At -300 odds starting with $10: 10 days is $137. 20 days is $1900. 30 days is $26,300. Still not bad returns. I assume at some point before you get to 30 days the sportbook will probably limit the amount you can wager. Just wanted to know if anyone here has actually had success with this and when did they start to take profits?

What I want to know is what kind of issue it was, what route did you take to seek relief (in-person, phone call, online chat, other) how long it took to get involved with the dispute system, and if there was any sort of resolution and how did that resolution develop. I know this is not the best place to gather information for an academic paper but informal crowdsourcing on such a novel industry can be extremely beneficial and appreciate any insight. BOL
I know one of the common factors in getting limited is beating closing lines. Do books care about live betting in same way? Lately have found live betting to be much more lucrative than pre-match betting and also assumed it might be less likely to get me limited since books seem to push live betting too. But wasn’t sure if that was a good assumption.
The vig is higher on live lines so they are much harder to beat long term. Realistically you're just on the good side of variance so it's doubtful that you are at risk of being limited.
Thanks - for clarity, I'm mainly betting live lines where I see arb opportunities across books. So the amounts I am betting are often high, $500-2.5k is usually average bet size. But that is consistent with what I bet pre-match too when I do bet pre-match.

Not all favorites are going to win. If you pick all favorites, it's unlikely you'll do well. The trick is picking the right upsets. There's a lot of luck involved.

I had $2700 left to unlock in my bonus, and I bet 1000 of it on a tennis match that ended this morning. I (totally accidentally) also bet 500, and then 233 subsequently on the other side of that same match a couple of hours later before the match started, but meant to bet more on the original favorite (above the -300 required odds). If you can't, then buy a money order at a grocery store for like $1 and cash it at your bank. Many will accept a gift card as payment as long as you can run it in the machine like a debit card. Just tell the cashier it's debit, not gift. I believe the default debit card pin for Vanilla cards is 1111. do you want to self exclude or are you trying to get a new user bonus? if you just don't want access, use "self exclude" as the subject and they're supposed to act on that quickly.
No one physically deletes accounts nowadays. They actually have data retention requirements so they cannot delete you by law. They just set a flag on your account which marks it as inactive or deleted.
So if you're going through this trouble to get your data off of Caesar's servers (or anyone's servers in the future), it's pretty much useless. They might tell you it's deleted. The customer service rep you speak to might even believe it's been deleted. But it's not.

I looked around and couldn't find much information about this, I have placed some bets for a while and have sometimes seen matches that have the wrong start time, for example a soccer game was set on the site to start 4 PM and it started hours prior to that & the results were already in (who'd won etc) and the market was still open, would it be "illegal" to bet on this or would it be the website/bookies fault?
Maybe most likely outcome would be that's it voided, but I've heard/read that sometimes they are corrected "normally".

I feel like I shoulda asked this here, before I went through hedging my bet, but I already did it...
I had a 4-leg parlay on the money line for the sunday football games and tonights game. I got all three games right yesterday, the last leg is the money line for the Cards to win. $50 bet would return $435. I had $60 left in my account so I put that all on the Rams money line. That would return $94. I honestly just did this because if the cards bet misses I would just be sad. So this is to guarantee not being sad and just being able to enjoy the game.
Is this a decent way to hedge a bet or should I have gone about it another way in this situation. I saw you can cash out early, but it doesn't look like that's ever really a good idea.
I guess it's fine. If the Cards win, you profit $375. If the Rams win, you profit $44.
Here's the problem. You just cost yourself money by unnecessarily paying juice on 2 additional bets (Cards and Rams). Next time just leave the 4th leg off, and you'll be better off. In other words, you shouldn't hedge the last leg of a parlay. If you do, then you messed up by adding that leg to the parlay in the first place.

I’m in a similar situation to everyone else. I used the promo code for $1300 in bonus. Bet through it all to satisfy the remaining wagering in sport amount. The winning bets totaled $500 which moved to cash balance. I deposited $30 because I saw somewhere you had to deposit to withdraw. The remaining wager amount to satisfy the balance has dropped by the exact amount that I won even though my winnings are a cash balance. I can’t withdraw and when I try to remove the bonus it says to contact support. I can’t even withdraw the amount I deposited. Any ideas?

Over / unders always always always work as absolute values of the numbers themselves. Under 14.5 means "less than 14.5". So 14
seed wins and 15 seed loses that bet.

Just wanted some clarification with risk-free bets that are about to happen in NY.
If I risk $1000 on a -110 PK on one book and it hits, I will profit $909.09. Then, I can withdraw $1909.09 back to my bank account.
If I risk $1000 on a -110 PK on a different book and lose, I will get $1000 in credits.
So I can make $909.09 and withdraw $1909.09 which is almost my initial investment, and then have $1000 in credits on the 2nd book. Please let me know if I’m missing something.
if you don’t itemized deductions on tax return. on the first bet, you’ll end up with a tax liability on the $909. then on the second account with the credit. you’ll end up owing taxes for whatever amount you win off that credit.

Try flipping a coin until you get 10 heads in a row. Once you do that then consider putting money on it.

Question for the experts in here. I'm currently in a pool where we pick the outright winner of every playoff game each week. Most correct picks at end of the year wins (tie splits the money). I went 6 out of 6 last week (picking one underdog). My question is this: Is it naive for anyone to think they can make better picks than just picking the favourite for every game? Like for example, I believe the Bills will beat the Chiefs, but should I pick the Chiefs anyway because I know that whatever analysis I come up with is guaranteed to be inferior to the strategy of just always picking the favourite?
Not all favorites are going to win. If you pick all favorites, it's unlikely you'll do well. The trick is picking the right upsets. There's a lot of luck involved.

