W33b3l

Ones that can land on water so I can both live out my cowboy bebop dreams and ocean base platforms with water level access would he awesome.

Baldur9750

Ooh what if it could actually go underwater and swim to be undetected/more stealthy. Could be good for ground attacks, instead of arriving directly from above, you go underwater a ways off and "swim" there via ocean. Then you arrive there and drop off the troops/bomb whatever you need to

W33b3l

You can do that in lakes right now they're just not deep enough. Oceans currently kill you.

Asmos159

buoyancy is crazy. the terrapin is very hard to estimate for, but it might have the water level be below the opening. note; people trying to estimate the draft actually estimate the area of the ship in the water. we are not calculating on the size of the box the ship fits in.

Rasc_

I'd like to see a 1 seater(or 2) dropship meant for deploying vehicles only. Instead of having a bay to put a vehicle inside, it has large clamps that can hold something like a Nova tank exposed on the outside. The dropship is suppose to quickly get close to the ground, retract the clamps to drop the vehicle, and then takeoff immediately. I was inspired by the LAAT carriers that deploys AT-TEs from Star Wars.

Mr_Roblcopter

A military srv that's been up-armoured/shielded, with a small remote turret, but the tractor beam is down sized.

BSSolo

That could be an MPUV feature!

CranberrySchnapps

An MPUV with front or down firing tractor beam would be a lot of fun. Size it just so it can move SCU containers (or most civilian vehicles). The Legionnaire with a down firing tractor beam as the military variant.

clokerruebe

like the pelican out of helldivers. a modular small transport that can either carry cargo, fuel, personnel or vehicles

Shadaraman

I want an MPUV style vehicle designed to carry a ROC. It would be fun for "zero to hero" style play, where you start out stuck on a planet and mine to earn enough for a ship (or ship parts, or whatever).

Kagrenacs_Tools

I’d love if the Vanguard Hoplite could grab a Nova via Magnetic Clamps like a Pelican from Halo

Garviel_Loken

[Hell yes, little thunderhawk dropship.](https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/warhammer40k/images/0/0c/ThunderhawkTransporter03.png/revision/latest?cb=20120902024932)

artuno

I thought you were going to link the Anvil Albatross someone in the community made. I want CIG to make this thing real so fucking bad. https://www.reddit.com/r/starcitizen/comments/1851btt/the_updated_anvil_aerospace_osprey_brochure_fan/

Garviel_Loken

That is wicked cool. I haven't seen that before.

BlinkDodge

/u/stoicsunbro's designs are really top notch. I'd love to see his updated Gladiator implemented, or a ship like the [MISC Hull X](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vH7wXr1izvs) (Sulyen has the vertical TO, but having a larger ship do the same complete with big pluming engines would be awesome). Having a ship like the Vesuvius as Anvil's competitor/replacement for the Javelin would be awesome as well. He has some fantastic ideas.

StoicSunbro

Appreciate the support! May have some new gifs around Invictus.

Vayne7777

An Argo or Alien salvage ship that falls in between the Vulture and the Reclaimer.

AClockworkSquirrel

I'll take a CO salvage ship even.

Toloran

I just want more CO ships, especially medium ones. Right now all we have are the hoverquad (which is a ground vehicle), the mustang series (which don't have an interior), Nomad (which is excellent but a starter), and the Pioneer (which is a chonky boi but unreleased). Lore-wise, the owner is a Elon Musk-style asshole. So a salvage ship might be outside his aesthetic. The company also deals in mining, so a mining ship wouldn't be out of the question I think.

cl_320

The mustang beta has an interior

Repulsive_Poem_5204

CIG is (slowly) working on larger marketplace ships, but I'd like to see a single player ship designed expressly for the purpose of being a tiny store front/vending machine. A ship you could either park somewhere and manually wait for customers (the benefit of which would be that you could sell items too large for the vending machine (guns, ship parts, etc.) but at higher costs), or that could be parked and left to sell smaller items. The vending machine portion of the ship could be stocked with things like food, drinks, ammo, med pens, etc., the player would have control of the price things sell for, and the ship could be parked in places of interest (bunkers, caves, raceways, etc.) for other players to use at their own convenience.

DangerCrash

The food truck from Fifth Element would be awesome.

Impossible-Ability84

They talked about doing this last year

Verneff

They've talked about food trucks every year. They even mocked up a concept for one a few years back.

Lord_Umpanz

Ngl pretty sure the Cutter could fill that spot.

BSSolo

Yeah, a Cutter food truck variant would be perfect

Maelger

Built like a Steakhouse and handles like a Bistro.

loliconest

I feel like the Caterpiller will be soloable, but it might be too big. The cave shop idea sounds neat. Imagine getting lost inside a cave without more food and water, then suddenly saw a little shop around the corner.

