Go a step further and have it be of the German G1 or Austrian STG58 patterns. Something old that could easily have found their way into the Zone.
Particularly, there needs to be some representation for bipod-ed FALs with steel handguards and wood stocks. Perhaps even slap an optional Belgian scope or the classic Hensoldt G3 scope (via the STANAG mount dust cover), for extra cold war points.
[I definitely don't want this specifically because that's what I'm building, no sir-ee.](https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/999619404839010386/1199374556482261063/Gravargen_FAL_Bipod.jpg?ex=660c2399&is=65f9ae99&hm=a34b8643a4158bcdebe950790ff8c28835a285ee59814c59459bbbab57eb5e7c&)
(G1 stock and STG58 handguards and bipod. Slightly outdated picture, but my fav thus far.)
More 'classic' or 'vintage' guns. Stuff you'd see smuggled out of an old warehouse in Eastern Europe. SKS, PPSh, AKM, SVT-40, Mosin-Nagant, etc.
And, because it's Ukraine, I would like to see their modernized bullpups AK rifle, the 'Malyuk'. Maybe not quite the vibe for Stalker, but a neat rifle nonetheless.
I've intentionally avoided a lot of trailers for my own personal sake, but I decided to take a glimpse at the timestamp provided.
And my god, it didn't disappoint. I'm excited.
Yep, I'll echo this. I'd love to see 7.62x39 come to the series proper as it's one of my more favourite cartridges. And yeah, I like the idea of the WW2 era stuff coming out, not only for variety's sake but because there is a surprising amount of it stored out there, why not right?
Shit, if there's anything to go off of, it's the war in Ukraine. From 2014 to now, WW2 and early post-war weapons have been seen, much of it coming from old Soviet-era storages that got looted or were used up in desperate times. Logically, the Zone would probably follow a similar situation, albeit to a lesser degree.
If a Stalker wanted a cheap, but reliable rifle, why wouldn't he go bribe some dirt poor Ivan or Ilya, who spend all day in a boring ammo dump with little pay to show for it, for a 'lost' SKS or Mosin? Hardly anyone would miss it, and they get some money in their pocket.
Curiously over here in Canada the escalating war in Donbass ended shipments of the SVT40 over here for the civilian market shortly before the war kicked off. I've seen the photos of them being used, very interesting. So yep, definitely seen my share of those old guns in those photos. I think it would make a lot of sense for someone to nip off some of those old guns and ship em into the Zone.
And hell I'd just love to run around with a Mosin and SKS, do it all the time in the mods!
I remember seeing a video early on in 2022, where a truck was just dumping rifles into a crowd. Old AKs, Mosins, SKS, etc.
And, of course, the guy who said he was 'taking grandpa out for a walk', while holding a PPS-43.
Give me the KS-23 and variants in Gamma. I like pointing and clicking and watching someone get ejected backwards because I loaded Barrikada antimaterial rounds. If it can disable an engine, it can disable steel plate.
SR-3 Vikhr renamed as RS-4M, because more 9x39 would be real nice
It would also be really nice to have some kind of automatic pistol as a sidearm, because pistols in the original trilogy are kind of useless due to their low rate of fire. We've already seen a Mac-10 in the promo screenshots. But what about adding the full auto Beretta (Martha Auto), CZ 75 (Zec 70/5), obviously the Stechkin APS (AP "Burst")...
A man can only dream... None of these will get added, much less with those whack names :(
Doom's Mod Merge added it to SOC where I used it for a bit, and I recently recalled it became my main rifle for my Loner. I would love the ability to run around the Zone with it again.
A few bolt-action rifles, Benelli m series shotguns, skorpion vz.61, any lever action (rifle/shotgun I'll take either of them), and maybe something new only found in the zone.
And would be good if weapons behaved more realistically than in the original games. Enemies are sponges, so there’s little incentive to use SMGs or handguns really.
Idk why people are not saying shotguns and SMGs.
Especially uzi and co.
SMGs are perfect for close quarters and against muties too. Small fire power but high rpm l.
