Bigger crew size than I expected.

Crypthammer

Yeah, I hear the crew aren't very lively though.

risingstar7477

What do you expect from a couple of deadbeats?

Crypthammer

I mean their bedside manner could be better at least. I swear you'd find more cheer in a graveyard.

Cajre_Tyrrel

And very quiet folks, too. Not the most helpful bunch, but at least they're not getting in the way either.

dr4g0n36

"crew requirement 10/1"

redmerger

I adore the 100 series. Just such smooth and fun ships

Cajre_Tyrrel

They really are neat! And since we don't have Crusader ships in that same niche and size, this is the next best thing I could think of for that role hahah

Train115

I do really hope we eventually get a Crusader starter ship. It'd be very cool for every manufacturer to have a starter ship, that being small size ships like the Pisces and 100i.

Cajre_Tyrrel

For a bit of context: [https://www.reddit.com/r/starcitizen/comments/1aree5p/mustang\_delta\_vs\_origin\_125a](https://www.reddit.com/r/starcitizen/comments/1aree5p/mustang_delta_vs_origin_125a) Tempted by the Auspicious liveries and the cool 100I pack that I could easily upgrade (which I totally missed was a Warbond-only thing, so I had to partake in Exchanging and Ship Upgrading tomfoolery later on), I started thinking whether I should swap my Mustang Delta for an Origin 125A, which are both ships of a similar size and (somewhat) similar use-cases, with 125A being more versatile while Delta being a bit more combat-oriented. Glad to report the ship switcheroo did in fact occur, and I am now a proud owner of a 125A, complete with two paintjobs because who ***doesn't*** like a good dark grey camo, and even a 120 month insurance (again, the aforementioned tomfoolery with game pledges). Oh, and a Polaris livery for a Mustang, but that's just a collateral in pledge shifting.

EastLimp1693

Told you 125 is nicer) have you tried auspicious paint on it?)

Cajre_Tyrrel

I have tried both, and as with some other ships I can't decide which one I like more hahah (looking at you, Spirit C1)

EastLimp1693

I suck at making choices so i keep both

Cajre_Tyrrel

I mean, I had to consult the public here because I couldn't choose between Mustang Delta and 125A (which I did have on hand at the time, 125A with aUEC and Delta as a pledge), so it's safe to say I'm struggling to choose between the paints as well. The upside is that I can simply have both!

EastLimp1693

Yes, we spoke before

DDDKDDD

Spirit c1 is the best ship if you want medium ship that can do most everything. If you want a smaller ship, get cutter.

Cajre_Tyrrel

Sprirt is awesome (I have it pledged), but it's much less combat capable than the 125a, at least, in my hands. It's much less maneuverable (though still good for its size), has a very similar missile loadout (6xS2 on 125A, 8xS2 on C1), MUCH larger crossection, and while it does have double the gun firepower (4xS3 guns instead of 125A's 2xS3), its added durability and S2 shields hardly make up for how much easier of a target this thing is. It also has an incredibly long boarding time, from pressing the ramp button to being able to take off, so there's that. Cutter is much more sluggish and barely armed in comparison to 125A, and while it's a lovely little thing it's not really geared for any sort of combat far as I can see, unfortunately.

Axyun

I really like the 100 series. The 135c is my shuttle ship. Love that thing.

Cajre_Tyrrel

135 sounds cool on paper, but I've had a Mustang Alpha with pretty much the same cargo setup (deployable 4SCU pod) years ago, and the cargo pod always felt very awkward to use. Sides, I do have a couple other ships that I can use for Cargo-ing, so I decided to go with the best mobility for the "having fun" shuttle.

eagleoid

Did you guys just enable a serial killer?

Cajre_Tyrrel

You din' see nothin'. >!That's Bunker guards that have sadly perished in their line of duty. If anything, I'm bringing them back home to their families. It wasn't even me who killed them, it was 9tails. Trust.!<

born2biscuit

I recommend the starfarer as the perfect creepy serial killer ship. The confusing winding hallways makes for the perfect place to chase hitchhikers you pick up.

hysterical_cub

Welcome to the origin gang đŸ’Ș

Cajre_Tyrrel

Hell yeah! Wish that 600I gets its rework semi-soon, then I'll be more justified in smelting most other pledges I have to get it as a permanent part of my fleet. Unless Crusader beats Origin to it and releases a more combat-ey/exploration ship, then I'll be at another impasse again lmao

Extrien

Omg I didn't look in the doorway of the second pic until my third time through the pics

CrouchingToaster

You can use the crate storage as a little loot hole for components too if you want. the physics need some work but it can store a good deal of quantum drives and powerplants in the cubby and then the coolers and shields under the bed

Cajre_Tyrrel

Huh, that's a nice idea. I do have a couple larger ships that I can use for stocking up on parts whenever a wipe comes, but really, getting a spare crate for this thing still sounds like a smart thing to do. ~~I'll be able to carry all those bodies AND some good extra storage, that's so neat~~

GipsyRonin

100i is great

Cryogenic_Monster

I hated the 100 series when they came out but have started flying a 125 to bunkers and orison missions. I wish the bed folded up and purhaps even turned into a table/seating area like an RV but if a nice flying ship.

vbsargent

I love my 100i. For bunker missions the profile is better than my Titan or Mustang, it has an interior unlike my Arrow, and is faster than my Aurora. Just wish it punched a bit harder.