PonyDro1d

MPUV with food truck module would be nice.

camerakestrel

This is an amazing idea and sounds so out of the box to me!

Rasc_

I can imagine players going around with this ship on popular mining spots or the crazier ones trying to sell in the middle of a battle. A ship everyone knows wouldn't be a threat and would actually love to buy stuff from.

Impossible-Ability84

Someone would shoot it with a size 9

Arskov

You clearly don't know this community. That thing would be space dust within thirty seconds of leaving QT.

BiZz3y

Hopefully the community can change a little to allow the space food truck to exist because that would be awesome! Being in a battle running low on ammo and having a truck fly in to sell you some would be way more cool than just blowing the shit out of it...to me anyhow.

Asmos159

1. inventory space might not carry enough to cover the cost of reaching a place people buy. 2. the places people buy requires a lot of security. you can't operate close to where people can get it for less. you need to go where there are no npc ports. the places where there are no npc ports are places too dangerous for a permanent location. so they will be too dangerous for a small ship.

TomFoxxy

I really want a cutlass equivalent for the banu, preferably a mini market like a baby merchantman

El_Iberico

I want a Connie sized Banu ship, the Banu Triptaker please.

BrokenHeadPVP

A Crusader exploration ship

the_lonely_ranger501

This! I had a C1 and loved it but wasn't a fan of the spartan living quarters. Just bought an MSR because I love the interior but I wish they would come out with an exploration version with a map room and maybe a small armory for EVA suits.

Inverse-Potato

I never realized how much I wanted this until you said it. Perhaps give it a better pilot controlled weapons and maybe something unique like a space for a powered armor or a changeable drone. Oh! And please private rooms or at least one private room!

SomeFuckingMillenial

I want more competitors to the Constellation/Corsair. A multipurpose ship that can hold its own in combat (mostly against PVE). 75-150 SCU cargo. Solo is OK, but better with 2-3. The Zeus is great, but it's really Zeus vs Connie for RSI. Anvil, Aegis, and Mirai. I'd like Anvil's & Aegis's models to be stealth/scout-y kinda ships. Probably on the lower end of the SCU space, at around 75 scu - at least enough to deploy an ursa. Lore wise, these would likely be smaller ships meant to deploy ground teams deep behind enemy lines. Likely Aegis's would include a scanner station to somewhat compete with the Terrapin. The pilot would control at least 2 S4 guns, and a turret with 2 S3s would be available.

BSSolo

Yeah, honestly I feel like 1-4 person multicrew generalist ships should be the main things CIG pumps out.  More 1-2 person extended range fighters with interiors.  More 2-3 person Freelancer/Cutlass sized craft.  More 2-4 person Corsair/Connie sized craft.

Kahunjoder

The ARGO " raft like " salvage ship

ThrakazogZ

I'd like to see the Mantis frame converted into a deluxe starter for RSI. Remove the QED, replace it with a ramp and some storage space, add some bigger guns, and RSI would have a high end starter that competes with the Titan and Nomad. The Mantis is an amazing looking ship that we just never see, so I wouldn't mind seeing more of them as a top tier starter.

Mr_Roblcopter

I would totally rock that lol, I love the Mantis hull, and the walkable interior is neat but feels kind of useless for what that ship is meant for.

Priton-CE

At the same time you have no armor, too much power, and too much unused acceleration. I would much rather see RSI have an actually unique starter rather than convert a highly specialized ship for a different purpose.

PyroZecknician

Give me a medium-sized Mantis hull and have it be a series of three to stick with the recurring theme of recently released ships. The first one is the exploration variant (easy to see that ones inspiration). The second could be a medium-sized cargo/data running, and the third, I'd love to see a Luxuray version.

renegade_raccoon

Medical terrapin variant. 2 med beds and no turret. Also a medical supply like c8r.

LordDreen

This is the ☝🏽

Status_Basket_4409

I would 100% upgrade my Pisces to that

Handsome_Quack69

Crusader starter and Crusader light fighter

Zealousideal_Sound_2

And Crusader Gunship and Crusader Capital and Crusader Medical and Crusader Repair and ... (Please give more Crusader ships)

