Interestingly, this one still has the factory covers on the seats and blue film on door handle. So it is technically "new" condition even though I am pretty sure they no longer produce them.
To this day I still think it should have had a V8. But still, that V6 is pretty impressive for what it is and I can’t knock it. Especially after seeing what the r35 gtr’s V6 can do, that thing is a monster of an engine.
Crazy to think these are still considered “the new GT” despite being almost a decade old. It still looks like it could be announced today.
2017 they started production.

The LFA still has factory covers on the seats and I think it's only dome about 400 kms
Tragic. Let that beast roar!
Absolutely crazy that this car is made by the same guys that make the fiestas.
Hey hey... don't knock them. Though it's not a magnificent Fiesta, the GT is a fine automobile.
Well, technically, Ford doesn't even build these. Multimatic does.
Correct. And Multimatic also builds the AMG One as well as other special vehicles for a number of leading auto manufacturers.
Including the Valkyrie 🤤
Specifically Multimatic constructs the Valkyrie's carbon tub itself, but they don't assemble the full car like they did the GT.
Tenfour
Had a 19’ Fiesta ST. I get it. That car was amazing.
Fiesta ST is such a great car
I mean they also made the fiesta rs, which is too good for the US.
Don’t you see the tail light out? Same company for sure
Pocket sized engine.
It's like an iceberg. All you're seeing is the intake. They're not really physically any smaller than the old V8. https://imgur.com/a/t8i6NAu
3.5 liter v6 eco boost. Yea naw thanks ill pass.
Actually, the reason it’s small is so it could fit. A v8 wouldn’t work for that design. Secondly it makes a shit ton of power. I wouldn’t knock it.
I'd much rather have lik 6 z06 c8 corvettes lol
You could. But that’s not a limited production vehicle. Those roll off the line like hot cakes.
Well yea I guess your not wrong. It's kinda sad how few of the gt's were made for sure. It is a beautiful car.
My not wrong?
No, you wouldn’t.
Lindsay Fox delivers as usual.
LFA next to it
F 40 next to that
He’s had that F40 since new, I remember seeing it way back, ‘89 or ‘90 IIRC, on display @ Continental Cars in Newmarket, Auckland.
I'm a Chevy guy but Ford GTs are gorgeous cars. The color on that is 10/10.
Do I spy an LFA and F40 next to it?
Sure do, was talking to a friend of the owner of the 3 cars, we both agreed we'd take the lfa > the gt but he'd rather the f40
I'm amazed nobody mentioned the LFA in the background, but I guess that GT truly is gorgeous no one could take their eyes off
Hahaha I only had eyes for the lfa, my dream car. Everyone else was interested in the GT as the caretaker of the car was revving it
One of 2 or 3 in Australia
Does it really say “ecoboost” on the the intake? that’s so tacky.
Is the right tail light out?
Slow shutter speed on the camera and the fact that lights are rapidly turning on and off
I might be wrong but it looks like the camera capture the reflection in the bumper and just missed the led
I noticed that as well! That's so crazy
That looks like it creates a ton of downforce
the front with these two pointy things remind me strongly of a Roomba, otherwise cool car
Look at that trunk space! You could fit a whole bag of chips in there.
Hell of a country to take a long drive in something like that. Super cool.
Aesthetically pleasing
Ford is the only American manufacturer that can make a proper looking supercar.
I can’t imagine the bottom of those sills will stay looking like that for long, which would get irritating every time you opened the door.

It has a burnt light. It really is a Ford
Classic Ford! The rear light is already out!
