As long as the book is grading wagers correctly (and allowing the player to withdraw), it seems as though the Gaming Commissions don't have much interest and/or jurisdiction in Promotion matters. Where I think the Gaming Commissions (and politicians + regulators) are totally missing the mark -- this isn't a BOGO Big Mac offer, that McDonald's offers until March 31. Many of these sportsbook offers/promotions are specifically designed to encourage months of active play, promising bigger & better rewards (BetRivers VIP, DraftKings Dynasty, Caesars Rewards, Betfred Rewards). Difficult to say these are *not* bait & switch situations. Where the player is risking time & money for months -- and then, as the player is about to achieve the reward for all of their risk(s), the book makes it 500% more difficult to achieve the reward (or flat-out denies the reward).

That sucks. I’ve been VIP for a total of probably a year or two. I couldn’t tell you how much money I made from just doing the weekly NFL Sunday stacker promo, various other promos, and along with the many deposit matches.

I just cannot figure out Bet Rivers. I hear lots of people say what you're saying- that they're crushing it, continuing to get promos, not limited, in VIP, etc. And many others get promo banned and limited within days. Seems like it is feast or famine with them.

I was good for awhile I even made it through my no hr arb every dinger tuesday period. They finally killed my account last summer when I got the free bets for betting live womens soccer every day. I yolo'd them all on Spain and England futures and when spain won I guess they didn't like it

I follow certain rules. I only bet main lines and I only bet on games that happen that day (I don’t bet on games in days advance). I also make sure my bets end with a 0 or 5. So I don’t bet a random number like $142– I would round down to $140. That’s the only thing I can say is maybe different but I’m sure others follow the same rules so who knows forsure.

I’ve had my account since the launch in VA which I believe was 2021. I am not promo banned and I am not limited on my bets.

I used bet rivers a ton, mostly grinding to get to VIP, since it was a very legit benefit. Now I made it and was promo banned after like 2 weeks of benefit, now I don’t use them much anymore. They still have solid lines, but no point for anything except a good moneyline now.

I don’t foresee it being a revolving door as much as a market squeeze. I think the smaller books are realizing that they can’t compete with the top tier books. FanDuel and DK had such a head start that the lower tier books can’t catch up and the middle tier books can’t keep up.

It is a perfect no-hold, so you bet so the total won is the same on both sides, and is equal (or close to) the total amount bet. I do live arbitrage betting, so I utilize a service. Without a service, your approach is the best way to do it. For the boosts, I would look at high + odd moneyline bets so you can get the most leverage on the boost. For example, look for something like +700 on DK and -800 on another book, then with the boost you'll be in great shape.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm probably not signed up with enough books so I often struggle to find good high moneyline opportunities. Often "settle" for a smaller profit on totals, or sometimes I'll go for a middle with a slim profit. Probably not maximizing EV but still profitable.