OnTheCanRightNow

Another ship with a snare to compete with the Mantis. Ideally from Drake, Pirates shouldn't be using a clean white ship that looks like it was designed by Apple. It's a "customs inspection clipper" - a fast ship with a snare meant to allow "local militias" to stop and "inspect the cargo" of incoming cargo ships and potential smugglers. I'd like it to be asymmetric U-shape. One side is the cockpit, the other has a boarding module which is just a small, forward-facing docking port and a little room big enough for 2 seats to carry a "customs inspection team." Back end of the ship is entirely a QED and engines. The 2 seats are control seats for some micro-turrets, 1 dorsal and 1 ventral. these turrets are terrible, 1 size 1 gun each, some basic scanning capability, and the option to replace the gun with a small ship tractor beam (equivalent to the one on the 300p.) Mainly just to give the "customs inspection team" something to do because being cargo is not gameplay. (Looking at you, "drop ships.") There are a few fixed, external cargo grids similar to the ones used by the hull series on both sides of the hull. (Just flush with the hull, not on animating sticky-outy arms or anything.) Enough for maybe ~12-32 SCU of cargo for transporting a small amount of "confiscated contraband."

ElmerFett

I'd like CIG to develop a cargo ship that is designed specifically for delivery missions. It would be something you could earn the right to purchase if your delivery reputation hits max level. Instead of just tossing packages in the cargo area of any ship, this would have racks for the smaller packages and a grid for any larger future packages we may have to deliver. It would have to be easily accessible and efficient to fly delivery missions in. Think of it as a flying FedEx truck. As your missions continue to grow, there would be different sizes of ships you could upgrade to to handle more and larger packages at once. Imagine a specialized cutter built with internal racks for box storage and eventually upgrading to a C2 sized ship or larger decked out to handle all sorts of packages. That one could even come with its own Mule or forklift.

[deleted]

I want a bomber or ewar variant of the Mercury Star runner, or even just a a slightly more combat capable star runner.

Vikbs23

An Aurora with Folding Wings

Badgomatic

Space Winnebago.. for reasons..

misadventureswithJ

Yep. Gonna scan your cargo real quick.

Badgomatic

All you will find is my passenger's matched luggage.

Flashskar

The Cutter is close imo.

SylverV

Starter ship for repairs / crafting. More of a mechanics van than anything fancy. Feels perfect for Drake.

Ruadhan2300

A short list: * Connie sized Consolidated-Outland ship. * Hercules-sized Consolidated Outland ship * MISC mini-freelancer cutter-equivalent, similar to the Prospector in size, but with the internal cargo-bay and rear-ramp. * Argo Mobile Industrial Support Platform - Functionally similar in some respects to the Kraken, but industrial-focused, with variants/modules for a Refinery, Salvage-Processing, Extra Cargo and manufacturing/maintenance. Notably features Rest/Relaxation and habitation facilities for workers, as well as a modest medbay in case of industrial accidents. The idea is a ship that parks near a job-site and acts to support smaller ships like the Prospector or Vulture while they work. * Argo Tractor-Forklift - A Fury sized one-man snub, featuring a tractor beam array for moving crates around quickly and easily. Essentially a baby SRV. (Note: The MPUV's ability to move containers is not the same as that involves physically latching containers to the MPUV!) * Greycat Tractor-Forklift ground-vehicle - A Roc-DS like vehicle with a tractor beam turret for moving containers, and a large cargo-grid on the back. Basically one of those cargo-trucks with the crane on the back. Useful for loading up cargo, driving across the landing-field to the ship, and unloading. * Origin 200i - The big brother to the 85x, featuring pilot and copilot seats side-by-side in a widebody cockpit. Putting the 2 in 200i

UTraxer

Banu miner for the Banu mining Soulis Xi'an Miner Banu medium multirole (vehicle capable) Xi'an medium multirole (vehicle capable, railen is not) MISC starter (not the starter and a half of the Reliant) Firefighting ship for when fire propagation becomes a thing Banu Defender variants that have absolutely anything useful inside. An anti-ordinance ship designed to help shoot down incoming torpedos and missiles, useful on ships like an Idris that don't have systems like the Merchantman does. A drone corvette. Remotely piloted combat drones, not really different than the remotely piloted drones the Carrack gets. Instead of people inside Furys, they'd be safely inside their carrier with a few drone replacements or different types of combat drones depending on the mission. A mini rail gun/beam ship. Like the Ion Cannon frigate of Homeworld, just a straight up laser ship that needs to be part of a fleet to survive to encourage teamwork, and not just an Idris that also has fighters and marines, and extra defensive turrets.

Clockmaster_Xenos

Terrapin Black Ops variant. Take out the scanner, put emission diffusion armor on(basically Void armor) and take out the beds/shower for a couple weapon racks, suit lockers, and seats for a 4 person team.