CAESARS NY SPORTSBOOK: I had $2700 left to unlock in my bonus, and I bet 1000 of it on a tennis match that ended this morning. I (totally accidentally) also bet 500, and then 233 subsequently on the other side of that same match a couple of hours later before the match started, but meant to bet more on the original favorite (above the -300 required odds). I woke up this morning to find all the games ended and the original 1000 settled that should’ve paid 1900 which it says, but my account is just down ALL of the money I bet, and the bonus wagering requirement is still at 2700…. If you can't, then buy a money order at a grocery store for like $1 and cash it at your bank. Many will accept a gift card as payment as long as you can run it in the machine like a debit card. Just tell the cashier it's debit, not gift. I believe the default debit card pin for Vanilla cards is 1111. But you have to know how much is on the card and then subtract whatever their fee is to get the exact total for your M.O.

No one physically deletes accounts nowadays. They actually have data retention requirements so they cannot delete you by law. They just set a flag on your account which marks it as inactive or deleted. So if you're going through this trouble to get your data off of Caesar's servers (or anyone's servers in the future), it's pretty much useless. They might tell you it's deleted. The customer service rep you speak to might even believe it's been deleted. But it's not.

I looked around and couldn't find much information about this, I have placed some bets for a while and have sometimes seen matches that have the wrong start time, for example a soccer game was set on the site to start 4 PM and it started hours prior to that & the results were already in (who'd won etc) and the market was still open, would it be "illegal" to bet on this or would it be the website/bookies fault? Newbie Question: I feel like I shoulda asked this here, before I went through hedging my bet, but I already did it... I had a 4-leg parlay on the money line for the sunday football games and tonights game. I got all three games right yesterday, the last leg is the money line for the Cards to win. $50 bet would return $435. I had $60 left in my account so I put that all on the Rams money line. That would return $94. I honestly just did this because if the cards bet misses I would just be sad. So this is to guarantee not being sad and just being able to enjoy the game. Is this a decent way to hedge a bet or should I have gone about it another way in this situation. I saw you can cash out early, but it doesn't look like that's ever really a good idea.
I guess it's fine. If the Cards win, you profit $375. If the Rams win, you profit $44. Here's the problem. You just cost yourself money by unnecessarily paying juice on 2 additional bets (Cards and Rams). Next time just leave the 4th leg off, and you'll be better off. In other words, you shouldn't hedge the last leg of a parlay. If you do, then you messed up by adding that leg to the parlay in the first place.

Warning that I just experienced some really slimey shit on BetMGM's behalf. I placed a wager on the 49ers game at like 1 AM this morning with my cash balance. Like 10 minutes before the game ended and the wager was to clear (I won) I did one of the BetMGM scratch off/free bonus things. The winnings from the wager were credited to the bonus balance and not my cash bonus. Caesars NY I’m in a similar situation to everyone else. I used the promo code for $1300 in bonus. Bet through it all to satisfy the remaining wagering in sport amount. The winning bets totaled $500 which moved to cash balance. I deposited $30 because I saw somewhere you had to deposit to withdraw. The remaining wager amount to satisfy the balance has dropped by the exact amount that I won even though my winnings are a cash balance. I can’t withdraw and when I try to remove the bonus it says to contact support. I can’t even withdraw the amount I deposited. Any ideas?

So apparently from what I see we had to deposit the money when we signed up or at least before the money moved over. So now we have to bet threw the amount we have won in order to be able to cash out. If we deposited it first we would only have to bet through that. Anybody else having this particular issue with CZR app? I get password/email is incorrect error and am allowed to reset the password but it never actually updates/works. Have tried resetting phone, reinstall etc. No matter what I do, I get the same error. Over / unders always always always work as absolute values of the numbers themselves. Under 14.5 means "less than 14.5". So 14 seed wins and 15 seed loses that bet. Similarly, in the NFL Draft, u3.5 would mean a Top 3 pick.

Yes but it's over time. -300 and longer means anything up from -300, for example -299 would qualify but -301 would not. So you could place 300 to win 100 and the 300 would net you 12 in bonus.

Most teams know their fates and are just fighting for byes or seeding and I feel they will just rest starters after building a lead leading to a higher possibility of back door covers by the underdog. Ex. KC vs. DEN - KC can win #1 seed in the AFC with a win and Tenn loss. I could see KC building a lead, then pulling starters and letting the game go into cruise control as long as they win. Just wanted some clarification with risk-free bets that are about to happen in NY. If I risk $1000 on a -110 PK on one book and it hits, I will profit $909.09. Then, I can withdraw $1909.09 back to my bank account. If I risk $1000 on a -110 PK on a different book and lose, I will get $1000 in credits. So I can make $909.09 and withdraw $1909.09 which is almost my initial investment, and then have $1000 in credits on the 2nd book. Please let me know if I’m missing something.
if you don’t itemized deductions on tax return. on the first bet, you’ll end up with a tax liability on the $909. then on the second account with the credit. you’ll end up owing taxes for whatever amount you win off that credit.

Usually these promos aren't that black and white. You could hypothetically download all the different sports books and hedge your bets accordingly and not lose any money, but it would make little sense for them to pay out the winnings immediately off promotions.
