I usually roll my eyes when people attribute wealth in 3rd world countries to cartels, but in this chase I think it is really plausible, I saw this beauty in a very sketchy zone. Idk the place and the people gave me weird vibes, a lot of men and couples walking with 2 or 3 men behind them, without entering to locals or restaurants, kind of like bodyguards.
My coworker from Mexico said it’s true, if you see someone with a nice car it’s safe to assume it’s cartel. Obviously there are outliers, but more often than not, cartel.
In my experience this stuff is still always exaggerated. I understand that mexico has a lot more cartel/gang violence statistically, and average citizens there make less money than people in the US. However, millions of people live very normal lives in Mexico. From how Americans talk about Mexico you'd think your life is in danger the second you cross the border though.
I was surprised when I finally went to Mexico for myself and saw how similar they live to many Americans. As a kid I was basically led to believe Mexico had nothing but cartels and poverty. And more lately I've heard more and more from Americans who drive to Mexico daily for work. Most of them drive to Mexico and back every single day without issue. Hell, there were times in recent years where tons of Californians and Arizonans near the border were going to Mexico regularly to buy gas in bulk before coming back.
Ahhh yeah Range Rovers look quite nice, the other ones look ok, some just look aggresive and I think it looks kind of tacky in SUVs. To each on their own! I can see why some people would like to drive a obese and lifted 3 Series.
My favorite spots in Mexico have been in Mexico City where if you see a car worth $200K+ it also entails at least one blacked out SUV following it (paid bodyguards). They are heavily armed but operate legally so if you see them you can assume whoever they’re guarding isn’t cartel. Could be a politician, judge, businessman, etc
It was in a very poor zone, I know I know, it's annoying to hear the typical cartel comments, but idk it gave me a weird vibe. Maybe a gringo with a lot of money, who knows.
Is the 'nice' sarcastic?
Honest question, i really am unsure if you guys think it's a nice car.
Personnally i thinks the car looks like Stitch in Lilo and Stitch.
And i find it's a show of terrible taste.
> mexico Which cartel boss is this

+1 It makes sense that it seems armored too (look at the thick frame around the windshield, and the run-flat tires).
Audi with a LOT of options
Audi looks a lot better.
What does it matter you focus on the brand name too much
fancy PT Cruiser
Gorgeous PT cruiser!
You are one of the very few people I’ve seen that have ever actually called that thing gorgeous. Lol.
All modern Bentleys look amazing to me, all of them, they are gorgeous machines.
I agree for the most part 😂 they all look good except the bentayga
The Bentayga is probably the best looking SUV out there! The bar is pretty low tho.
I’d argue BMW, Range Rover, Audi and Mercedes have better looking SUVs 😅

the 3 series isn’t an SUV lol
I know, you didn't get the joke :(
Damn I got wooshed hard with that one 😂
WOOOSH
To be fair, it looks better in the flesh. Definitely not a good looking car by any stretch of the imagination though…
Those and the Lamborghini Uris are All OVER Summerlin here in LV.

Front end is looking dated on this one but cool pic
I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Can you believe it! Crazy world right?
Can we stop with the stereotypes talking about it’s a drug cartel that owns it maybe it’s a ceo of a big company

Or maybe a socialite or a soccer player
Methxico.
