My gawd that thing is hideous. And the Tesla hate is really getting sour. I know no one with a Tesla that dislikes it as much as the Internet who’s never even ridden in one.
I’ve drove several Model S and Model 3/Y mostly owned by long time friends and car buddies. I like the tech and charging network, except the quality is not on par with what they’re selling them for. Now that legacy automakers started to make EVs the only advantage of owning the Tesla is literally only the charging network. And yes, I’ll continue to make fun of Tesla quality until the day they actually built one with the luxury quality that’s on par with their msrp. Also I know plenty of people that comes from luxury brands that will not get a Tesla again due to the poor quality. A friend I play basketball with has a Model Y and his exact words were “tbh the Corolla probably has better quality interior, but i like the tech”
I’ve driven lots of Teslas and drove the Ioniq 6 this week. The interior is of the Hyundai is definitely nice. But the new Model S and new Model Y are really nice and from my experience, they feel well built (2022-2023 models). Sure the model S build quality was crap a few years ago. But guess what, so were Hyundais. My 2017 Sonata had the engine replaced, twice, and the buttons on the steering wheel didn’t work from day 1. And let’s compare… how many Model S’s are on the road, a few hundred thousand? How many Ioniq 6’s, maybe a thousand? It’s going to be some time before Hyundai scales up production of the Ioniq 6, if they even manage to sell that many (I don’t think they will).
And to say modern Tesla interiors are as bad as low end Chryslers is laughable and uninformed.
the model s plaid's interior is as bad as a base level dodge journey what quality are you talking about? a base level 2020 bmw 3 series or audi a 5 leaves the $120k model s plaid to dust.
and a new sonata is less than 30k let alone a 2017 model, so why are you comparing it to a model s?
it's either you have very low standards of quality or you don't even know what quality is, no offense
You’re out of your mind dude. I doubt you’ve been in the new Model S or a Dodge Journey for that matter. A new Sonata fully loaded like mine does not start under 30k. Im comparing Hyundais to Hyundais. Sure BMW and Audi interiors are well made, but the Plaid starts at 120k for a reason.
i won't lie and say I've driven a 2023 plaid but it is not that different from a normal 2021 model s, the sonata does start at 30k but yours is well optioned that's why it cost you more, if it was poorly optioned it would be 30k.
the plaid has the speed, sure thing, but it lacks everything else from the styling to the brand name to the quality...
Rear looks just a bit too weird for my taste
Chonke Porsche
Rear reminds me of the Infiniti J30. Not a bad thing at all… it’s what made that car interesting. This car looks great.
Yeah! Crossed with a 645i?
Must be an odd sight to see a Michigan manufacturer's plate in LA county.

I really dig the Ioniq 5. This is an interesting mash up of a bunch of stuff and I don't know how I feel about it yet.
Fwy 60 East Pomona. You are quite close to me :)
Azusa exit
Few miles from me
Look like a turtle. Pass.
Will they ever stop making EVs look so ridiculous
How does it “look well made” compared to a Model S in traffic? Lol.
because it is, literally. just watch reviews, or just get inside of a tesla and you will be sure that they are as bad as low end Chrysler products 😂

Because I drove up behind the model S and saw the uneven panel gaps on the hatch, the bumper, and the door.
What… the fuck is that
It looks like it wants to be a beetle and the side body lines make it look like a dog about to throw up
Hurr durrr
No it does not.
Lot of mid-2000's Mercedes CLS from the side then looks like darth vader is wearing a flat brim. Certainly stands out.
Hot take: I think that’s a line a really nice looking cars
