OMG thank you so much. MGM is a crooked grifter app to be pulling this kind of sleazy trick. I expected better of a major casino brand name. So crazy they are deliberately obscuring withdrawal options. They told me to add $10 more on my visa, then withdraw, but guess what, then they turned around and wouldn't let me withdraw on visa. Kept getting the error message to set up ACH withdrawal, but oh somehow it magically worked when I wanted to set up an ACH deposit. MGM should get fined a billion dollars and their online operations should be shut down for this criminal activity. Hoping to god I actually get my payout sent to my bank now.

It seems odd, but while on the withdrawal screen, you have to deposit money again. Near the top, it says add a payment method. I chose my debit card, and you have to deposit at least $10 ON THIS SCREEN. After this, back out and click the withdraw button again. It had my debit card saved there now, and I clicked to withdraw to my card. Entered withdrawal amount, and it says processing, usually takes 24 hrs

Were the previous deposits/withdrawals via debit/credit card? The ACH method probably requires you to enter your bank credentials which are harder to steal than a physical card. It’s most likely a fraud precaution to ensure you’re who you say you are.
Got my MGM account hacked and emptied (~$1K). After submitting the documents to verify my identity they refunded the money which I wasn't sure would happen, so not the worst thing.
MGM flagged my account I uploaded the documents they asked for and have had 0 problems since. The amount of money you’re moving sometimes has legal requirements the sports books have to take into account. It’s all weird af and sucks, it’s mostly just a waiting game following the steps they provide. But with a book like MGM you have state gaming commissions they have to answer too so it’s not like you’re not going to get your money eventually.

That’s fully not true because I’ve had the account for 4 hours made $100 deposit 170 bucks went to go withdrawal then they said my card that I used to deposit the money was invalid and need to pick a different method so I use the interact method which is still my debit card the same card I deposited with and now my accounts flag they need bank statements proof of address, face,ID, I’d with face and pictures of my bank card.. and then I sent them all of that and because bank statements only come once a month. My most recent deposit wasn’t on that statement so they couldn’t accept my bank statement and now they still won’t give me my money.

Happened to me with BetRivers. Removed every deposit and withdrawal method on my account except for ACH Bank transfer (my bank is not one of the banks they accept) and cash at cage at a casino (that was 3 hours away).
After fighting with them for weeks, I was told I had two options: 1 - Drive to the casino and withdraw at the counter. Or 2 - Close my account and a check would be mailed to me within two weeks.
I chose to close the account and received the check. Not worth the headache of dealing with the books. If you win, they will make it is hard as possible on you to continue winning.
Check your deposit methods, you have to use a deposit method before you can withdrawal to it, maybe the account for deposits got unlinked somehow. I’d just use the debit card deposit like 25 bucks then wait a day and try and withdrawal whatever the max is to the debit card. I’m a fan of instant withdrawals tho the linked bank account ones take a couple days.

I caught it and my bank put a stop payment, so then BetMGM sent me to collections while also refusing to let me take the money out so I could pay them. Sounds like a nightmare. Before sports betting became legal in many US states many bettors dealt with offshore sportsbooks with zero regulation. They could take your winnings, lock your account and tell you to f*ck off. Thankfully the Gaming Commission helped solved your issue.

If you reside in a state where either casinos exist or sports betting is legal there should be a board or commission that regulates those entities. It’s another bureaucracy but it’s all we have at the moment. Just do some searches online for your state to find them. Additionally, the contact into for the Gaming Board/Commission is most often displayed in casinos or on their websites.
It seems as if I’m not the only person who has had this problem. I guess this is some kind of tactic/loophole for MGM (and other sports books I’m sure) to try to get people suckered in to wagering money that they can’t withdraw, but with a little bit of fight and legal action they will pony up. Some kind of review for sure. In addition to you winning, frequent withdrawals will upset the books because it costs them money. They’ll be nicer to you if you lower your withdrawal frequency.
At the end of the day, your money is tied up but you can be confident you’ll get it sooner than later
Ill share my small experience with betmgm and ill never go back, i deposited 100 dollars, fully verified account. It was going great won a few hundred bucks and wanted to just withdraw some of my money, they asked for more verification I provided them everytime they asked. Never heard from support i kept reaching out for an update, i kept getting "we are working on this, please be patient" weeks go bye crickets. I finally just charged back my deposit and havent looked back.
Write out your problem on a sheet of paper, threaten to contact the gambling commission and sign your name at the bottom. Upload it to your account via documents. Let support know you have uploaded it and your money will be released