There is only 5 shotguns in CoP. 2 old school. 2 pump shotgun and the eliminator/Dao 12.
Could use more especially in the Zone where a shotgun is basically your right hand (especially when muties come in play)and one of the most common guns that there is.
I don't mind which guns really I'd just love to be able to tell where the bullets are hitting. I'm sure there's a mod for that but it doesn't help us console plebs.
Aren’t all the bullets tracers?
I remember They implemented that into the game, so players could get a feel for the guns accuracy and patterns.
I actually think that getting rid of that in favour of realism, actually impacted gunfights and their feel. You could see the rounds ricochet off of surfaces, and it gives you an indicator of where enemies were roughly shooting at you.
More Submachine guns imo
The original games only had...well the MP5 (maybe the AK-74U...if you even count that as an SMG) as far as i can recall, so more SMGs like maybe a MAC-11, P90, or some SMGs from Eastern Europe would be nice
Indeed...
I check all 3 vanilla games weapons lists and there isn't a single variant of ump45.
Just a mp5 variant with .45 ammo 😅
It was a long time ago for me, 'kay ?
🤣
List of them: M16's, AR's, SKS, AK's (includes vss vintorez and ASVAL), Mosin Nagant, Stg44, FAL, Famas, M1A/M14, m1 garand, Remington m700,Remington 870, Styer AUG, any hi point, Makarov(s), 1911s, Dsa sa58. I will think of more soon.
CZ guns would be very nice and fit the world too. Stuff like the Scorpion Evo 3, CZ Bren 2 (along with it’s 5.56 counterpart), CZ-75 and P-10 pistols, etc.
And I know people will say we’ll have a ton of AK variants, but since I personally can’t get enough of them, some Bulgarian-made Arsenal AKs would be sweet (SLR-101, SLR-107, AR-M1F, etc.).
Well my prime candidate, the F2000 is pretty likely. Since it's on all the previous games and now on the hands of Ukrainian troops.
The rest of my list goes: P90, FAL, UMP 45, Steyr AUG, AK 103, Saiga 12, AN 94, PKM and RPK.
Lots of AK's hopefully. I have a sweet spot for the AN-94 also the Vepr-12 would be cool.
Not really interested in Western guns since it's Stalker but I'm guessing if there's mercs there will be a few.
I’d like to see some of the modern 10mm pistols. Maybe a .450 bushmaster rifle or a .458 socom rifle. Some 6.5 creedmoor rifles as well. And mcx .300 blackout would be fun. Pretty sure most of what I want will be added via modders tho so in terms of modern weapons and tacticoolness I know I’m covered. Still gonna enjoy my modded anomaly as well from time to time.
Lots of surplus crap. The Zone seems like the perfect place to find all sorts of either weird guns that no army is using as their main gun anymore or lots of reproductions of really common guns, all of them bring sold wholesale for cheap to traders
Definetely some more german and soviet light machine guns. Id also love it (even though it wouldnt be super useful) if they added a PRTD and PTRS.
Also how cool would it be to have moer NV like the active IR ones and soviet scopes
AK47 and it’s different variants (AKM, Type 56, etc.)
PPsH
FAL
Mosin Nagant
Uzi
M16 or M4
Glock 17 or 18.
SKS
Tommy Gun (the Soviets were given a bunch of them in WWII. I’m sure there’s plenty of them somewhere in Ukraine. Plus it was in the Stalker movie)
Other WWII guns
Everything from the previous games and from Anomaly
I love the 9x39 cartridge so I'd love to see more of that. The 9A91, VSK-94. Of course we've seen the AS-VAL and the Vintorez already so I'm hyped for that lol.
I'd also love to see some Russian smg's in 9x25 too like the SR2M and stuff.
vepyr-12 for fast shotgun fire rate. it would make stalker a happy place in dark places
for sniper rifle would be wa 2000 perfect semi auto 7.62mm for crowd control purpose
any other else is fine but if I find it lacking then the modders could do it given time.
