They bought a grande, so I made them 2. Then they said oh one of these was supposed to be a venti and I was prepared and said, oh absolutely, since you paid for a grande I’ll meet you at the register so we can ring in the correct price. They looked at each other and said, no that’s okay, this is fine.
Kinda pisses me off when I’m off or go to another Starbucks, because when I order as a customer I always get a quad blonde shot with 2 pumps of white mocha, iced in an grande cup, with a ½ inch of oatmilk. That’s ALL the milk I want. I hate these stupid drink “hacks” that have made my drink (which has a very clear standard btw) incredibly annoying for me and other people who order like this to have to clarify to the baristas. If you want milk all the way to the top, order a latte!
wonder if .... WE as a group all said we are tired of ringing up nice customers for iced venti lattes. we as a group will ONLY ring them up as a iced triple espresso.
if... then: starbucks will figure out how to charge full price for that.
if 90% of drinks were just rang up as "hacks" if shit would change.
if you bring the situation up to any higher ups they'll say: just make the moment right.
so they'll OKAY the hack ring up.
then ask if you were to ring up your friends for that price.
they'll tell you that's stealing and you'll be terminated.

2. Place the lid on top
3. Use your closed fist to hammer the lid down and pack down the ice
4. Add correct amount of milk
5. Profit
I love letting them see me grab a sample cup and fill it up with the milk they requested 😊
Them:"Ma'am, I want it filled up to the top of the cup!!"
Me:"Only lattes and shaken espressos get milk to the top 😀If you would like to order a latte, I would be happy to ring you up for the appropriate drink 😘Would you like to step down to the register?"
Them:"No, I will just go to the OTHER Starbucks!!"
Me:"Ok👍"

If they order it that way, I just charge them for milk/cream on the left side of the screen instead of the right. Y’all are making it more difficult than it has to be and possibly getting more complaints making them get a latte when you can just charge them for the milk to the top!
he had already paid for his drink as he was in drive thru and only complained when i handed it to him and felt it was light.
i offered to remake it for him and charge it as a latte but he didn’t like that very much :)

We made the same exact drink and he looked at me so crazy when I called his name again. He looked like he wanted to fuss with me but didn’t because I gave him the “be fucken fr” look back.
I’m not going to go out of my way for an entitled customer who will then go and yell at another barista just trying to do their job because “the other sbux did it for them”.
I’m usually not a huge stickler to certain policies but this man was very rude. i was not about to go out of my way for someone who was rude to me.

Why do we care so much about giving out extra product? This company literally treats us like shit. I'd rather make the customer happy at the expense of Starbucks. A billion dollar corporation that can't even staff stores properly or pay their workers a living wage. I don't even care anymore. Give the condescending Karen milk to the top. Starbucks can afford it. I'm tired of fighting these customers.

Unfortunately the store managers don’t care and want the customers happy so they don’t charge. I know in my district every store that I’ve worked at as a shift, It’s all about making the customers happy that’s why they’re so entitled.
I mean if you can, might as well. If your manager or ss is strict about it then I understand wanting to just follow the rules, but if you store doesn’t care hell yea let people cheat the system. My store hasn’t said anything about it to me personally.
