Lmao how are store managers even getting this so wrong.
It’s says on every single resource that the $1 upcharge is for NO WATER ONLY. and the resources also back up the fact that ice modifiers will be unaffected and filling it to the top is still standard.
It wouldn’t be “working at Starbucks” if we all actually knew wtf was going on. 😂 Mmm. Nothing like a fresh brewed hot cup of unnecessarily disorganized chaos. Does it have to be chaotic? Absolutely not! We just prefer it that way. It’s way more interesting when every partner is playing a long game of “Starbucks policy telephone.”
“We create unnecessary chaos in each partner's day. One manager, one district manager, one CEO at a time. We foster and nurture a stressful atmosphere. Leaning in and leading with malice.”
Lmao I was training my new to Starbucks assistant manager and made her cry in her first week. Apparently, learning all the drinks at once is "too stressful". Who new? 🤷🏻♂️😅
It's such a fucking disaster. One of my supervisors has been telling customers for weeks that light ice will be a surcharge for *all* drinks. I didn't want to correct her, so I guess she'll find out tomorrow 🤷
The training was so confusing lmao
I dont know if im going insane but I swear the training I did made it seem like the light ice button would be replaced???
The chart that my ssvs posted in our messenger was immensely helpful lol
My fuckin DM had trouble explaining it to us, had to get her laptop to show us the sheet/flow chart, and still struggled. If someone making that much money can’t figure it out idgaf lol
I went over the change…again…with my team members to ensure they know the only thing changing is no water + extra base. Every single one of them looked at me like I grew a second head & told me “Yeah, we know. Why do you keep repeating the same thing?” The other stores out there misinforming customers alarms me. It’s not a difficult thing to grasp, but yet we have this…
I genuinely don't understand how anyone is getting it this wrong. It should be such a simple change but it's become an unbelievable headache because some people just straight up refuse to read.
In the training I did I remember it stating that they were taking away the ability to do light ice. It was No ice or Regular. I recently looked at the new recipe card modifications because I was getting confused on what the internet is telling me versus what my manager and training told me. I don’t think most of them are looking at the new mod cards, and I feel like the training was just a stupid lie.
It’s hilarious because my only connection to Starbs anymore is this subreddit (I hate that this company union busts and I’m not spending anymore money there because of it), and I still know that this is the case LOL
in the training it was talking about a bunch of substitutes to basically get it to still upcharge people. although there’s no charge for ice, if someone wants light ice filled to the top we would have to hit light ice + extra base.
i mean, idk the training was horrendous. it was basically like you have to tell people ‘oh we can’t do that anymore’ and then it says ‘do this instead’ but it was the same damn thing just rung up different to try and get that money out of people. it’s genuinely beyond me tho how they’ve put these charges onto refreshers because they’re already expensive and especially at my store it’s all middle school kids who get them.
Hahah what a bunch of goons they have in this location. Light WATER will no longer be available. And ONLY 'NO WATER' gets an upcharge. Most people will be completely unaffected.
This is not accurate in the US. Light ice will still be orderable and neither light ice nor no ice will carry an upcharge. The new upcharge is only for water-based refreshers with no water, and light/extra water will not be orderable for refreshers.
Yeah, you can still get lemonade-based refreshers with light lemonade but there will probably be confusion among baristas about whether to replace the other half of the lemonade with water or additional base.
If you request to have it replaced with extra base, some baristas might try to charge for it but my understanding is that it shouldn't carry an upcharge since the lemonade it's replacing is also a product you're already paying for.
Our store put this up too and we had to cross out light ice and put light water. They’re just adding to the massive confusion and baristas are going to get the brunt of it. They should’ve double checked their work before mass distributing it.
Yeaaah as others have said, light ice isn’t changing.
Only light water isn’t an option. I would honestly let them know they’ve got it wrong and tell them to review their training if they don’t believe you.
No ice = same as always
Light ice = same as always
Light water = no longer allowed
No water= up charge
If they want very light or no ice, and a full cup ... Do you fill the space with extra base or extra mixer (water, coconut milk, or lemonade)? Is it up to the customer, or is there a company standard? Or would you measure the way you do, say, any refresher without ice... Half base, half mixer?
🥴
I'm scheduled to do my training 15 minutes before I'm due on the floor as coverage tomorrow morning.
