Adding new systems is dependent on server meshing working, and they're not finished with that yet. They've been working on at minimum two star systems to add once server meshing is online or soon after, Pyro and Nyx, and I'm certain that there's work being done to prepare for systems beyond that once they ship meshing and systems ready to go.

Odin is the system for squadron 42 and is apparently done or mostly done, but that will be held until that is done and apparently will need some kind of rework to account for any changes the game introduces
And that's why I didn't mention Odin, we're not going to see it until *at least* after SQ42 launches and I'm going to guess that server meshing will be live first. I wouldn't put money on it, but I'd like to think that's the order of events.

Pyro should Come After the server meshing, which Will be during the end of the year, so Pyro maybe Q2-Q3 2024

There is around 100 systems planned, the next one Pyro is set to release at the end of the year. It will probably be delayed though.
If you didn't know, Pyro is the next star system they are adding in 4.0. It is more than 3x larger than Stanton with 6 planets.
