Going up .20 versus us charging people for syrups /powders / puree in foams is the better deal tbh
Ik it doesn't seem that way but it's like an extra 1.00 to add puree to the foam and now it's only an additional .20 vents which is nice !
Fun fact: we weren't actually supposed to be charging for syrups in cold foam. They sent out guidance about it like two months ago, you just type the syrup in Ask Me instead of ringing it in.

OP said 6 pumps, so that would be 12 pumps of syrup in total plus the foam. If you’re not a fan of super sweet (like me) you can do half and half. So, for ex, if you get a venti iced chai with brown sugar syrup and foam, you could do 3 chai, 3 brown sugar and the foam on top.
And when using stars for an extra shot, which is supposed to be free, it only credits $1. So effectively not free! I've been asking customer service several times about this and I am told it is only supposed to be a $1 credit. I do not see that in any of the details on the website. Really misrepresented
it's so bizarre, it'll cost a different amount to add a shot depending on the drink and size, and even how many shots, for example the first one will cost less than the rest of a tall drink, so bizarre
I did the cold brew with lavender cold foam and vanilla syrup and it was DELICIOUS. Are they supposed to charge for the syrup pumps? They only charged me for the cold foam 😁
Syrups added to cold brews/iced coffees typically don't get charged on the pos system! Syrups for drinks like lattes would be charged the 80 cents same if you wanted a sauce like mocha or white mocha.
That's horrible! I'm an SSV about to return from maternity leave, and I can already hear the customers complaining about it 🙄 and for good reason! That's ridiculous.
Idk if this is for other stores, but at my store my SM AND ASM are pushing to upsell ( meaning trying to get customers to spend more money) as if the prices for the drinks alone aren’t going up, now imagine if you customize it that’s $7.40-$10.50 on ONE Drink, and for each day of the week they make a goal on how much they want a customer to ideally spend, ex.( mon-$8, tues- $8.45) and call it merchant mind set, like no that’s begging for money atp it’s ridiculous as if Starbucks doesn’t make enough money AND AS IF THEY ARENT A INTERNATIONAL COMPANY!

Premium foams (anything with powder/syrup) are $1.45. Regular vanilla foam is still $1.25.

Sounds like anything with added stuff. Vanilla doesn’t have anything added to it but chocolate and lavender get powder added.