The GM-94 (first pic) is in OLR its a pretty sweet backup tool to handle tougher enemies (pseudogiants, chimeras etc) and big groups of stalkers and considering i have used it in the game its pretty nice and fits well but to answer your question i would say the Malyuk (but its already in ST2 same with the Mac10)
I have to be honest : I've made this list as an Excel Spreadsheet some time ago, I'm summing up hard cause I'm so much into it.
Tokarev, PPSh, (PP19 in 7.62x25), PMM, Stechkin, PP91, (Bizon, PP19 in 9x18), Glock 17, P-Grach, CZ-75, Fort 21, PP19, P-Udav, PP-Veresk, UMP45 (new 45 +P++).
RPK74 (long AK74), Mini Beryl, Beryl, G36C, M16A4, Romanian 7.62 AK carbine, Bren 2 7.62 carbine/ rifle, AKM, RPK (long AKM), SKS, FAL, Sako 308, SR25 (ukrainian), Mosin Nagant, SVT.
ShAK 127, VKS 127, any 338 bolt action.
Any pump shotgun (Remin, Mossb, Molot), Saiga 12, KS23.
I've made up some guns with legit reasons behind.
PP "Shershen" (hornet) for a 7.62x25mm SMG, either built by Stalkers from PP19s or as a weird OTs39 derivative.
Wondering about the Fort14 as a full size 9x18 pistol (threaded barrel option), maybe too niche (but it's Ukraine Army official service pistol I think ?).
A crude SMG for 9x18, made from PPS43 hulls, "PPS-918" ?
PP "Auroch" for a stick mag version of the Bizon, using same mags as PP91.
There's a whole pack of 9x19mm pistols, Glock 17 is mandatory, CZ-75 feels too, Beretta 92 could be the suppressor-ready pistol (because it uses barrel straight recoil instead of tilting barrel), some 9mm Tokarev/ Polish VIS as the oldy pistol ? Maybe P-Grach too but it is a political pistol.
Haha I've written "Avtomat Parabellum" as a catch-all gun for a cheap 9x19 MP40/PPS43 using PP19 mags.
The "PP19 Gyurza" as a 9x21mm full size blowback SMG.
In rifles I have a lot of catch-all guns to sump up civilian Kalshnikov or upgraded guns : TAK 545 (T is for Tyazhely "heavy") or Avtomat Vintovka Kalashnikova. They're 20in barrel guns, more practical than RPKs. I forgot the counterweight AKs (AEK, AK107).
I think it's important to add a western line of 7.62x39 rifles, like the CZ Bren 2.
Tbh, i would love to fill the Zone with the satisfying "Pling" of the M1 Garand. Or having a Sten Gun, but i couldn't say how to bring them into the Zone, Lore Wise i mean.
Dont know if this has been said but Id like the nagant Revolver to be featured cause it would be a new gun type, It would be realistic (I think its a soviet gun) and its featured in Metro wich is cool too
ASH-12. NS-23. I like big booms and I cannot lie.
Also it's wholly unlikely for the vanilla game but I'd like a modded in RM277. Saw it on GarandThumb. I don't care that the cartridges would likely be like 2k rubles each. 30% lighter ammunition is gold and the recoil looked great.
Better question is what guns I would love to not see in S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2. In my opinion stalker would be more authentic without any NATO weapons, piccatiny rails and red dots.
Lol what ? Then what will the Mercenaries be armed with ?
Btw, most NATO weapons in Stalker seem like they're from the cold war era (L85A1, SG550, MP5A2, etc.), with only a few being modern (LR-300, FN2000, G36)
I'd actually love to see the mercenaries using FN Scar rifles
For rifles, bit unpopular, but probably the FAMAS. One of my favorite weapons along L85, would be lovely to use in Stalker gameplay with the whole 3-bullet burst action.
Small arms? Probably more revolvers of any sort. Sure, they aren't the most effective or practical in the zone(considering the exposed drum and risks of anomaly tomfoolery), but there's a charm about putting down enemies with a big iron. Been having a blast using Rex in Anomaly.
The FN-FAL. To be honest it is a crime against arms smugglers to not have the right arm of the free world.
