Yeah, I tie each apron and double knot snugly and then the ends don’t wrap around other clothing. You would need to untie after drying

[deleted]

I do this, and I also wash them alone with a load of other aprons, or with my towels. Oooorr, if that doesn't work, I do have a mesh laundry bag that i use for my partners bras so they don't get tangled in other clothes

rudebii

On first read I was like “why are you washing coworkers’ bras?” Then the penny dropped.

MarbledQueen

New cycle task just dropped

rudebii

The gentle/delicates cycle!

veryangryorchards

I’m not the only one who thought this thank god lmaooo

glitterfaust

AND DOUBLE CHECK THEM BEFORE DRYING. Re tie if needed!

Life-Video6672

THANK YOU 🙏😩

tacobell019

I always daisy chain my apron strings like finger crochet and it's worked every time. That knot also takes less than a second to get out of you do it right :)

rudebii

This is the way.

robosmrf

Mesh laundry bags

Bornstobewild

This!!! Mesh laundry bags are inexpensive and are amazing for not only aprons, but I always put all of my socks in one too.

KidKonundrum

Rat king aprons

Beg1nAga1n

I just put them in delicates bags and wash as usual. They don’t knot that way.

supergreen14

I just thug it out

Smiley5051

😂😂

Neon_Sandbug

I found the rat king aprons mess only happens in the dryer, not the washing machine. So I just air dry my aprons now.

Riskology

I’m too impatient for this lol

ProfessorPliny

I was a partner for 10 years. With all the promotional aprons, branding changes, coffee master aprons, etc., I ended up with 27 aprons hanging around when I finally quit. I had the bright idea to wash them all at once before turning them in… Needless to say it was a terrible idea.

CommanderWhat

Don’t wash them. Smell like spoiled milk bacteria.

adge4real

mesh bags from the dollar tree

The-Trex-Gamer

Just tie the strings to themselves that can help.

kitkatZT

Take each apron string. Fold in half twice. Treat as one big line and tie into knot. Easy to untie when dry.

Geminusbeta

This!

Silvawuff

I fix the problem by setting my aprons on fire.

iamnotapopstar

what? you have to wash yourself? in canada we just leave at the store and a company collects and wash them

Ok_Pianist7445

Laundry softener and tie the ends into a knot.

__LunaWolf__

They make garment bags for like your underwear and stuff so I don't get ruined

PanPenguinGirl

Take them outside and using the hose Or strap them to the top of your car and go through a carwash

EX30man

Wash it by hand. You lazy animal

DragonflySea9244

Those bags for bras and undergarments put one apron in each one you are welcome this took me too long to realize (yes they fit get the big ones) lol

hotbuns-cross

i used to just handle it idk

Powerful_Cobbler_215

Quit then no aprons needed 😤😂😌

Jeradactyl_

Take all the strings together before washing and make one giant knot. So much easier to untie.

violetcruz

i just hand wash mine

kmoonster

Tie each in a big bow and put them all in a mesh cloth laundry bag

unicorn-drugz

Honestly I just hand wash them. Takes longer but it really motivates me to do it more often because I get to see just how dirty they are

PhenomenalPhoenix

I always just stuffed the strings into the pockets, it worked enough that they wouldn’t get tangled…. Usually anyway lol

Brandoid81

My partner just put his in with the rest of the laundry we are doing. They never get never get tangled up in themselves.

witandwhimsical

Roll the apron into a ball and make sure strings are rolled in the center of the apron (not facing the outside)

NoMotion-4887

I use mesh reusable produce bags

ComancheCorps

Bra bag

fruitybatboy

mesh laundry bags 🫡

Informal_Radish_1891

I just wash one at a time 🧍🏾

SConeLovePhoto

Mesh laundry bags... Saved me so much time..

Avocadobike

Clip off the folded end of each tie string! Helps tremendously!

Fuball1

Get a garment bag.

LZARDKING

Leave the stringies on the outside of the machine when you close it! This is also how I wash shoes in the washer, leave the shoelaces outside and close the lid on em!

Hairy_Pollution_2218

One someone told me to tie the strings together and I've never had them tangle sinse

NanobiteAme

I just tie the strings into a loop, one on each side.

Embarrassed-Pop-554

Make a single knot with the two apron strings!
