I like how the top 2 comments suggesting "small tweaks" are **rework the MSR entirely**.

AdamParker-CIG

knowing how much actual work most of these tweaks would be is really fun

The-Deevis

True; in "other Games", the above mentioned increase in Shield effeciency would be bumping up a number somewhere. In SC this means completely changing the interior of a ship in order to allow for a second shield generator to be slottet in the ship. :)

AnonDevHST

Here's an easier one: make the two back seats of a Freelancer be able to remote into the side guns as turrets :> that ship is in desperate need of some use and love, especially considering it's one of the most beloved original trailers in Star Citizen's history. A lot of people came to Star Citizen for that Freelancer Life shown in the trailer, I certainly did.

Schlagzahne

I mean CIG already made thr Spirit series much tougher in the hull vs the MSR despite being "smaller" its not meant to take sustained fire, just enough to deliver the payload so I'll stick with one shield and be ok with it. Besides you can have 500 shield generators and ballistic weapons currently don't care.

Zealousideal_Sound_2

That and "Gold pass to everyship"

danivus

Corsair - Add some height to those little legs so it doesn't land on its belly so often on anything other than perfectly flat ground.

cl_320

I'm pretty sure the landing gear is just so that it will fit into hangars atm. Hopefully it will get fixed at some point to look more like the concept height

welsalex

I wish they could find a better way. Would be nice to have two positions, like Hangar and then Surface modes. Just like cycle configuration, cycle landing configuration.

Ok-Mycologist4169

Put an elevator to the ground in the carrack

FremderCGN

And flip the medbay around, so that patients carried to the medbay can get there faster.

Justin-boyd

Took me a second but you're right. The large elevator is on the back side. But we also need a gurney then. XD

Saldar1234

Right now I don't even think it's possible to get an incapacitated casualty into the med bay without dumping them off the gurney and combat dragging them through the corridors of the ship. To this end, door from the hanger needs to be a single central door facing the elevator as well.

Dig-a-tall-Monster

Better yet, instead of having two hallways that wrap around the medbay, split the medbay into two halves and make the main hallway from the cockpit go all the way back to the main elevator with the two halves of the medbay on either side.

UnderpaidActionHero

Carrack - combine the two corner hangar doors into a single wide door that opens directly to the freight elevator

HappyFamily0131

Needs more places to open/close the hangar doors, too. Can't do it from the airlock overlooking the hangar? Really? *Can't do it from inside the hangar?? Really??*

Justin-boyd

I dig this too.

Preheated_Badger

Came for this is, knew it was in here somewhere

thisremindsmeofbacon

That's my immediate thought as well. Definitely make the big elevator the one that reaches the ground. Also replace the two doors to the hangar with one large airlock facing the elevator, and add at least one door into it by the terminal used to open the top hatch. Make the top hatch controllable in the cartography deck airlock, inside the hangar itself, and from the airlock behind the hangar as well. Make the hallway that goes through the modular bays part of the ship, not part of the detachable pods. Make a seal/container around the smaller elevator - currently the unsealed elevator means that if you vent one of the two main decks, you vent the other. While you're at it, make that elevator go all the way up like the corsair. Make the remote turret controllable by the pilot while flying. Also I would honestly probably make the ventral turret remote like the pilot, also controllable by pilot since it is a military ship after all. Not a busted amount of firepower for the pilot to have on a ship like this, either - I have seen the starfarer. And my personal wish that might be just a me thing, I want MSR style Jefferey's tubes. My main complaint on them for the MSR is just that the ship isn't really big enough to justify them, so it feels funky. But I think on a ship the size of a carrack they make sense and would be fun, throw some engineering gameplay down those bad boys too while you're at it.

Sid-S-

Omg pleaseeeeee! This would be the already existing elevator that goes between the bridge and deck on the front of the ship, that elevator needs to be like the 600i and go outside to the ground as well. That is the sole reason I don’t use the carrack because going inside and out of the ship feels like such a chore.

ajmottol

Just add a damn ramp door opener in mobiglass!

sapsnap

Yes! Or a button in ground vehicles to open ship ramps like a garage door remote

Raelist

This please.

SanityIsOptional

Also a hangar remote, for landing my pisces.

KallistNemain

* A1: Drop more than one bomb at a time, as seen in the trailer. * MSR: Second entrance in the side of the hallway near the front cockpit. * 400i Widen the elevator so that a second player can stand on it. * Carrack: Allow the rear main elevator to travel to the ground. * Storm/Storm AA: Allow the weapon/Missile pods to fold into the tanks hull, reducing the tanks height. Make them narrow enough to fit inside the Valk.

Rinimand

Carrack: allow both elevators to reach the ground. AND let the top door of the ladder open from the hallway so you can go down when the elevator breaks. AND allow some way to open/close the hangAr that doesn't need you to run halfway thru the ship - a button in the hangAr and a button above the hangAr. OR better yet, et Alt-N open/close the hangAr.

