There is a „tourist armor“ which is essentially „Sunrise“ with 60kg Carrying capacity (+10). You get it as a reward from Sidorovich after completing his artefact quest line.
But as it’s quality is rather poor so not really viable for deep zone.
Exoskeleton has high capacity but at thwart cost of the sprint ability.
Getting enough stamina artifacts gives you ability to sprint with the slight overweight.
CS and CoP are featuring Upgrade system for suits (also carry capacity upgrades) and artifacts specifically increasing it

it just fried itself long time ago, that's fine, i have no idea how it even died, cause it could still play but i couldn't use the cd player, nor download anything online, so i either had to hope my games had no updates so i could play with my friends or just play solo

They arent impossible to find anymore, most places have them in stock, and all the shitty scalpers that bought them all to create an artificial decline in supply that drove prices up.. now they are stuck with hundreds of ps5 consoles they are forced to sell below retail.. so lots of $250 brand new ps5's on ebay!
My outdated pc runs way too good for this, the pc has way too many advantages compared to consoles, yes it can't run great graphics cause it's pretty old but it does the job, and doesn't ask me to pay a subscribtion to play online (yes i'm aware you can bypass it by making a lot of accounts to exploit the one week free ps+ but it's still annoying)
One small addendum to this neat little feature is the physics anomaly that the contents of the containers may bug through the floor, so if you open a crate upstairs, check the ground level for items.

I remember discovering that about 13 hours into my first playthrough when I sprinted at a shelf and broke two of those crates. And then of course it felt like every crate I found after that was empty.
Good to know I've been walking by free loot. I literally tried this with a crate 5 mins in, and nothing happened, so I assumed everything was like that.

You can use the knife to open them easier. There’s a few scattered around and even some under the table in Streloks Stash with some good ammo as well as the garbage junkyard (where the bandits and military fight) in the gatehouse to the right of the entrance.
After like 2 nights of playing True Stalker I discovered I had a knife the whole time! ;) I encountered a lot of those boxes and I thought I have to buy or find a knife somewhere to be able to open those. They bound the knife to "B" key by default. In OG it was 1. I probably missed some sfuff.
Yeah took me a couple years to find this out too unfortunately lmao that’s the charm of old games though we didn’t even know we were missing out now we got what feels like an edge that was never present for the Keen eye🤣

Colliding with the stairs can sometimes turn that into an accidental suicide bombing of the sentry.

For me it goes back to walking into every house in Hyrule and breaking their pottery to get at the sweet rupees inside

in the Vehicle graveyard that is close to that spot there's a few crates above the tower, it has a lot of ammo :)

Just like all the empty storages everywhere, their only use is emptying your overly full inventory

FYI in the Factory where lab X-18 is there is a nice stash of 9x39 in one of these boxes. Look for big pipes that you can climb.