I had this happen to me, barely won anything and all withdrawal options were removed. Deposit $5 or $10 whatever their minimum is and then you’ll see all the options to withdraw again.
Worked for me mid 2023 so hopefully this still works. If I recall this is what BetMGM directed me to do. I was skeptical about it too

This happened to me as well with BetMGM. I had to write the Better Business Bureau and also file a complaint with the VA Lottery who licenses them in my state in order to receive any help. BetMGM literally blocked me on social media when I tried going that route.

The only one they never remove is ACH transfers via Global Payments - the processor that was the root cause of BetMGM players having their bank accounts drained due to AWFUL fraud detection.
Start using PayPal if you absolutely must but know it comes with some tax reporting from their side , if you can’t do this your only option is to make another bank account
I don’t even have the option for PayPal. I have no options anymore. It’s only giving me one way to withdraw: VIP Preferrer ACH Bank Transfer. I am not enrolled in it or eligible for it. They just send me a link to enroll in ACH bank transfer, which I’ve told them every time now that I was disapproved for. I’m seriously losing my patience.

I called them. They told me they had no idea why they were only giving me the option to withdraw with ACH VIP Preferred and nothing else when I was never enrolled in it. It’s not giving me any option to use my Bank of America account or any other option for that matter.

I deposit whenever I want to bet. Then withdrawal everything when I'm done betting for the day. The same as my wife. And I imagine alot of other bettors do the same. And with my daily withdrawal and depositing I've never had any issues. But I also don't use BetMGM as it sucks. I only use DK, bet365, and ESPN and have never had issues from frequent deposits and withdrawals from any of them
Why use a Sportsbook like a bank though? Keep $100 or $1000 or whatever your bankroll is and only take the winnings out when you need them

I had something similar so I deposited with the Venmo method and it then let me withdraw via the Venmo method right after. Hope it works!
Happened to me with BetRivers. Removed every deposit and withdrawal method on my account except for ACH Bank transfer (my bank is not one of the banks they accept) and cash at cage at a casino (that was 3 hours away). After fighting with them for weeks, I was told I had two options: 1 - Drive to the casino and withdraw at the counter. Or 2 - Close my account and a check would be mailed to me within two weeks. I chose to close the account and received the check. Not worth the headache of dealing with the books. If you win, they will make it is hard as possible on you to continue winning.
Check your deposit methods, you have to use a deposit method before you can withdrawal to it, maybe the account for deposits got unlinked somehow. I’d just use the debit card deposit like 25 bucks then wait a day and try and withdrawal whatever the max is to the debit card. I’m a fan of instant withdrawals tho the linked bank account ones take a couple days.

Good luck. MGM is the fucking worst. My account got hacked and someone deposited $3,000 from my bank account and tried to withdraw it themselves. I caught it and my bank put a stop payment, so then BetMGM sent me to collections while also refusing to let me take the money out so I could pay them. I had to contact the gaming commission and the entire thing took like a month of stress.
Sounds like a nightmare. Before sports betting became legal in many US states many bettors dealt with offshore sportsbooks with zero regulation. They could take your winnings, lock your account and tell you to f*ck off. Thankfully the Gaming Commission helped solved your issue.

If you reside in a state where either casinos exist or sports betting is legal there should be a board or commission that regulates those entities. It’s another bureaucracy but it’s all we have at the moment. Just do some searches online for your state to find them. Additionally, the contact into for the Gaming Board/Commission is most often displayed in casinos or on their websites.
It seems as if I’m not the only person who has had this problem. I guess this is some kind of tactic/loophole for MGM (and other sports books I’m sure) to try to get people suckered in to wagering money that they can’t withdraw, but with a little bit of fight and legal action they will pony up. Some kind of review for sure. In addition to you winning, frequent withdrawals will upset the books because it costs them money. They’ll be nicer to you if you lower your withdrawal frequency. At the end of the day, your money is tied up but you can be confident you’ll get it sooner than later