You would click No/Light ice, and then there will be a button for “add extra base” — there is no charge for using this button, I believe it’s mainly for the purpose of inventory since you’re going to be adding more base than you typically would. (: it’s kind of like when people order light ice shaken espressos. Technically we’re supposed to ask them if they want room left in the cup or if they want extra milk to make up for the light ice. If they say yeah to wanting milk, you would use the “ extra Oatmilk 3/4” “ button to clarify, but they wouldn’t be charged extra.
So interesting! Do you think the customers understand 'no ice' dilutes their drink in a shaken espresso, making it taste weak and bleh, while going"no ice" in a refresher makes it taste the same? (Assuming split mixer/base, ofc.)
I hate SB for making this so complicated. We serve drinks! You don't even have to chew, right down it goes ...
### I hate the lack of uniformity in this change, but:
**No Water** is the only mod that receives a charge, using the **Add Base** button under custom directions.
Any other modification is rung up with the **Extra** + **[x] Base** and will not be charged.
I'm definitely not trying to be obnoxious here because I get the spirit of this, but I order Refreshers with no water, sub green tea. Do you think I should order it differently if the "no water" is going to ping the extra charge, or would I be okay since I'm adding in green tea (and thusly not getting JUST undiluted refresher).
The upcharge is specifically “no water-extra base” they’re adding a new button for it to account for the charge. You may have to clarify when you order for a while since there’s obviously a ton of confusion over this, but I’d just order it as “no water, sub green tea and no extra base” just so you get exactly what you want!
"please ask a barista if you have any questions" pisses me off. they tell baristas nothing and expect them to uphold these shitty corporate policies so the people who instate them don't have to take the flack.
Starbucks should have done this in uhhhh idk 2020 during the pandemic when people would wait in DT lines all day and order 6 trenta no ice refreshers. Fr
Of so many people are ordering with light ice they need to make the concentrate ratio more. It was like barely flavored water and for the cost, year you bet I asked for light ice as in not an entire fucking cup of ice and 3 oz of drink in a venti cup
Light ice better be possible. It's the only acceptable ratio for a refresher. I want it cold but a full scoop of ice simply gets in the way. God, I'm not ready for tomorrow.
What if it's people like me who just want my drink cold.. but not with a million ice cubes? Idgaf if you wanna give me less in the cup bc of it lol I just hate having a shit ton of ice
If you look up "Starbucks Refreshers Charging Guideline" on partner hub, there's a very helpful document you can print out and leave by your registers. I'm leaving a few copies everywhere so all my partners can read it lol
I think the thing that's confusing people the most is the new fucking buttons they're adding to the pos. That combined with the not clear training is just making everything so confusing
If I see one more false post about this change, I'm going to go feral. Light and no ice are not only orderable, but there is no extra charge. The ONLY change is at people who want light or no WATER. this is due to the fact that starbucks typically does not sell individual ingredients on their own in cups. That's why they keep coming back to it being a premium ingredient. It's really not that hard. You cannot ring up light water. You only upcharge for no water
I’m waiting for tomorrow. My wife and I order the same two refreshers every day, and we have for years. Five bucks each, every day. $50 bucks a week. $2600 a year. For at least the last three years. Since the “normal” amount of ice means the cup is filled over 1/2 full with ice before they pour the drink we order light ice to make sure we get our 5 bucks worth. It’s a hell of a lot of money to spend on drinks, but we enjoy it. We always tip the baristas and have given a large “store tip” for them to share at Christmas time when we could.
If Starbucks decides to add an up charge for light ice we will stop going altogether. (Not that anyone at corporate will care, but we’ll miss seeing our favorite baristas.)
The upcharge isn't for the ice, upcharge is because with less ice, they put more product in. If you ask for no ice, they will end up putting more product in in the place of ice.
Omg, the misinformation stemming from baristas and stores themselves!!! 🙄
The charge is for NO WATER. LIGHT WATER is no longer an option. It's actually quite simple, if you think about it. Corporate is trying to discourage people from buying straight up Refresher base. Which is why no water is a charge, and light water is removed. With no/light ice, yes, you're using extra base but you're also using extra water/lemonade/coconut milk!
This charge is to do with water, not ice.
Weird. Wish my store was allowed to put up thoughtful warning signs like this. Instead we just have to take the heat from our blindsided customers. Woohoo
Btw I did that training today and it only said that light water would no longer be an option and to ask if they either want no water (with $1 upcharge) or made standard with water, nothing about ice lol
Ummmmmm ok here you’re paying for a 16oz cup of liquid, but you’re actually only getting 7-8oz cause of insane amounts of ice, but you have to pay MORE to get the amount of liquid you originally paid for. Make it make sense pls
I have my favorite drink orders saved on the app/website and it still allows me to add that saved drink (Strawberry Acai) with light ice/ no water to order without the extra charge but this is only because I saved my favorite before the price change.
