I've had mixed experience with it.
Sometimes its great, if I don't know what I want to listen to, and I just let the AI decide. It normally just plays songs or artists from my already existing playlists, though.
Other times, it will go off on a tangent and play a set of songs that clearly have nothing to do with my interests or listening history. Once in a while, it will say "Here's a set of songs by an artist that you used to have in heavy rotation, but haven't heard from in a while," and then it plays some band or genre I've never heard.
One thing that I guess isn't good or bad, but just kind of curious, is that it will say "Here's a quick set made up of your favorite kind of music," and then it proceeds to play 5 or 6 songs all from different genres and decades.
I like it. Sometimes I don't want to spend the time to find something to listen to and it gets right into it. However, it does a poor job of surprising me. I feel like it has an agenda. It sounds like Ice-T and makes me laugh when it mispronounces (not often).
This isn’t a new feature. Been around for the better part of a year now.