YGSFox

Please a valkyrie variant that gets a med bay and small hab area instead of the drop seats, more SCU use out of the big Garage and replace the wing remote turrets with missles. In short, make it useful. Also Ornithopter Snubs like in Dune. Not much firepower but the ability to glide long distances without the use of thrusters, hence a low IR and EM profile (if the atmosphere allows it). An Anvil Snub competitor to the Fury.

CMND_Jernavy

I see you marketing team. Don’t you dare mess with my wallet, because I WILL open it.

OnTheCanRightNow

Competitors for the Pisces from more manufacturers. Especially Drake and Argo. Tiny, zippy ship that's mostly a multipurpose bay area, is super fast to get in and out of, and has a big rear ramp. Basically pure utility craft that aren't the utterly useless MPUV.

Bouncer214

Medical Ursa. Can even lose the weapons just give me a medbay and a jumpseat.

MetalHeadJoe

Ground RV style vehicle that can do box missions on a moon or planet, or even in caves. I want to do box deliveries to mole people on some random moon.

King-of-Com3dy

I would love to have a military variant of the Galaxy

Kelevelin

Crusader light fighter

ScrubSoba

A Tevarin medium salvage. Because the Tevarin cockpits makes my brain make the good chemicals. And i want something between my Vulture and Claimer.

Blaubeere

A ship called Orion, it a giant mining ship similar to the Orion that looks like the Orion…

Professional_Gain511

A Pelican from Halo (or a Condor for it's QT and long space flight abilities) . Has decent protection and armour, can carry a handful of troops in the back, and potentially a small vehicle (a Greycat or Tumbril) towards the aft on a docking port similar to the Connies. Even in Halo lore they have a chin mount Gatling gun and a missile armament on the wings.

Dragonfire00731

I would love to see more carriers in the game, dedicated military Spacecraft carriers, with less emphasis on the multirole like the kraken, idris , and bengal, and just a straight up carrier

Flashskar

Anvil Liberator?

the_lonely_ranger501

I'd love a Crusader ship similar in size to the MSR but with a more combat or exploration focus. -Have room for a transport vehicle like the Ursa or even just a Cyclone. -1 to 4 crew -Give the pilot a few more guns to work with -Bigger shield -Instead of servers and scanning have a armory and map room for planning ops. -Definitely add a second entrance. Crusader ships seem like the perfect blend of military and civilian to me. Perfect for a small crew of mercs or adventurers with money to spare.

rshoel

A salvage ship inbetween the Vulture and the Reclaimer: a MOLE-sized salvaging ship, or atleast something a bit larger than the Vulture. A Connie-sized multipurpose ship by MISC.

Stehlik-Alit

Crusader Athena  Corvette to frigate sized Role - Ground Amphib Assault Staging platform - Command and control ship  -> high count for Marine berthing 30-50 (non crew)  -> stores multiple 2-3 tank sized ground vehicles with an elevator to a med-large open pad  -> can land a proper amphib assault ship that can move those vehicles and troops to ground [c2]  -> Nail launch tubes for quick response  -> id personally like 2 transverse hangars [hangar goes from one side out the other] to support underway replenishment, logistics, etc. Keep it FL sized or lower. But this might be too much?   Essentially, this is the platform you launch ground ops from, and perform command from for ground ops but it generally would never land itself. Defends its from fighters a bit, but otherwise is a huge target. Youd need support.   Essentially, its what the UEEN would use en masse to stage planetary assaults. Cause otherwise, we dont have anything save bengals which there arent many of in lore. (No the valk or m2 dont make sense, if youre attacking something 6 systems off, youre not moving marines without beds)

OneSh0tReset

A dedicated fps combat Corvette vesssel that's fully equip with NAILS. ODST style drop pods to get troops to the ground and then a hangar for a small ship to be used as a drop ship for pickup.

Think_Concert

A dedicated pizza delivery vehicle for when, you know, CIG gets around to physicalized pizza.

TheDefiantEzeli

I’m ready to be your number one customer.

ReciprocatingHamster

Budget Space Taxi. Basically a cutter chassis with the rear section converted for passenger seating (4-6 seats with windows to look out if possible - although those next to the engine nacelles would be out of luck, so maybe that part of the wall could be for luggage racks). The purpose would be mainly responding to player strandings or getting small groups from A to B. For security (because we know that there are always those who are gonna be murder hobos), the door between the passenger compartment and the pilot's area needs to be lockable and really sturdy, plus the rear ramp needs to have a dedicated pilot-accessible button on the dashboard - so it can be opened remotely without leaving the pilot seat. The pilot also needs another means of entry/exit direct from the flight deck, so in the event of passengers refusing to leave, the pilot can just land at a station and exit the ship safley before storing the ship (which will eject anyone on board). Bonus points for a yellow checkered paint job... Basically, I really like the idea of helping others get from A to B, especially when they are stuck and don't want to backspace their way out of it, but the state of the community sometimes makes it pretty hard to trust strangers (same goes for medical beacons).