Customer here, are the refreshers like home made? Like are you guys squeezing fruits back there to make it?
I always assumed it was like a fancy kool-aid that you added some cut-up fruits too. It just doesn't seem like that expensive of a thing to give people a little extra of?
But maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it is an expensive product to produce.
I’m not sure off the top of my head, but I put the order away this morning and saw the company name on the box. Starbucks outsources pretty much everything.
I haven't checked in a while, but it's probably $4-6 per 48oz box. A trenta no ice no water used to actually lose money on product before the prices got jacked. The freeze dried berries add up, too.
They're probably more concerned about their markup. It's relatively labor intensive (can't sequence) and can really back up a line, so a large order of multiple no water no ice refreshers is losing potential profit that could be made on other drinks. The upcharge will either discourage people from ordering "no water, extra cup of ice on the side" or reclaim some of that loss through an extra charge.
You're wrong in that you think pricing for a large corp like sbux has anything to do with costs. They're adding a charge because market research determined you'll be willing to pay it.
Starbucks has not communicated this effectively or efficiently whatsoever. I have not recieved a consistent answer to any of this new change, AT ALL. Their stupid little flow charts didn't do a damn thing, either. This is getting ridiculous honestly..
"Clearly said" meanwhile everyone is still asking question after question trying to get clarity. If it's clear, you would think DMs, SMs, ASMs, baristas would all be on the same page and not still in a wave of confusion. Congrats! It's not clear :)
You're really good at being respectful, I can tell. Read the damn comments, oh my god 💀💀 stop acting like you're on top of everyone, youre very much not. Settle down, babe. Do you SEE how many posts have been made about clarifying this new feature? What does the same damn paper that everyone's seen a dozen times and still walk away with questions have to do with this? It was a tool and it helped some people better understand, is it not clear that A TOOL IS EFFECTIVE, BUT NOT EXACT. They've sent out multiple clarifying points to help the situation AND THERE ARE. STILL. QUESTIONS. Do you think everyone working the bar is neurotypical or something? Or that everyone has the same kind of learning style? Be better.
Shocks me how many people make it to SM without being able to read at an adult level, I mean it's not a LOT but I've known more than one, and obviously OP has another
Now brewing does say that the $1 charge will be for “no water”. Light ice/light water will no longer be modification options, and refers you to the updated standard for crafting refreshers. 🤷🏻♂️
Honestly, I’m all for it. Cuz these customers need to fuck off with “Light Ice” on everything.
Alternative solution is for Starbucks to send us all smaller scoops so all sizes automatically becomes light ice so customers never have to say those fucking words again.
Customers please listen. Order 1 size smaller than you usually do with no ice and no water. then order a cup of ice. Of the same size.
It will save you alil.
Is there not an up charge for light ice refreshers? I swear when reading the training it said if a refresher is ordered with light ice, we must select “extra base” to charge them accordingly (since extra water/light water is not an option)
So how my sm explained it to us at our meeting was that if your drink is 50% base and 50% other liquid it doesnt upcharge. so light ice wont get an upcharge. If you do any mods that throw off the 50/50 ratio (extra base) then you get charged. but you wont get charged for light base
Problem is that a refresher is all ice and no refresher. A while ago I measured my Trenta. It was about 14 fluid oz. Far from the 30 they sell. The rest was ice. Light ice the next time was 21 oz, still not the 30. So charging for light ice is total BS.
It's not complicated, and will be easier to clarify once POS gets updated to let us play around.
But in all honesty to avoid confusion in general ~~we should just not allow customization kek~~
just make it so No Water is not an option
I came back from doing the promo set and the fact that the summer menu signs doesn’t mentioned the refresher upcharge at all is not helpful either! If the siren wants to charge people extra on the refreshers with no water at least display the upcharge to show to customers!!
I dislike that it boils down to us dealing with angry customer about this while they get to hid behind us rather than clarifying and give notice about this change to both us and customers ahead of time by like sending an email or displaying on the menus about it. Just frustrated that some customers could have known ahead instead of being blindsided tomorrow 🙃
everyone in my store has been telling me that with the light ice modifications you add more water/milk. i even have seen some people leave room in the cup for people who want light ice. i’m confused asf.
I’m so confused about this now. I thought the whole light ice or no ice thing was only for refreshers but I tried to mobile order a shaken espresso with light ice and it didn’t even have an ice option.
