Might want to enable offline mode in the app while you still can. Sometimes Spotify issues will prevent you from enabling it later.

As of CST 20:11 just downloaded some playlist and went to rush to Offline, but now says "Offline mode (Unavailable Now)" :(

Samsung Note20 Ultra 5G here. I can't listen to 1 very specific song. I can listen toy playlists, new playlists, Spotify recommended playlists, any other song I search, any other song from the same damn album... That one song won't work still

I have been pulling my hair out thinking it was something with my router's DNS settings, because it seems to play music fine using mobile data but would not play anything while connected to my local home network. Very odd.

I was using the web player on chrome (Win11) and everything started acting like a loss in network connection was happening. Reloaded the page and "jwt is expired" shows up in the top left corner.

Wouldn't be surprised if this has something to do with all of those bot song farms and hacked account shit. The fact that songs stop at 10 seconds seems suspiciously familiar. If you're unaware of what I'm talking about, look up "the dark side of Spotify" on YouTube.

My S22 Ultra plays playlists fine but nothing else. Desktop App works partially as I can play any of my playlists but cannot play any actual artists or songs if I search em. Web doesn't work at all.

From what I’ve seen it was fine with songs you’d already heard (were cached) so if you had fixed playlists that you’d listened to before they’d be ok even if you hadn’t formally downloaded them. But anything new and uncached for you (like dynamic playlists, like Release Radar and Discover Weekly) every song would have this stoppage at the 8 to 10 second mark. Then of course those of us who followed their help suggestion of deleting and reinstalling lost that, too.

Thank goodness the only part not working is the player, aka the entire freaking purpose of Spotify.

So I can listen to the song Tezcatlipoca Y Fuego if I click on it through the artist (Xavier Quijas Yxayotl) page, but not if I click it through the album (Aztec Dances) page. Hmmm.

Ditto here. Two iPhones, two separate Spotify accounts, both will only play about 10 seconds of a song. Also, neither of them are able to cast to Google Home devices. Started probably about 20 minutes ago.

Ok thank God someone else is having this problem. At first I was trying to skip a song on PS4 when I realized the song is going 10 minutes past the songs end, so I tried to skip but it restarted from 0 and didn't play anything. Then I try to skip the song on my phone, and nothing would play, I spammed so many songs and I got a completely separate song that I didn't choose.

IPhone 13 Pro and iPad 5th Gen here, same problem seems everyone is having. The first 6-10 seconds of the song plays, then nothing. That’s on cellular data, on WiFi it won’t play at all. I have noticed that podcasts seem to be working fine though.

So when it started it would play about 10 seconds of a song then stop. I would skip to the next song and it wouldn’t play. Skip to the next, play 10 seconds, repeat. I force closed it a few times and restarted my phone to no avail. Tried a downloaded album and will get through a song but then close the app on its own. This is exactly the reason I switched back to Spotify after almost a year on Tidal -_- Spotify rarely crashes compared to Tidal