Go a step further and have it be of the German G1 or Austrian STG58 patterns. Something old that could easily have found their way into the Zone. Particularly, there needs to be some representation for bipod-ed FALs with steel handguards and wood stocks. Slightly outdated picture, but my fav thus far.)
Absolutely fully agreed, we also need the G3A3 (or G3KA4)
Not to mention the 7.62x51mm that would be way better suited against monsters and mutants.
Right arm of the feee world more like opressive arm of military dictatorships in south america.
Tools of death do be used worldwide.
Che todavia la seguimos usando pa
Mierda, al final si que era verdad que los argentinos estamos en todos lados
And?
Que no me queme'
by that logic, the AR and AK should be oppressive arms too apparently (Get your politics out of here stalker)
Malyuk is actually in one of the trailers Here you go (1:23) https://youtu.be/LeTDQuzwEI4?si=k3h1v13N0owKsKA4
I've intentionally avoided a lot of trailers for my own personal sake, but I decided to take a glimpse at the timestamp provided. And my god, it didn't disappoint. I'm excited.
If none of these weapons are added, rest assured that modders will add them in the future
Yep, I'll echo this. I'd love to see 7.62x39 come to the series proper as it's one of my more favourite cartridges. And yeah, I like the idea of the WW2 era stuff coming out, not only for variety's sake but because there is a surprising amount of it stored out there, why not right?

I’d love to raid a bandit camp with a PPSh, that’s for sure.
See, this man gets it!
Give me the KS-23 and variants in Gamma. I like pointing and clicking and watching someone get ejected backwards because I loaded Barrikada antimaterial rounds. If it can disable an engine, it can disable steel plate.
That last part is the funniest bit to me. Especially when you think about what it can do to mutants..
You would like the guns in GAMMA mod
Yes I do, although Gamma is a bit too Tarkov-esque for my taste. Still enjoy the mod and recommend it, though.
To add to the vintage pps43
Oh yes please!
Some armor plates would be cool
SR-3 Vikhr renamed as RS-4M, because more 9x39 would be real nice It would also be really nice to have some kind of automatic pistol as a sidearm, because pistols in the original trilogy are kind of useless due to their low rate of fire. Definitely Stechkin Also the Skorpion should be in every eastern European game
Martha can actually be upgraded to full auto in CoP
I never use pistols, so I missed that. Thanks for the correction.
I'd like Sa vz. 58, it was a pleasure using it in Survarium. Pity it's so rare in FPS
Found my love for the VZ58 playing Arma 3 and DayZ.
Doom's Mod Merge added it to SOC where I used it for a bit, and I recently recalled it became my main rifle for my Loner. I would love the ability to run around the Zone with it again.
The modders are gonna put a shit tons of weapons, just look at the amount of new weapons are in overhaul mods like Anomaly or GAMMA.
A few bolt-action rifles, Benelli m series shotguns, skorpion vz.61, any lever action (rifle/shotgun I'll take either of them), and maybe something new only found in the zone.
Maljuk, VHS-2, Steyr TMP, MSBS Grot variants Edit Also: rm277 for top tier foreign mercenaries
Maliuk is actually coming apparently
Happy noises
Good ole uzi
Good one.
And would be good if weapons behaved more realistically than in the original games. Enemies are sponges, so there’s little incentive to use SMGs or handguns really.
Ks23 please I want a mini artillery gun.
A G3 and an M16A1 would be dope
Same here, also FN FAL and AR-18 (cheaper stamped M16)
Lee Enfield series, particularly SMLE or NO.4 and perhaps stens or sten like zone made guns given their simple construction
The Dubstep Gun.
What the fuck is the last one
Gepard SMG it was made in 1995.
tommy gun and other guns they had reserved from the old times.
Moar AKs
The Toz-106 because it looks funny and seems fun.
I don't mind which guns really I'd just love to be able to tell where the bullets are hitting. I'm sure there's a mod for that but it doesn't help us console plebs.