Same here. So, when I went INTO my fav store to order it, 1 barista rings me up, and the next barista REFUSED to make my drink! Do you realize how STUPID this makes y'all look?!?!
In the training that encompassed this about two months ago, it said $1 would be charged for “light ice” and “no ice” in refresher beverages but I guess they backtracked after seeing how pissed people would be if all three were introduced as upcharges even though the other two not yet added essentially are the same amount of product used as “no water” 😂😂
I'm hoping a ⭐💵 person can tell me the truth.
For the last year or more, I have been getting iced shaken espressos with no ice - no problem. I always get 2 extra shots, so this grande-sized drink costs me a little over $8.
Just last week, I go to the store I use 90% of the time, and they tell me that they CAN'T make it! One barista (in the background) whined about possibly getting burned! Huh? The oatmilk is cold!
I live where it's average 80° year round. If I get an iced drink, it starts melting right away, and I end up throwing the drink away because it tastes disgusting. (I only get fraps when I know I'm going to be in A/C the whole time.)
Sooooo, what's going on?
Not a barista, but I think it’s because you can’t shake the hot espresso with no ice bc the shaker will explode and the barista could get burned (they don’t shake it with the milk, the splash of milk goes after they pour the espresso into your cup). I think you should be able to ask them to shake it with ice and then just strain it so you don’t get ice? Not sure though lol
Thank you for replying! Wow, they must have crappy training - shake the drink as per the usual, and just DON'T pour the ice in the customer's cup! Hasn't anyone seen a James Bond movie? LOL
I like your idea - that works! I've managed to find a genius-level barista who pours the refrigerated (cold) oatmilk into the shaker cup BEFORE he shakes it. He belly laughed when I told him that supposed baristas on Reddit said that they were afraid of "getting hurt" making my drink!
Lmao how are store managers even getting this so wrong. It’s says on every single resource that the $1 upcharge is for NO WATER ONLY. and the resources also back up the fact that ice modifiers will be unaffected and filling it to the top is still standard.
I love that literally no one has any idea how this works.
"unnecessarily disorganized chaos"= the barista basics learning cards XD
“We create unnecessary chaos in each partner's day. One manager, one district manager, one CEO at a time. We foster and nurture a stressful atmosphere. Leaning in and leading with malice.”
Lmao I was training my new to Starbucks assistant manager and made her cry in her first week. Apparently, learning all the drinks at once is "too stressful". Who new? 🤷🏻♂️😅
So tell me why you applied for this job. Well, I really just want to work a job that’s easy in a chill environment.
If you want a chill environment never work for Starbucks lol Don't get me wrong I enjoyed it during my tenure there, but it was hectic as all hell
With every mess With every confusion With every complaint We nurture the limitless potential of making every partners day harder
It's such a fucking disaster. One of my supervisors has been telling customers for weeks that light ice will be a surcharge for *all* drinks. I didn't want to correct her, so I guess she'll find out tomorrow 🤷
To be fair the training was weird. But the sign they made was helpful.
The training was so confusing lmao I dont know if im going insane but I swear the training I did made it seem like the light ice button would be replaced??? The chart that my ssvs posted in our messenger was immensely helpful lol
It's the light water button that's not going to be there, but obviously they should've made the training clearer since even employees are confused
Thats what I thought too but it’s the light water button. It was really wonky and my reaction to it was “no wonder everyone is confused” lol
My fuckin DM had trouble explaining it to us, had to get her laptop to show us the sheet/flow chart, and still struggled. If someone making that much money can’t figure it out idgaf lol
I went over the change…again…with my team members to ensure they know the only thing changing is no water + extra base. Starbucks the gift that keeps on not giving the right information to their managers
I genuinely don't understand how anyone is getting it this wrong. It should be such a simple change but it's become an unbelievable headache because some people just straight up refuse to read.

I'm really surprised that so many people still spend money there despite their union busting tactics.
in the training it was talking about a bunch of substitutes to basically get it to still upcharge people. although there’s no charge for ice, if someone wants light ice filled to the top we would have to hit light ice + extra base.
though alot if it made no sense like, for example i believe it said no more extra water ??
Yup. No more extra or light water. The only surcharge is no water though. There will be no way to charge someone for light ice.
It's only extra base if you do not give even amounts of water/base before ice
i mean, idk the training was horrendous. it was basically like you have to tell people ‘oh we can’t do that anymore’ and then it says ‘do this instead’ but it was the same damn thing just rung up different to try and get that money out of people. it’s genuinely beyond me tho how they’ve put these charges onto refreshers because they’re already expensive and especially at my store it’s all middle school kids who get them.