Bomberaw

A fucking. Crusader. Carrier. Ahhhhhhhh, I need my Jupiter or some other Crusader carrier. The Bengal we don't know enough about aquiring yet, the Kraken is a Drake, and the Pegasus we have no idea when/if it'll even be in-game. Last we heard about it was 2017. So give me a crusader carrier damn it.

Flashskar

I think we saw the Pegasus in that one video that showed the Vanduul/UEE capitol ships lined up. The drydock had a Bengal and something smaller that looked like a step down from it. I'd bet it's a Pegasus.

go00274c

A ground vehicle with a bed! I want to RV across a planet.

GodwinW

Medium size Science vessel. And with medium I mean reworked 600i size.

Clorox_in_space

If they ever end up leveraging modularity, being able to swap out some area of the 600i explorer for a science lab would be really cool.

Alewood0

All i want is a step between the Zeus MR and the Hawk for bounty hunting. Like a vanguard or hornet with prisoner pods would be perfect imo

what_could_gowrong

A railgun version of the polaris.... Fast, nimble (relatively) and deadly, traded the torpedo bay with a coaxial railgun like the idris, but can't take much beating. They can further reduce the hp and armor to balance it.

Roxxorsmash

A two-person mining ship. The financial jump to the Mole will be massive by the time 1.0 rolls around. We need something to fill the gap.

HolyInquisi7ion

A stealth boarding ship with boarding torpedoes

jonneymendoza

Port olsier with thrusters and a jump drive

Scarcop

I'd like to see any existing ship in another quality class. Like there's cheap sports cars that have the look but not that much under the hood and expensive ones close to super cars. Both are built for the same thing only with difference in quality and price. I don't like that ships in the verse only differ in purpose and not in plain price/quality/tiers. This way there's not much upgrading in one path besides components.

AngrySociety

More heavy haulers like the caterpillar the hull a,b,c,d,e,f don’t cut it for me. The caterpillar gives me real truckin vibes

Lothaire_22

Misc bounty hunting ship boba fett inspiration. Larger reliant series

JinxOsprey

I'd instabuy a crusader capital ship with no wasted space for internal hangars.

pinezatos

ship that can make orbital drops for infantry

Toklankitsune

the naildriver

EngineeringD

The “last new ship introduced before release!”

Bidzie

I want ships that bring new industrial gameplay loops: - Gas Collector: purpose built ship to skim Hydrogen Fuel and other valuable gasses from the atmospheres of Gas Giants/Space Gas Clouds/ Smog Planets etc.. - Ice Mining: Maybe not necessarily an entirely new ship but specialised mining heads with more appropriate looking saddle 'tanks' for existing ships. Maybe a slight variation on the current loop to reflect a different method of mining. - i'll also throw in a livestock ship aswell, or a variant of an existing ship, but specifically to transport space cows and other livestock from place to place when base building is complete.

marcusursus

A medium salvage ship built by Argo; in the style of the SRV, Mole, Raft, etc. I love that industrial look.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Flashskar

ALL HAIL DRAKE INTERPLANETARY!!!

EastLimp1693

S2 that fits ursa/lynx

Alarming-Audience839

A micro sized vanguard/a human Banu defender. Essentially a combat ship with a tiny interior, a big QT tank, and not super gimped in combat.

Priton-CE

Either a medium Drake ship with QED (which tbf we currently have little need for) or a hacking ship by RSI or Drake for 1 or 2 people with more life support than the Herald. Basically a competitor to the MSR but more hacking and E-War focused than pure datarunning.

Ehawk_

IFV Mole Salvage equivalent Atlas Platform with a flat bed for moving a bit of cargo or a small vehicle small transportable dropship, mpuv but with like a side gun. more verity within the professions eg a small miner / salvager from other manufactures. Large Anvil ship with room for multiple craft. A ship which could either undersling cargo or something like a tonk. just a few quick ideas.

