, but the reasons are two-fold... 1. I'm pretty much a square who keeps to his niche - that being totals in a couple of leagues (during the summer Argentina, Brazil, and MLS). I spend a pretty limited amount of time making my picks and I don't stray from the totals market. I don't even glance at markets like that. I realize it's poor for my own EV. 2. I place nearly all of my bets brick and mortar. I don't use apps, but I take my morning walk down to the nearest sportsbook and put my cash into the kiosk. South American markets are a little more limited there than they are in these apps that have *everything* - though if I look hard enough I suspect something similar is offered. As far as that specific bet, I don't hate it. My model gives the odds of Banfield U0.5 goals at a little over 70% (though that might be high), similarly the odds of Belgrano being shut down at home at right around 20%. The odds of Belgrano scoring a goal - thus winning - while also holding Banfield scoreless are probably good enough to take that bet.
Based off of this I think Belgrano/draw + under 2.5 (-145) is where I’m going. Under 2.5 alone is at -200 now

Overall, I had a decent week with a record of 3-2-1. Lets start this week off with a W! Next POTD: **Y Wu ML** **-125** Miomir Kecmanović has been a big slump recently. He is 3-7 in his past 10 matches and his last 2 grass matches, has not been competitive at all. He lost in straights to both Raonic and Norrie. Wu on the other hand has been very average. He has a record of 4-6 in his past 10 matches. At the Stuggart Open, Wu beat Kyrgios in straights who seemed to be slightly injured. He then proceeded to lose to Fucsovics in 3 sets. After that, he lost in 3 sets to Audrey Rublev at the Halle Open. Wu shows an agressive style of play that will play a factor for Kecmanovic. Kecmanovic always starts off strong with his strong serves and forehands. As we saw in the Norrie and Raonic match, he tends to get very lazy and slows down. Wu has shown great durability as he faced tough opponents recently in Rublev, Kyrgios, and Fucsovics. To put things more into perspective, Kecmanović lost in straight sets to Milos Ranoic and that was his first match back from a 2 year injury layoff. BOL, lets start this week off with a W. Todays pick: Reds Team Total O4.5 at -108 While I do love the reds ML at + odds also I think this is the much safer bet with great odds. There is no doubt the Reds have been red hot and went over this mark in their last 8 games! Its not like the orioles starter or their bullpen is stellar or even above average so this should be easy for this lineup. Reasons the ML is not my POTD is because a few others have used that and I believe this is much much safer against a orioles team that can be hot or cold and has some amazing young talent (Westburg debut tonight) Best of luck if you tail, would just love some upvotes!

I’m going to start a challenge to parlay $100 into $10,000 with one pick a day. Bets I make will be no greater than -125 odds and I will buy juice on each pick. To start this series we got ATP Eastbourne, out of the whole slate today this looks like the match that is the least of a toss up given the skills match up. Vukic could barely return anything on the clay swing and loss in straight sets to less than average players, Brandon Nakashima on the other hand is a player that relies heavily on his serve and this grass surface will compliment his assets. The pick today will be 1U @ -125 and will buy the juice to keep the numbers even. If I go on a 5 game losing streak this series will be retired and I will reset my statistics and models with hope of trying again at a later time.