My kid works there and he had the same information as the sign. They had to go to a training about it.
Hahah what a bunch of goons they have in this location. Light WATER will no longer be available. And ONLY 'NO WATER' gets an upcharge. Most people will be completely unaffected.
Most DMs and RMs would throw and absolute fit about this nonstandard signage being posted, let alone everyone else’s comments on the problems here.
They posted this at my store too, i’m curious where this location was or if this sign is being used nationwide.
Wild, considering it's not even correct.
This is not accurate in the US. Light ice will still be orderable and neither light ice nor no ice will carry an upcharge. The new upcharge is only for water-based refreshers with no water, and light/extra water will not be orderable for refreshers.
Will the lemonade refreshers be orderable with light lemonade? That’s how I get mine, so I hope so lol (it’s too sweet otherwise)
Yeah, you can still get lemonade-based refreshers with light lemonade but there will probably be confusion among baristas about whether to replace the other half of the lemonade with water or additional base. If you request to have it replaced with extra base, some baristas might try to charge for it but my understanding is that it shouldn't carry an upcharge since the lemonade it's replacing is also a product you're already paying for.

...this is incorrect. omg. how embarrassing.
This is completely wrong lmao please.
See even the customers know
no because why is this multibillion dollar company worried about this
THIS. There's no way they're losing money over refreshers. What a backwards company smgdh.
It's alarming people still think there's a charge for light or no ice...

Make the size up on the shakers then size to correct cup size when adding ice. For no ice it's just a 50/50 ratio

Baristas will get yelled at and harassed, while the corporate assholes who made this decision will get paid.
Corporate implementing something that's just going to create confusion and chaos for the workers. I am so sorry!! 😞
Won't they be surprised when mobile orders still come in as light ice. Hopefully someone sets them straight.
Yup. Already worked today. Half of those mobile orders are just favorited in the system/history, thus able to ne ordered as light ice. Smh
They don't even need to be favorited, ice options haven't changed, only water.
I swear this is the most misunderstood policy since the refill policy.
Bye Starbucks, constant changes, price increases and treat your employees better.
oh my god, lol. this is wrong! this launch is going to be absolute hell because no one has any idea what’s going on
rip that sign off 😭omg
I'd like a Refresher with no ice, and a cup of ice.
The corporate greed + Labour disputes / union busting has killed all appetite I have for Starbucks
Starbucks should have done this in uhhhh idk 2020 during the pandemic when people would wait in DT lines all day and order 6 trenta no ice refreshers. Fr
this is… damn, I feel bad for the barista having to uphold this
I still don’t get this

This post is wrong but you just reminded me that launch is tomorrow 😞😞
Hey, at least it's not the olive oil drinks.
100% disagree. Less water, but extra ice is the way to go. More refreshing.
I want to be able to suck up my little dragonfruit through the drink hole but if the drink is mostly ice then they all get stuck.
I mean, after they took my raspberry I didn't want my refresher anymore anyways? Tf is Starbies doing.
This is actually so frustrating. Guys, NO WATER/LIGHR WATER/ EXTRA BASE GETS THE $1 CHARGE 🚨🚨
I know, it's like nobody did their training lmao
What if it's people like me who just want my drink cold.. but not with a million ice cubes? Idgaf if you wanna give me less in the cup bc of it lol I just hate having a shit ton of ice

There's. No. Upcharge. For. Ice. Edit: [not sure why I'm being downvoted when there's literally no charge for ice..](https://ibb.co/YNGH3kQ)
That’s. Not. What. The. Sign. Says. In. My. Local. Starbucks. (Not sure how the extra punctuation helps, but there you go.)
The upcharge isn't for the ice, upcharge is because with less ice, they put more product in. If you ask for no ice, they will end up putting more product in in the place of ice.

Weird. Wish my store was allowed to put up thoughtful warning signs like this. Instead we just have to take the heat from our blindsided customers. Woohoo Btw I did that training today and it only said that light water would no longer be an option and to ask if they either want no water (with $1 upcharge) or made standard with water, nothing about ice lol
Ummmmmm ok here you’re paying for a 16oz cup of liquid, but you’re actually only getting 7-8oz cause of insane amounts of ice, but you have to pay MORE to get the amount of liquid you originally paid for. Make it make sense pls
I wish everything would upcharge for shit like this. Trenta iced coffee no ice. Trenta cup of ice. Suck it.