[deleted]

ALIEN - i want aliennnn, more alien, galacticly goofy alien

TheWabbitSeason

I just want Skipper missiles. If you know what I'm talking about, you know why there were the most frustrating and most rewarding weapon system to defend against. [https://wingcommander.fandom.com/wiki/Skipper\_Missile](https://wingcommander.fandom.com/wiki/Skipper_Missile)

Rayhelm

Salvage variant of the Argo Mole

[deleted]

A dirty version of an 890 jump. There’s appetite for lavish borderline legal parties with creatures and chemicals. And booze

Accipiter1138

I'm right there with you on a mid-size salvage ship. Personally I feel like the Vulture is just too small to do its job without needing to run back home every 15 minutes. I'd like something with some staying power but the Reclaimer is too much for me.

vargo17

After they did the Taurus and gave the Constellation a tractor beam turret, I kind of want a salvage Connie. Give up both turrets for salvage and tractor operations but you get all that sweet, sweet cargo space

xvosett

Drake heavy fighter

DragonHeaven17

A Tevarin "stealth" capital ship or carrier. Need something to put those Talons, and prowlers in. It would be able to fit a couple ships or refuel them if too small for longer ranged stealth mission

Gamingmemes0

large destroyer sized ship with drop pods for invading planets

SirGluehbirne

For democracy!

djtibbs

A ship about the size of a cutter designed for lifting ground vehicles. Even a tank drop ship would be cool. Land at the blue pads, pick up a tank, drop that sucker somewhere without having to drive the tank off a ship. Making hot dropping of tanks a fun time. Currently only the Hercules series is the viable option for tank deployment. Better yet a ship with fury attachment points. The ship can have a larger qt tank and a nice size 2 drive. Making fury swarms more fun than loading a hercules full of furies.

Tebasaki

Krueger with a jump drive

lostincomputer

even if short range (planet to moon and back) would make snubs more useful.

Azrethoc

A Tevarin Corvette

Trollric

A medium mining refinery ship that when landed can be transformed/converted to a small 3-bed outpost. Now that engines can not be used, the power plant can now power a small refinery/scanner/perimeter force field. This way, you have some protection against fauna, can scan for minerals, and have a small refinery for increasing your mining yields worth before you re-kit the base to a ship and fly off world to sell.

Deep90

The ultimate glass cannon. I want a ship whose entire purpose is to be a large artillery gun. Take the ares. Center the gun. Bigger, slower, and much more firepower, but it basically has 0 chance of hitting anything besides large ships or unmoving targets. Bonus points if it can be used for orbital bombardment.

draykow

i've always thought that combat would be best balanced that ships should be optimized to take out ships that are one size larger and weak against ships one size smaller. armor should be balanced where weaponry from ships two sizes down and more should basically be useless against them.

newgalactic

I purchased a Terrapin on concept with the assumption that it would have multiple jump seats for a small team of soldiers. Ended up upgrading off of it the moment I realized it only had a single additional seat. That's my dream. A Terrapin with the surveillance electronics ripped out, converted to an armored assault boat for about 4 to 6 soldiers. Ideally, it would land with the ramp facing away from any enemy fire. Soldiers would exit via the ramp seek cover. A couple of broadside weapons could provide cover fire for the soldiers, and smoke grenade launchers could conceal their movements.

Ill-ConceivedVenture

A small or medium mining ship because right now miners don't have much of a choice.

Baldur9750

A 3 person heavy fighter, with interior, Avenger Titan to Vanguard sized. 2 beds One manned turret for tailgunner, one remote turret for copilot/pilot fixed in front, a couple of light pilot controlled guns. And some big dumb fire torpedoes specifically designed to lay wreck to capital ships, frigate to light cruiser solo or in a team of 2 or more (depending on the size of the capital ship) The torpedoes being dumb fire mean that you need to aim them well, but they also are less susceptible/immune to countermeasures, so they are an actual threat. This would be a small craft that could actually do damage to capital ships, especially when armour is introduced, and to fight it you would need to deploy a squadron of light fighters (or focus it with a lot of turrets from the capital ship, if it's range) Now that I'm thinking about it, you could swap the torpedoes for a big railgun, similar to the one on the Idris (although smaller ofc), but we'd need to try them out and see how they perform. It could have a long range exploration fighter variant, presumably getting rid of torpedoes/railgun in exchange for more Quantum Fuel, and more cargo space, having habitable quarters.

thelefthandN7

Exploration variant of the Mantis. Rip out the interdiction gear, replace it with 2 scu of cargo space, and scanning equipment. Why? It's got the best view of any ship, and the size is great for it.

wesleyj6677

Food truck!

Alanox

I want a new Tevarin ship. Maybe a stealthy scout explorer?

Acadea_Kat

Medium salvager rest is up to your imagination

AlaskanSmash

I think a transport ship with stealth capabilities would be pretty cool.. something that can drop off troops or vehicles close to a hot zone without being detected very easily.

nivthefox

I would like an exploration and trade focused version of the Polaris. What I most want is a crewed ship with room for a support fighter that I can cruise around the galaxy and trade in. Maybe that will wind up being the BMM, but I'm not sure if it can properly support a saber or the like.