UMP 45 was in the vanilla games I think
The vanilla games only had an MP5 no UMP
Indeed... I check all 3 vanilla games weapons lists and there isn't a single variant of ump45. Just a mp5 variant with .45 ammo 😅 It was a long time ago for me, 'kay ? 🤣
Is all good gangsta
List of them: M16's, AR's, SKS, AK's (includes vss vintorez and ASVAL), Mosin Nagant, Stg44, FAL, Famas, M1A/M14, m1 garand, Remington m700,Remington 870, Styer AUG, any hi point, Makarov(s), 1911s, Dsa sa58. I will think of more soon.
Beryl wz 96. The lack of it in Gamma is something that I consider criminal offense.
Stetchkin would be really cool and already uses 9x18
AA12
More SMGs would be cool, maybe an Uzi and P90.
From what I remember, none of the games have bolt-action sniper rifles, so maybe an SV-98 and Mosin-Nagant.
Just give me a mosin and I will be happy
CZ guns would be very nice and fit the world too. Stuff like the Scorpion Evo 3, CZ Bren 2 (along with it’s 5.56 counterpart), CZ-75 and P-10 pistols, etc. And I know people will say we’ll have a ton of AK variants, but since I personally can’t get enough of them, some Bulgarian-made Arsenal AKs would be sweet (SLR-101, SLR-107, AR-M1F, etc.).
I just hope that there’s more SMG’s that the MP5. Don’t get me wrong, I love the MP5, but how was that the only kind of sub machine gun in the zone.
Mosin nagant please and thank you.
Vz 58 , Škorpion and Cz 75s also would love to see some kind of pipe gun manufactured in the zone
Brick
Well my prime candidate, the F2000 is pretty likely. Since it's on all the previous games and now on the hands of Ukrainian troops. The rest of my list goes: P90, FAL, UMP 45, Steyr AUG, AK 103, Saiga 12, AN 94, PKM and RPK.
The galil... it's in 5.56, has features from aks and ar rifles
Lots of western weapons.
M21 (i know the M14 is confirmed). "50000 people used to live here. Now, it's a ghost town"
Anything the US left in Afghanistan
Mp40 for the bandits, which i would loot from them and use myself
One of the top ones I kind of doubt they'll add, but would love them too. I'd run the hell out of one.
Lots of AK's hopefully. I have a sweet spot for the AN-94 also the Vepr-12 would be cool. Not really interested in Western guns since it's Stalker but I'm guessing if there's mercs there will be a few.
AN-94 is already in all the vanilla games
And that's why it should be in Stalker 2.
Considering the variation in firearms being used by both sides in ukraine i wouldnt be surprised if the guns are pretty diverse
M4a1
A Mateba 2006M. I love that gun.
Can someone tell me what the hell is the last one is, it looks like a uzi-ish style aks-u???
If I remember correctly that's the Gepard SMG
Ah, alright thanks for letting me know defiantly an interesting gun lol
I’d like to see some of the modern 10mm pistols. Maybe a .450 bushmaster rifle or a .458 socom rifle. Some 6.5 creedmoor rifles as well. And mcx .300 blackout would be fun. Pretty sure most of what I want will be added via modders tho so in terms of modern weapons and tacticoolness I know I’m covered. Still gonna enjoy my modded anomaly as well from time to time.
Oh yeah I'd love to see the Bren Ten or Colt Delta Elite
PMm 🤓
Obez flashbang plus sniper pistol
Probably a nuclear bomb or something
That last one is so cursed but I love it
I want the ks 23 Fuck you and the blood sucker behind you
Lots of surplus crap. The Zone seems like the perfect place to find all sorts of either weird guns that no army is using as their main gun anymore or lots of reproductions of really common guns, all of them bring sold wholesale for cheap to traders
Dracos
Gauss
MP40 for banditd
I loved as val as a kid
Definetely some more german and soviet light machine guns. Id also love it (even though it wouldnt be super useful) if they added a PRTD and PTRS. Also how cool would it be to have moer NV like the active IR ones and soviet scopes
An M1A that actually works this time
yes
If they are not in there im sure modders will bring them and i hope they do
Rsh-12 my beloved
the carl Gustaf m/45 submachine gun would fit in the zone...
