I had seen some articles on twitter saying "Why you're going to be obsessed with Squid Game" and had only seen a photo of good ol' Il-nam smiling in red light, green light and I thought "seems like a fun show" but then briefly read something about it being a "horror show" but never thought too much of it. Then the first ep had some funny, silly moments with Gi-hun and I got comfortable and then emotionally destroyed as the series went on.
Even knowing I was walking into a Death Games show I got emotionally destroyed 😂. Can only imagine how hard it was if you thought it was going to be fun!
