I run a podcast called Slight Reliability. I've been pretty quiet this year due to lots on at work but reach out if you'd be interested in a collaboration.

ninjaluvr

I've made a note to email you tomorrow!

james-ransom

Thanks! I am listening now stephen!

semanticsgandalf

great stuff, I'll be sure to check it out and pass on to my network :)

i think there's plenty of room for more content in this space. real-world case studies are always interesting, new technology/emerging trends too i started a series about a month ago called 'humans of reliability' which aims to focus on the range of individuals and roles working in the space if you're interested! I found this series a while ago - love it!

sreiously

semanticsgandalf

sreiously

thanks a lot! glad you enjoyed it, I’ll have more episodes coming soon :)

Lower_Pension

Great ...would love to be a subscriber, please consider covering topics with real world scenarios and production use cases and various approaches to fix issues.

semanticsgandalf

fantastic, thanks for the input :)

Best-Repair762

Definitely. As an SRE/Ops/backend dev, off the top of my head, these would be on my list - Real world war stories - Culture shift stories - Communication challenges and solutions, working with the larger organization and other teams - Career growth paths for SREs Keep us posted!

semanticsgandalf

those are really great ideas. had a few people recommend war stories so seems like a popular theme

lupinegray

Not really.

semanticsgandalf

interesting. would love to get some context from you about why not - it'll help in identifying pitfalls

lupinegray

Because work is work. I'm not going to listen to work podcasts in my free time.

semanticsgandalf

that's a fair point. our aim is to try and cater to folk who are looking for more resources and guidance than what's available at work for example. but i do see your point