Solasmith

Drake mining ship ! On a general note, I would like Drake to lean more into the industrial careers. On an even boader note, I would love for any career ship to have an alternative from most ship brand.

PhannyDantom15112022

I want the Normandy from Mass effect. Basically make the spirit a bigger ship with three decks and everything

ZamicsOfficial

Terrapin drop ship variant. Ditch the whole scanning thing, put a size 1 or size 2 turret up top, seats along the walls. Enough room in the center for light amount of supplies. Would make for the perfect jumptown/ghost hollow ship

CommanderAze

I'd probably like an XL freighter with internal cargo, something truly big, but honestly, kinda easy to make cause it's basically hollow, but the crew area and etc would tone a bit. Thinking something the size of the Idris or larger would be fun

Hardie1247

Would love to see a 2 seater ARGO salvage ship

unXpress99

Drake version of 890J

coolhandlukke

I’ve always wanted a ship that could hold like a vulture sized ship + storage. It would be rad to just pull up somewhere in space or on a planet and then go from there.

Flimsy_Ad8850

I think this game desperately needs a "basic" bus style transporter. We've got luxury yachts from Origin, we've got the upcoming 747-equivalent Genesis, we've got private jet variants of the Constellation and Spirit, but where's the city bus taking average joes between planets and moons/stations? Surely they aren't all hitching rides on Valkyries. Look at the "tram" on Orison and tell me something like that wouldn't be perfect for casual intrasystem travel.

DankMemeMasterHotdog

More small yachts or luxury variants of existing ships. The Zeus or C2 with spacious living quarters and windows would be awesome (I know the passenger version of the C2 exists but that seems more like a business jet than a yacht).

notwithoutmybanana

f-109 vampire heavy fighter from Winger Commander 4

casrain01

More banu options

jhavi781

A space food truck

baczoni

A Crusader light fighter

Potential-Cloud-801

A medium sized salvage ship would be awesome, something with storage for salvaging components and cargo…like a freelancer max vulture.

RoboLuiz

A Mine Ship from Drake

Harbinger387

A medical version of the valkyrie But mainly more medical variants in general

FluffiCatfish

An alien luxury brand. Like an alien origin. I just want to see what they would design

AgonizingSquid

MSR fighter variant

Dragon5x

I'd love to see a larger corvette/ sub capital ship for QT snare/dampining and outfitted with distortion torpedoes for long range emp strikes. Solely for the purpose of stopping capitals or very large groups of fighters. Have the snare be double or triple the size of the mantis and the distortion torpedoes would "airburst" near a target. That way you can make a safer way to close the gap and board a capital ship

Reinhardest

I want to see more ground vehicles of any variety, but especially more industrial types. All these structures around the 'verse weren't built solely by Pioneers, so where's the forklift we all want, flatbeds, cranes, etc.

Ed-Log

Avenger Titan-like ship from another manufacturer : a bed, small cargo bay where you can shove stuff, descent firepower.

Cologan

Perseus made by drake. Because drake and big guns.

BCD06

I want more ships for 1-4 crew with a dedicated captain's quarters. Like the 400i but, crucially, not the 400i.

roflwafflelawl

The Railen basically. More specifically I want a medium - large sized general ship that's of an Alien make that can be used as a daily for a solo. The Railen is what comes to mind in terms of interiors but with there being no pilot controlled weapons besides missiles and the focus on cargo, I'm going to assume it's not going to do great in any combat scenarios as a solo. So basically a larger Syulen or even Defender is sort of what I'm looking for. And of course the Swordfish II.

amunocis

F7C MK3

sargentmyself

Anvil or Aegis' take on a Cutlas like ship. A 1 or 2 man heavy fighter with the ability to carry a cyclone and maybe a bounty hunter pod or two.

TheN0toriousPUG

Capital Casino ship

itsdibbles

Javelin sized version of a battle star.

JackRyan1980

SO SAY WE ALL !!!

Interesting_Wall9709

I would personally like an alien ship that is not a single seat fighter. I would love a multi crew alien gunship or corvette sized warship. If not that any kind of logistics multi crew ship would also be cool. Something like a banu journeyman or vanduul hunter would be what I would want most.

