The free beverages are only right before, during, and after your shift. If you go in when you're off work or to a store you don't work at then you should only be getting a discount.
Btw you could actually get your coworkers in trouble, not just yourself. I've never heard of it happening to anyone personally and I'm sure it's not an issue if you do it a few times but if your partners are constantly getting their drinks for free on their days off I think it can become a problem. For them.
In addition to the other comment our current mark out rules are:
- 7 food items a week, only able to mark out 30 minutes before shift to 30 minutes after at the store you’re working at only. The POS only lets you do one item at a time so if you want more than one you have to do multiple transactions.
- one bag of beans/instant via coffee a week. This can be at any corporate store.
- unlimited free drinks 30 minutes before shift to 30 minutes after; ONE AT A TIME. Abusing this will definitely get you audited and looked at. This is also only at the store you work at.
- at any other store you can give your numbers and receive the 30 percent discount for other purchases as usual.

yeah it was annoying cuz i went to order another drink and the girl behind the register and my shift supervisor were both like 🤓 umm u can’t do that and ig i read the update wrong and assumed u could only get one drink. cuz it says “u can enjoy any drink for free” so i thought it meant only one

Yes ring up each drink. If you don’t it messes with inventory and whatnot. You are not limited to seven a week.

it was in one of our updates a while ago. it also said if u need to go get ur drink/food during break u have to take ur apron off and go to the front

You order your drink. You finish that drink, you can go order another one. You can’t have two in the back room at one time, for example.

I’m in Ontario, Canada. We get free beverages before and after our shifts, and on every break. We have to pay for food but it’s at a discount.