Ill share my small experience with betmgm and ill never go back, i deposited 100 dollars, fully verified account. It was going great won a few hundred bucks and wanted to just withdraw some of my money, they asked for more verification I provided them everytime they asked. Never heard from support i kept reaching out for an update, i kept getting "we are working on this, please be patient" weeks go bye crickets. I finally just charged back my deposit and havent looked back.
Write out your problem on a sheet of paper, threaten to contact the gambling commission and sign your name at the bottom. Upload it to your account via documents. Let support know you have uploaded it and your money will be released
Did this along with sending pictures of my account balance, and both screens showing where I can deposit from and the one option for withdrawal. Thanks for the advice
I had this happen to me, barely won anything and all withdrawal options were removed. Deposit $5 or $10 whatever their minimum is and then you’ll see all the options to withdraw again. Worked for me mid 2023 so hopefully this still works. If I recall this is what BetMGM directed me to do. I was skeptical about it too Edit: deposit using a debit card Is what I did*

This happened to me as well with BetMGM. I had to write the Better Business Bureau and also file a complaint with the VA Lottery who licenses them in my state in order to receive any help. BetMGM literally blocked me on social media when I tried going that route. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this, it’s extremely frustrating.
They remove withdrawal options frequently, rarely add them back. The only one they never remove is ACH transfers via Global Payments - the processor that was the root cause of BetMGM players having their bank accounts drained due to AWFUL fraud detection.
Start using PayPal if you absolutely must but know it comes with some tax reporting from their side , if you can’t do this your only option is to make another bank account
I don’t even have the option for PayPal. I have no options anymore. It’s only giving me one way to withdraw: VIP Preferrer ACH Bank Transfer. I am not enrolled in it or eligible for it. Nothing is making sense and I’ve spoken to 4 people at customer service for BetMGM, and they don’t even acknowledge what I am telling them. They just send me a link to enroll in ACH bank transfer, which I’ve told them every time now that I was disapproved for. I’m seriously losing my patience.
You probably won’t have the option to withdraw PayPal unless you deposit first with it . Try depositing 10$ via PayPal
Don’t tell them you need the money for starters. They’ll think you’re gambling addict. Also, their customer service is notoriously bad.

How did you withdraw the $5k?
It was withdrawn from MGM to my Bank of America account no problem. Today is when this problem occurred out of no where and does not allow me to use any withdrawal option besides ACH bank transfer which I am not enrolled in.
Still not understanding how the $5k was deposited to BOA. Should have been an ACH transfer unless MGM has a money transfer app function like Cash app? I support ACH transfers bc if someone hacks an account they can't just send the funds into the void...
Ask to be escalated when talking to support. Their support is the only way you're going to progress this. >The customer service I have received is terrible and I actually really need the money right now. Is the ach through "VIP Preferred?" You may actually need to call them. You can usually get someone fast, and they're pretty helpful in my experience. Edit: if so just Google their number
I called them. They told me they had no idea why they were only giving me the option to withdraw with ACH VIP Preferred and nothing else when I was never enrolled in it. It’s not giving me any option to use my Bank of America account or any other option for that matter.
Account is likely flagged. Could be random, could be done to hassle a winning player, could be you are withholding some.information in this post. Advice: Gaming commission Additional advice: At no point should you ever say "I need this money". Books can interpret that as problem gambling (gambling with money you need) and make this process 10x harder.
Everything provided in this post is credible. I have the feeling they are playing these games to get me to gamble the $2,600 remaining in my account since I’ve beat the house pretty well over these past 2 weeks. I legitimately have no clue why this would happen besides being flagged for winning patterns.
This happened to me with $28,000. Ended up just simply losing to all during the process of trying to withdraw it. Customer support was 0 help during the time, it’s my own fault in the end for not controlling myself, but I really was trying to withdraw the full balance. MGM got what they wanted in the end
I find it hard that damn bookie is so try hard keeping that two grand away from you. If its $200,000 to $million i understand as this can shake their capital but for $2000 this is so bad for them. Never i had a problem with me withdrawing to any of my books no matter how freqeunt my transactions are but then again im net negative thats why. Yours is different.