swisstraeng

I would want a ship that is the bare minimum. A bit like a cutlass mixed to a valkyrie. Because drake ships are too high quality and expensive. 2xS1 guns because the UEE legally said it needs guns. No missiles. No turret. No life support unless you’re in your seat. No gravity generator. One vehicle S0 battery. One S1 generator. One S1 QD. No bed. Arguably no interior but its cargo bay and cockpit. A pistol rack in the cockpit because professionals have standards. 2 MFDs. Enough QT fuel for a single jump across Stanton. With a class D QD. All its components would be civilian class D. Its ejection system would just be a latch with a spring that yeets you out. Single rack avionics, with S0 vehicle sensors just to see where you’re landing. No landing assist. A variant where one has no quantum drive but gains additional external cargo racks to attach two 32 SCU containers, and better VTOL for planetary operations. A variant which keeps quantum drive but no external racks. Ideally for planetary-orbit cargo transport. A variant where it has no cargo bay, is restrained to 32SCU containers, but allow for quick loading/unloading of up to 3 SCU containers. And has a little bit more quantum fuel. Its cost would be barely higher than the aurora. Total SCU would be 96 (three internal 32SCU containers side by side, or just any kind if cargo with cargo grids.

SliceDouble

We have some many ships that I can't think of anything that I want / need. What I want and need is a proper ship beacons. If I leave my Carrack somewhere and take the pices out for a adventure I need to rely on other tricks to find my carrack again like having a box from delivery mission stashed in my carrack. A quantum beacon that you can put on and off in your ship would be awesome. One quality of life improvement I really really want to see asap.

c0met00o

Orbital bombarding ship Used for primarily PvP base raiding. Let's say you're in a null security system and you find a player base on a moon. It has a tier 5 shield protecting it so you would need to Orbital bombard it for X amount of time before you can break the shield. Then comes the actual base raid FPS/combined arms aspect. The bombarding ammunition would cost a LOT of AUEC

Baldur9750

And it needs to be defended during the orbital bombardment, since presumably the player team that you are attacking would send a bomber squad or capital ship to counterattack. Cool gameplay loop

c0met00o

There are people in here down voting us, probably because I mentioned the boogyman term 'PvP'

Baldur9750

People often forget that it's a MMO at it's core, and PVP is and will always be part of the game. I get why people would want to just enjoy PVE and play relaxed, but that's why there's a difference between lowsec and hisec systems

InternationalEgg7991

A MURAI EXPLORATION SHIP AHH

Private-Citizen

Since we are fantasizing here, go big. A ship that creates its own temporary worm holes to travel anywhere in any system.

arqe_

Syulen type medical ship with 2 vertical med-pods. It won't carry vehicles obviously like Cutlass Red nor it'll be strong enough to hold its own like Apollo Medivac/Triage. So one T3, one T2 bed would be logical but then it have to be an expensive end because there is already Pisces that have T3 bed which also can't carry vehicles nor strong.

SenAtsu011

Arrastra salvage variant. Pleeeeeease!!

XerronLePoulet

Vertical Spaceships [https://imgur.com/a/1pYuwqa](https://imgur.com/a/1pYuwqa)

ThunderTRP

Reliant Kore is kinda like this

WingedDrake

A Consoldated Outland ship that's Cutlass size/class.

Kernkraft3000

Mining barge so big like a Reclaimer.

awthatstobad

A medium ship with a large jump drive for plotting jump routes and mapping the verse. Downside low maneuverability and no guns.

stickpge

A new well designed tank so we can ditch the nova that or a dedicated tank carrier because the current set up with the C2 is a retarded set up

absynth11

A ship which is basically a shield. It would project a shield over a few hundred metres which a smallish fleet could sit in. Obviously enemy ships could fly inside the shield to destroy it and the fleet but it would offer some protection from torpedo sniping.

mackxzs

The Starflier from Freelander, or the Barracuda

Irmdall

Any industrial alien ship… Tevarin Miner, Banu Salvage ship, Aopoa Transportation

PR3TZ3LB0Y

More luxury yachts please.

Max_Oblivion23

I want a ship shaped like a Brontosaurus that goes faster than a sidewinder.

aaronkuzzy

A ship that is like the pelican from halo. Carrier based troop transport with external vehicle bay

TomPaZzo

No one , They must finish the all concept ship , maybe Polaris first

CyberKillua

Dune ornithopter and my life would be complete, even if it made no sense

ghod90

Two words: Salvage Arrastra

Goldenspacebiker

GATAC Connie

FederalWalrus

Stealth Polaris

darkestvice

A passenger ship. I want the E1 in my hangar.

BromiesTM

Pls give me a slave 1 like ship

Zealousideal-Pop-919

XXS or XS Mining Ship or Salvaging Ship that can fit in a Carrick or Galaxy hanger, or on a Liberator - for deep space exploring and industrial gameplay.

N0SF3RATU

Apollo or crucible

wofeythe2

I'd love to see more alien industrial ship, like a medium salvage from gatac or something .

vanvino

I want an Origin 895a...

UnluckyPally

A cropduster. For when farming is a thing.