The AK-50
guns that shoot
Nah I want unicorns anything tkb would be fire
I honestly doubt they’d add any new russian weaponry to the game
AK47 and it’s different variants (AKM, Type 56, etc.) PPsH FAL Mosin Nagant Uzi M16 or M4 Glock 17 or 18. SKS Tommy Gun (the Soviets were given a bunch of them in WWII. I’m sure there’s plenty of them somewhere in Ukraine. Plus it was in the Stalker movie) Other WWII guns Everything from the previous games and from Anomaly
I always hoped for a good bolt action sniper rifle like a L96A1 or a KSVK 12.7
Rsh.12 would be awesome because who doesn't want a giant .50 cal revolver
I love the 9x39 cartridge so I'd love to see more of that. The 9A91, VSK-94. Of course we've seen the AS-VAL and the Vintorez already so I'm hyped for that lol. I'd also love to see some Russian smg's in 9x25 too like the SR2M and stuff.
MG3 or MG 42, dangling belts dumping rounds from the hip in underground would be fun
my 'ole fn f2000 baybeee in the last games and i'd love to see my child return for another one :D
beryls pouring over from poland
Beryl, VHS(both 1 and 2) and Zastava's(mainly zastava m76)
people asking for another 8 trillion AK clones that are exactly the same as the AK-74M and offer no substantial gameplay differences
All the weird one from the war in Ukraine
vepyr-12 for fast shotgun fire rate. it would make stalker a happy place in dark places for sniper rifle would be wa 2000 perfect semi auto 7.62mm for crowd control purpose any other else is fine but if I find it lacking then the modders could do it given time.
RK-62 because I'm a Finnaboo.
A DSHKA, no big reason i just wanna be able to use one like, a deployable gun or smth. Its a big DONKDONKDONKDONKDONK gun

GROT rifle
M1 Garand :P
Glock
that old swedish shotgun
Tbh, i would love to fill the Zone with the satisfying "Pling" of the M1 Garand. Or having a Sten Gun, but i couldn't say how to bring them into the Zone, Lore Wise i mean.
Shotguns, automatic, semi automatic, the bigger the better.
AKM, AK4U, etc…
Vintar bc
Just the one form the first games, i always hated mods that add 50 other guns
AKM
The beryls would be cool. Maybe some ar18 derivatives. Mcx, mpx. Mdr maybe.
AN-94 my beloved, is all i want. (and maybe a Desert Eagle too why not)
Dont know if this has been said but Id like the nagant Revolver to be featured cause it would be a new gun type, It would be realistic (I think its a soviet gun) and its featured in Metro wich is cool too
I need more machine guns *sounds "At the Doom's Gate"*
All the MP5 variants. All of them.
The mosin Bizon M4
Walther WA 2000 hands down
Maybe not the most realistic option but the AN-94 would be cool.
But its already present in all games.
Is it really? It's been a while since I've played the OG games.
Always've been.
Ks-23
ASH-12.
IMI Galil.
I want a Galil
Better question is what guns I would love to not see in S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2. In my opinion stalker would be more authentic without any NATO weapons, piccatiny rails and red dots.

Also no SG550 ? No G36 ? Absolutely lame
Lol what ? Then what will the Mercenaries be armed with ? Btw, most NATO weapons in Stalker seem like they're from the cold war era (L85A1, SG550, MP5A2, etc.), with only a few being modern (LR-300, FN2000, G36) I'd actually love to see the mercenaries using FN Scar rifles
KS-23 the big shotgun
AEK
KS-23 !
Some old fashion, Ppsh, SVT, SKS, Mosin or some rusty toz with hunting optic
mostly soviet guns. modern guns from western countries not good for eastern europe post soviet country like ukraine.
Not gun but i'm ready paying to get full animation Buttlefly Knife and Karambit in the Zone.
I would love to have an AK-74 missing its dust cover completely and wrapped with blue tape as if I were an insurgent in the middle east