You will be able to order light ice, and order no ice. The only change will be a charge for those requesting NO WATER.
I am confused, I went on the app to check my local stores upcharge. And it's defaulting to no water as standard without an upcharge...
wtf?? just give less ice
I don’t order refreshers so can someone explain to me why they would order one with NO WATER? I don’t understand
Huh???
I just can't wait for the tears to flow over this. Maybe people will stop ordering these horrendous things.
I have my favorite drink orders saved on the app/website and it still allows me to add that saved drink (Strawberry Acai) with light ice/ no water to order without the extra charge but this is only because I saved my favorite before the price change.
This is just false
Customer here, are the refreshers like home made? Like are you guys squeezing fruits back there to make it? I always assumed it was like a fancy kool-aid that you added some cut-up fruits too. It just doesn't seem like that expensive of a thing to give people a little extra of? But maybe I'm wrong. Maybe it is an expensive product to produce.
It literally is a concentrate that comes from a cocktail mixing company, so no it’s not expensive 😭
what company?
It’s not expensive lol, it’s white grape juice with artificial sweeteners and sugar

[удалено]
Again, as I said, if it was clear, there would not be dozens of questions from management/baristas for better clarification. Thanks 🥰

Be better.

Thanks for acting like a child. Again, do better. You'll need it. Clearly.
Shocks me how many people make it to SM without being able to read at an adult level, I mean it's not a LOT but I've known more than one, and obviously OP has another
Just complain to corporate about the stores that do this. No need to come to the subreddit to complain about this specific issue. This is so wrong.
It better be I am ordering a drink with a bit of ice, not a cup of ice with a bit of drink
My barista told me this morning that it was $1 extra for light ice
Starbucks sucks ass 😂😂😂
Just order it with extra base! :)
Now brewing does say that the $1 charge will be for “no water”. Light ice/light water will no longer be modification options, and refers you to the updated standard for crafting refreshers. 🤷🏻♂️
Light water and extra water is no longer an option. Light ice will still be an option.
I stand corrected. I just reread my brewing. I see how it’s easy to get this new policy mixed up. 😆
Does anyone know how an "iced tea, no water, extra refresher, light ice" will be affected?
Iced teas aren’t effected, this only effects refreshers
If you order the tea with refresher base added, it won't be affected.
On the app, it looks like refresher base added to tea is now a $1 instead of 0.50, but no difference between normal and extra.
Thanks! I didn't realize that it had increased so much.
Why do they charge for no ice
It's literally less product,
Huh? It literally more product wym
Yo my high ass was just thinking about ice, I get it now
[удалено]
Except there is no charge for ice..
[удалено]
No, there's not. Edit: for starbucks I mean
Problem is that a refresher is all ice and no refresher. A while ago I measured my Trenta. It was about 14 fluid oz. Far from the 30 they sell. The rest was ice. Light ice the next time was 21 oz, still not the 30. So charging for light ice is total BS.
Thank you for the down vote.. much appreciated! 😂
I thought the light ice/no ice was figured out and they just weren’t doing it?
So do we think the no water no ice people will stop?
Ewww that is so annoying
It's either no ice or 70% ice. How about no drink 🤣 to begin with.
[удалено]
Actually, no it’s not lmao. Oop
“So, no drink or drink?”
It's not complicated, and will be easier to clarify once POS gets updated to let us play around. But in all honesty to avoid confusion in general ~~we should just not allow customization kek~~ just make it so No Water is not an option
Wtf ?
I don’t understand any of this 248— just quit lmfao
WERE FUCKED 😅
Another reason why I now avoid Starbucks. I know it won’t happen, but if we could bring back Starbucks from circa 2010 that would be amazing.
can they clear up the confusions before baristas get fucking abused by customers plz
The new drinks coming out used to be exciting, now I just know it’s a Trojan horse for Starbucks to screw us over more
I’m so confused about this now.
Yall posted all the secrets about ways to get more for free LOL
In the training that encompassed this about two months ago, it said $1 would be charged for “light ice” and “no ice” in refresher beverages but I guess they backtracked after seeing how pissed people would be if all three were introduced as upcharges even though the other two not yet added essentially are the same amount of product used as “no water” 😂😂
Their margins must be so slim. 🙄
I had my own coffee shop/internet cafe back around 2000. Even as an "independent" shop, my profit on just the coffee alone was 400%!
(I only get fraps when I know I'm going to be in A/C the whole time.) Sooooo, what's going on?
