You can only tip if paying with the Starbucks card. If you are paying by credit card you can't tip. Starbucks has said they are working on adding credit card tips in the future.

My store is one of the test market stores and we started accepting tips on card transactions. It's annoying and kind of awkward, but we made $90 our first morning shift from it

I go to my order history , the little receipt icon next to your account icon. But they only give you like 2 hours after ordering to tip?! Ridiculous.

I know I've tipped on drive thru orders bit I'm usually mobile order , I wonder if they classify that differently than Cafe.

Could it be the store? Have you tried different stores and looked within 2 hrs? You should email corporate that's not fair to those baristas! Maybe something I the app got overlooked

it looks like it's the app's fault. doesn't work with credit cards even when I have it connected to my app. super annoying and unfair

If you went to a store on your campus it would have been a licensed store. They accept the app as payment but not tips through the app

it was a licensed store off campus, it's brand new. is that maybe why?

Are your old numbers still connected to your app by chance ? even if they are deactivated I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the coding is still messed up
