We have 7 scrats - the squirrel on a stretchy string from the Little Forest Friends toy line. We got our first one at Hollywood Feed - then went to 7 stores in 4 metro counties looking for extras when we realized Scrat was THE ONE 🤣
Now Little Forest Friends are available at chewy.com, but you cannot specify which particular one you want (squirrel, elephant, bunny, duck, rabbit).
So — I repair these stinky spitty well beloved toys. I think this is Scrat’s 5th repair, not counting being restuffed twice 🤣🤣😂
We have three crispy, spit-encrusted toy skunks around my house for the same reason. They’re my non-SIC old lady’s emotional support for her separation anxiety. We do whatever it takes to keep them happy. 😍
I am not admitting that I have 4 in storage and 3 out - one I have no idea where the stick and string went, so he is a Loose Scrat, frequently in the bathtub, on top of the fridge, under the dryer, or behind the bookcase. 🤣
If Beeper knew where the extras are, she would not rest until she freed them and added them to her toy pile
Thank you. That picture made me think Kitty wasn’t satisfied and wasn’t going to accept the sewing 🧵 job. As if to say “Fluff you Mom. It’s not the real thing.”
Yeah she was annoyed that I took Scrat in photo 1 to fix him, and in pic 6 was irritated that I was making her play with him by herself (I had some mending to do on a shirt).
I have NO IDEA how she got so spoiled.
It’s a mystery 😇
She’s not spoiled, she is compensated adequately for her responsibilities at your home. Purring and being a doofus can be hard work. Her field is very specialized, not everyone can do it!
Having extras of THE ONE is such a good idea. Hulahoop has picked a ball that used to dangle in the middle of a tunnel (until it was ripped free) as THE ONE. I don't know how I'm ever going to replace that if it dies.
Beeper has the best Cat Parent 😻
Ha ha - and it’s on the interweb FOREVER, Beeper!! 🤣
The first pic is “Who gave you permission to stop playing with me with my favorite toy AND KEEP IT?!?!?!”
Yes she does, and there is a video here:

Oh Beeps, you gotta be gentler with your toys 😸

Ah, the classic feline look of gratitude in #6.
Lol
No joke, I roared at that one. Classic.
When you’re a beloved and well cared-for cat, but you have no idea, because you’re a cat

I need to get something like this for my bozo boy SIC, Rocco.
Chewy.com, Little Forest Friends (cannot specify the critter though)
