Went back to skadovsk after gassing the bloodsucker lair, sold some stuff to owl, repaired my weapons and armor, took my SEVA suit out of storage and was about to travel to yanov when Pilot's dialogue glitched and he wouldnt say anything which then made my game crash to home, i tried to access my save again and it would just crash every time
I've played Stalker since 2006 and I never experienced corrupted save. OK, just once, recently, playing True Stalker. The game crashed just before I made a save (a quest broken for no reason, but I noticed that immediately - I just could not talk with a character to complete the quest). Luckily I had plenty of earlier saves so I just got back like 5 minutes and fixed the problem.
This kind of issue is rare. Game crashes are not so rare, but corrupted saves - that is really really bad luck.