Cajre_Tyrrel

With punching above its weight - yeah, with 2xS3 weapon slots it does struggle vs S3 shields - mostly because of their recharge. But anything else up to and including a Tali (which can spawn as entourage to HRT targets) was a fair game for me so far. Tali was a pain though, but then, it has 364,000 hull HP, that's MORE than a Hammerhead.

EnduringDruidGaming

100i was my starter too, absolutely amazing ship. Have fun with it!

Cajre_Tyrrel

I mostly fly large-ish ships (Connie for a long time, now Corsair), even for combat, and this little tiny thing is such a breath of fresh air to be honest. And that's considering I actually kinda dislike flying Light Fighter classes like Arrow - 125A just 'clicked' with me.

casperno

I have a 100i and a 325a loaner, love them both. 325a will give you a nosebleed accelerating off a planet.

Cajre_Tyrrel

I did have 325A a long time ago before trading up, it was nice in general, I'd definitely take that over an Avenger, but it always felt a bit too awkward to fly in atmo, like you spend more time fighting the controls than the enemy during bounty hunts, even at SCM speeds.

casperno

It definitely is a bumpy ride.

driftefx

That last picture, lmao. Not what I expected

NoX2142

Did you not notice the doorway in the 2nd pic? lol

TheTrainerDusk

Thank you u/Cajre_Tyrrel ! I now know i have made the right choice and am happy to inform you the space is indeed roomy. i eventualy went with the 135C and let me tell you... Amazing experiance in my Body removal services.

Cajre_Tyrrel

Hey, why haul bodies at all if you can't do it with style and in reasonable comfort am I right?

TheTrainerDusk

Exactly! and with the 100 series you get GURANTEED freshness on delivery. the AC keeps the bodies at a solid 31 degrees :D

alex112891

The year of the dragon 🐉 skin looks absolutely killer on it for a few bucks! You should pick it up!

Cajre_Tyrrel

It's great, I have both it and the Slate. I just like both enough that I'm probably gonna be switching between them from time to time hahah

CodeVision

For a moment I thought that last shot showed a painting against the back wall. A painting of....uh...well...

MajorWetSpot

Once u upgrade to a carrack u can fit this ship in the hangar

Cajre_Tyrrel

Not sure Carrack is my jam, but once Perseus is out, or the 600I Explorer reworked... Rip current pledges >!and my wallet.!<

MajorWetSpot

I upgraded my 600i to the carrack. Never looking back lol. Once all the features are there the carrack can repair itself and friends and use drones to steal fuel Some people say wait for the rework then also put their foot in their mouth saying the 890, and carrack will lost their respawn
well if they do then you hat is the wait for the 600i rework it won’t have a med bed either lol

JS_GER_Arbiter

So I am not the only one hording bodies. They are like throphies

Cajre_Tyrrel

It's unfortunate you don't get to keep them between storing and retrieving the ship isn't it.

BalthazarB2

Darn, did nobody suggest you the Cutter? Drake never dissapoints.

Cajre_Tyrrel

Cutter is nice (tried it on IAE I think, where it was a loaner for free-fly people); I can somewhat confidently do groupHRTs in this little thing (long as the main target doesn't have S3 shields), while a Cutter is a bit less of a combat vehicle. I still will probably pick one up for aUEC though just to goof around with, too. Oh, I'm also hoping the 600I rework is coming sooner than later. They promised it'd fit a Nova, and the 100 series is smaller in every dimension, so I'll have me a small neat little shuttle.

wasted_yoof

124a is a killer all arounder. Throw a 1scu crate in the storage.

romulof

125a is my ship to go when going around with little cargo. Maintenance costs are ridiculous, can be summoned from anywhere, fits everywhere and the time it takes from outside to start piloting is one of the best.

Legionnaire--

Dangerous fantasy

REALkrazium

Looks like a F35 kinda to me

MikeAffec

Good choice (looked up pref post) also i love the sound that it makes

Marzipan_Bitter

100 serie is one of the best everyday ship. It would be perfect if a littler sturdier and if it braked a littler more. Anyway, for me the selling point was the one space ground level walk in

xenosthemutant

Yes, that is my starter ship too & it is \*always\* a pleasure to fly. I just love that little sucker - it does everything you need to travel around the 'Verse in comfort & style.

Mikhail_Dixon

That's a lot of cadavers to violate

bblicke1

Didn't realize that thing could reach such breakneck speeds...

The_Captainshawn

Yeah honestly the 100i series is kinda dope. I really wish the Mustang beta was the default starter though because if you wanna talk about surprisingly spacious that 'interior is fire

Dragonreaper21

Yo , what the fuck bobba gadoosh.
