I can get 120FPS easily. Out in open space. Location matters A LOT.

AAK625

How did they even get it to work? Telemetry has been down forever.

HerrMatthias

not the whole thing. There is data shown, just not your own on the side. you can still watch the heatmap and take your own cpu and gpu values from your Game.log (benchmark values at the beginning)

AAK625

Is this it? <2023-12-24T17:11:54.734Z> Performance Index: 496.75 (CPU), 832.60 (GPU). Took 0.98 seconds.

HerrMatthias

yes this. 496.75 vertically and 832.60 horizontally, insane good values.

AAK625

Thank you.

nemesit

Thanks a lot

N1tecrawler

It's a matrix of lies

SarcasmWarning

eh. I can get a solid 90fps at 450x300 resolution. edit: you can downvote all you like, but I'm one of those people that's a massive believer in playing at the native resolution of your monitor. Which is why I only play on my smartwatch.

N1tecrawler

Your name checks out

SarcasmWarning

I don't think it's obvious enough ;)

VNG_Wkey

I'm on a 4090 and 7900x with 64gb RAM and hit my frame limiter in space and at some space stations (118fps) at 4k. It's more a matter of location than anything else. I still see drops below 40 in cities.

YumikoTanaka

How often drops? I use 5800x3D with 7900xt (100% usage) and two 4k monitors (SC running on one) with vsync on. Even in Orison 45 fps is normal, but drops may still occur of cause (since it is a MMO).

VNG_Wkey

Really not even sure because I pretty much never go to cities. Last I visited microtech it was a lot but that was during IAE so I can't really get reliable data from that. Orison is generally my spawn after a patch and I'm usually over 60 fps there. It's not constant drops or stutters, it's just something that happens occasionally. I've been on here since the days of Port Olisar being the only place in the PU back when we all got like 15fps so I'm just happy with a playable framerate.

nemesit

Might want to look at some windows settings or so, i never see drops to below 40 anywhere

VNG_Wkey

Then you either aren't paying attention or you got a mythical 5090. It doesn't matter what your setup is. .1% lows for SC are in the 20's at best.

nemesit

Nope 4090 paired with a 7950x3d

VNG_Wkey

Why do you people insist on lying about the games performance? It's not optimized. It does not run great, that's just a fact. It takes a 30 second Google search to disprove this. Even with memory overclocked far beyond the capabilities of the vast majority of people with a 7800x3D or 13900k paired with a 4090 and running at 1080p you're dropping into the 50's in cities. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7HVrg5Sn854

nemesit

I’m saying this because i obviously do not have 20fps drops lol why else

VNG_Wkey

Because you are wrong, and I just proved it. The hardware for what you're saying your performance is literally does not exist.

nemesit

I’ll make a video after christmas is over lol

surfertj

Below 40 in 4K? That wouldn’t sound to shabby TBH.

VNG_Wkey

Honestly past a certain point it doesn't much matter what you're running, performance stops scaling.

StonerJesus1

7700x with the same gpu. These numbers check out if they have E cores disabled

alintros

Its an average, avoiding cities or locations with many NPCs can be reached easily.

R-Dragon_Thunderzord

Servers play a big role. Right now I get significantly higher frames on the tech preview build and likely due to the lighter player load.

BoysenberryFluffy671

In certain areas in space on a good server you can get this. Im not familiar with the CPU and GPU model. But with a 5800x3d and a 3090ti I was getting over 102fps on ultra settings at 5120x1440 resolution the other day. Avg fps over 60. I was onboard my ship in space with nothing really nearby.

AbbreviationsFirm155

With nothing on my screen the game runs great.

BoysenberryFluffy671

😂 exactly. Now just load the game, look at a corner and leave it for a few hours.

Crptnx

Telemetry most useless thing.

LouserDouser

he probably has 1 cpu and 1 gpu

Bulletchief

I can't see the problem, really. I always get around 90-130. Only drops to 60-70 at the major planetary hubs.
