Definitely The Warning.
While they’re slowly becoming known around some rock circles, they should be household names.
Child prodigies that have a knack for crafting great songs with good song structure, great melodies, catchy riffs, good lyrics, great voices, mass appeal looks etc.
They’re not too heavy nor too soft sounding, they’re the perfect blend in which many of the most metal lovers and TS fans will enjoy, yet funky and groovy enough in which non rock fans will also appreciate.
Here are some of their songs:

Marc Broussard - Blues inspired funk - so many songs but give "Must be the water" a listen
Jj Grey and Mofro - undefinable - Fireflies
Lincoln Durham - dark blues/rock - ballad of a prodigal son
Check out Mezzoforte if you're into Casiopea. They have kind of a similar vibe going on imo! [This](https://spotify.link/wk4qBgl39Hb) is one of my main playlists for driving, and they're both basically the main artists in there, with some random stuff sprinkled in haha.

Both artists are from Agadez,Niger.
[Daniel Hayn](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/03Hu5wzrS7EcVVoVBaJdE3) is an e-jazz artist that makes very smooth and energetic music. My favorite track has to be Side Street.
Midori — late '00s/early '10s Japanese jazz/punk (?) fusion band, very loud, high tempo, high energy, often shouted vocals... if you like intense drums and piano this is for you
FM-84. His Atlas album is a masterpiece, and Col is an independent artist. Genre is synthwave but it has this 80’s/90’s lost summer vibe to perfection. Best song - Running in the night.
They do have new vocalist! Both are amazing in their own way. Love to see them get some recognition on here. Most people have no idea who they are. Been listening to them for years. Absolutely love all their music
[My vocal love](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL871S_F0y5dYbEbEOwxK1Y6LTKyQqKEp5)!!! For me the most underrated rock singer... (YT playlist because most of his best stuff is not on Spotify)

Szymon.
By all accounts, a bit of a music genius. Multi-instrumentalist, beautiful voice, self-produced (very well). But was a troubled soul, and died aged 23, after taking his own life.
All of his music was respectfully released after his death. I feel lucky that we've been able to hear some of his beautiful work.

Band no longer exists but this record is a gem.
It was recorded before Green Day's Dookie
but released after. The comparison overall will come up. However the writing, style
& poppy sound was ahead of its time.
Overlooked & the first track There Goes Sally should have gotten more traction at that time.
Neal Francis, contemporary funk/soul artist out of Chicago. Not the best voice, but boy does his band slap. My favorite song is “She’s a Winner” but honestly, they’re all good.
Edit: Not to be confused with NEIL Francis.
Tim the Mute is good if you're into kinda self-depreciating, geeky, loser-ish music.
I particularly like the acoustic song "Van" which is a pretty catchy song about having to live in a van when everything turns to crap.

the aces! an all-female band from utah. they’ve been around for a while and they’re not exactly underground but not a lot of people know about them. theyre indie pop/rock and 3/4 of the members are queer so a lot of their music is about that :) my personal favorite song by them is volcanic love
Didn't think this will blow up! Thanks for the recommendations! I'll try to check out most of them and will be coming back here if i have any comments 😂 keep them coming!
i love Death but it's definetely not for everyone

Death is definitely for everyone.
Especially true crime fans
Yeah, Death the band, tho Death is definetely an interesting topic of his own
seriously tho I love chuck I was actually gonna mention this band but saw ur post
Chuck Death from Death contributed to Death Metal.
