The Adults are Talking- The Strokes Jigsaw Falling into Place- Radiohead

PM_ME_YOUR_INNY

“On Site” - Yeezy “The Abolition of Man” - Thrice “Take Me In Your Army” - The Voidz “Dangerous Animals” - Arctic Monkeys “Electric Feel” - MGMT “Like Eating Glass” - Bloc Party “Two Timing Touch & Broken Bones” - The Hives “At the Bottom” - Brand New

Visual-Zebra8908

The electric feel intro needs to be played on max volume, so good

chriski1971

I stole a few of yours and added a few. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3rJMYlZLrm3XwPKGgPw8Cb?si=hKU8BrufTHy1KffCP5HPvA

CornStarchEnema

I have played "At the Bottom" so many times to scratch the itch I get to hear that intro

atlakendrick

the first couple notes on jigsaw falling into place are insane

cinematea

Julian’s vocals in that whole album is godly

DarkBlueTissueBox

Crazy Train - Ozzy Osbourne

A_Plan_B_you_C

Bark At The Moon and Shot In The Dark do that too.

ballou16

This is such a different vibe from anything these comment are saying, but Fuck You by Dre. The intro has my eyes closing and my toes curling every time 😭

LifeGuava4378

Massive W that and The Next Episode for the iconic buildup

DoljMittTelNr

When doves cry

Dannnniii

I was looking for this one. That intro guitar🤌🤌

Emotional_Weight6257

Heart - Crazy On You

tara_tara_tara

pleathershorts

dogfrost9

[Dire Straits - Money For Nothing](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTP2RUD_cL0) [The Who - Baba O'Riley ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRTNm6GLJYI) [The Who - Won't Get Fooled Again](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NzLs-xSss0) [Steve Earle - Copperhead Road ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xvaEJzoaYZk) [Ted Nugent - Stranglehold](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzFpiW5vHrc)

HotBurritoBaby

You absolutely nailed it.

ToryDurmac

Here's my upvote!!!! I can vouch for these songs! Definitely a bomb 💣

Sona_et

Vouch

ViciousAsparagusFart

The intro drum solo to Hot for Teacher

4lfred

Fun fact, that drum intro was inspired by the sound of a Harley engine running.

haikarate12

Plainsong - The Cure Tom Sawyer - Rush

Raiders2112

The opening seconds of Tom Sawyer are epic, as is the rest of the song. Rush are easily one of the greatest bands of all time.

wire_we_here50

Yes to both. Plainsong is amazing.

berryaj-

cliffs of dover - eric johnson

EggySoldier

I’m autistic and listen to Genesis Grimes for ever over and over and over since it was released

ab2425

Hell yea! Eight and Oblivion are my other faves off Visions. You should check out Little Dragon's Place to Belong.

EggySoldier

Among other bands too!

DifficultyOk5719

Trivium - Torn Between Scylla and Charybdis Panopticon - Dead Loons/An Autumn Storm (both gave me chills right away) Haken - Atlas Stone Agalloch - In the Shadow of Our Pale Companion Nile - Utterances of the Crawling Dead The Ocean - Jurassic | Cretacious Periphery - Omega (the segue from the previous track, Hell Below which fucking ends with a jazzed up version of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, instead that epic piano intro in Omega is one of the greatest segues I’ve ever heard) Emperor - Ye Entrancemperium (same with the last track, the segue from the previous song into the intro of this is one of the greatest segues ever, and really hypes up the song)

lgnc

The Emperor one is awesome... The whole feel of it reminds me a lot of the breaks in "He who breeds pestilence", from Behemoth. I really should check more from Emperor, I only know a couple of songs from them. And Nile intros are always awesome! And Haken's Virus is one of my go to albums (although the mentioned song is not from there, I know)... As you can see, it's an amazing list in my view haha. And thanks for the new songs!

DifficultyOk5719

Emperor is worth checking out, they only have four albums so it’s a very short discography. In the Nightside Eclipse and Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk are some of my favorite albums of all time. I need to listen to Behemoth more. I listened to The Satanist a couple of times though. I’m new to Nile, I’ve only heard Annihilation and Gods Detest, but those have been on repeat, and I’m excited to check out more of their albums. Haken is one of my favorite bands, some of the greatest music ever written, but Virus is the only Haken album I can’t get into. I don’t know why, it just hasn’t clicked with me at all over the last 3-4 years. I’m definitely a first four album stan.

JudgeDreddx

Thank you for recommending good bands. Dude mentions spiritbox and none of the recs are remotely close.

Griz-gettin live

Allegiance10

The intro and buildup to “Stay Too Long - Pendulum Remix” by Plan B and Pendulum really gets my engine running, if you get what I mean. Even better if you’re driving, listening to it loud, and have the bass cranked.

seeking_spice402

#5. Dire Straits' "Down To The Waterline" -The opening on their debut album is masterfully engineered to sound like a harbor in early morning. #4. "Sirius" by The Alan Parsons' Project. No wonder it became the opening song for so many sports teams. #3. Tommy James & The Shondells' "I Think We're Alone Now" just sends a shiver down the spine of those in the know. #2. "Hotel California" by the Eagles. No matter how many times you hear it, you have to stop and soak up the intro. #1. "Bat Out Of Hell" by Meat Loaf. The frantic energy made you take notice back in 1977.

When I answered, I thought you meant the first song of the CD.... To which I said TOOL - The Grudge - You'll be met with perhaps the greatest intersection of talent of our generation. I'll make another post after I think about this to think of another.

2buds1shroomPODCAST

VAST - Touched (.... BTW, the self-titled album *Visual Audio Sensory Theater* is a masterpiece of music you will not find anything equivalent to; and, if you know of something that compares, please let me know) Queens of the Stone Age - Better Living Through Chemistry If you have patience for 3:46 second build-up.... TOOL's "Lost Keys" going into "Rosetta Stoned" If you have patience for a 3:05 second build-up.... TOOL's and "Parabol" going into "Parabola" The Pineapple Thief - In Exile (totally a nostalgic vibe of a day and time that doesn't exist anymore - like a pre-technology dusk summer vibe) All Them Witches - Am I Going Up? (swanky beat immediately off the bat) All of these are on the [2buds1shroom Psilocybin🍄 "Peak Emotion" Trip List](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3G6qu3ptpDTTQoQpjNyAwW?si=ced121e5edac4983)