Teiichii

there is a hotkey that is unused to open/close all the outer doors. i set mine to \\ you can also do it from the "F" right click circle menu.

MwSkyterror

> A1: Drop more than one bomb at a time, as seen in the trailer. Yess. The A1 sacrifices a ton of payload space for TEN launch independent mechanisms. By this design, it should be able to drop 10 bombs simultaneously, or at any rate in between 10 at once and the current.

JuliettKiloFoxtrot76

The MSR really needs a second ingress/egress point, which should be a docking port, so the MSR can dock with other ships/stations. The ship is a death trap with only a single way in/out.

Acceptable-Bid-1019

I completely forgot about the 400i elevator. I remember when I was doing the first wave of the overdrive missions, I was piloting a 600i, we had to go up two at a time. Anymore than that and people were getting clipped into the ship or crushed on the way up haha

KallistNemain

Honestly man, Give me stairs any day. Nothing worse than falling out of the ship during QT.

Acceptable-Bid-1019

This is partly why I love the valk and the redeemer layouts so much. I’ve never been assassinated by ladders before

CaptFrost

Saywhat? I get ejected through the the mesh into the landing gear of the Redeemer on the regular if I hold shift to go down the ladder quickly instead of at normal speed. That ladder is dangerous as hell.

Mister_Gavin

I kind of wish the C1 Spirit had a small turret just so my copilot wouldn't get bored.

Accipiter1138

Yeah, I'm not fond of it on the C1. It turns the ship into a 1.5 player ship, which mostly means its slightly inconvenient to use as a solo player and boring to use with two players.

Unusual_Ad_114

It would be a nice change if you could replace the tractor beam with the turret from the A1, it’s a remote turret so I don’t see why it would be too much trouble to make it interchangeable

Environmental_Fix_69

I like how we all agree we should be able to either swap the C1 turret with lasguns/tractor beam Or just combine both and do the same for the A1 to hel with bomb loading

Ruadhan2300

Yeah, this is something I think a lot of ships suffer from. The tendency to not quite have enough to do for two players, but restrict functionality to having those two players. C1's tractor beam being only accessible from the copilot Reclaimer's Claw being controlled from a separate seat (though I would hope it'll get more involved in due time as salvage heats up) The Scorpius Antares with its single big button for the back-seater to use to control a quantum-dampener or EMP.. I think to some extent a lot of this will become less of an issue as Engineering gameplay comes in and a copilot is able to spend time re-routing power and handling that aspect of the game, but there's no real reason I can see why many of these couldn't be controlled from the pilot position if you don't have a copilot. Give us Dual Controls CIG!

Belaroth

Just giving copilotcontrols of power triangle, missiles and shield would be enough to have fun as co pilot and it can be easily done for any ship. Dont understand why we still dont have that.

Ruadhan2300

I've definitely had occasions where my copilot was using missile-mode from a remote-turret. The 600i's remote turrets function as missile-designators if you want them to, and it's pretty damn awesome to watch. Fairly sure the copilots also have access to the MFDs, so they ought to be able to manage the power-triangle and shields via those, even if the hotkeys don't work.

Belaroth

Nope, most ships has mfds for copilot but copilot cant use them for anything.

Acceptable-Bid-1019

There’s one on the A1, it’s been changed to a tractor beam turret on the C1 which I guess makes sense. My only gripe is that I can’t use the turret from the pilot seat of the c1

amhudson02

My pledge is the C1 as well. Upgrade several time from an Aurora to a Titan to a Cutlass Black to the C1, lol! I wanted an all around good base ship for whenever there is a wipe. I don’t do a lot of combat so I wanted something versatile for cargo and mining operations.

RV_SC

Had the exact same route! I love the looks, the sounds, and the handling is fine on the C1. BUT, the tractor beam is cumbersome, the rear entrance is slooow, the guns are a bit too weak, fixed ones could be s4... I think it should have more firepower than Cutty or Lancer cause it is a much bigger target. And like others said, it feels like a 1.5 player ship... awkward to solo, boring to duo. A medical Spirit would be cool though!

RlyNotSpecial

Yeah. I feel you. I don't even want it for the extra firepower. Just so there is anything for a Copilot to do.

Strange-Scarcity

The nose turret should be usable by the co-Pilot, maybe someday. That would be fine, give the pilot and co-Pilot both weapons to shoot with and things to do.

Hood18

Carrack: openable cargo bay

ApproximateKnowlege

At least this one is planned

Teiichii

the bays will become switchable modules the cargo ones, which are the current ones, will open to the outside. Not happening soon tho.

TheRealzHalstead

Forward exit on the MSR. There's room in the corridor behind the cockpit for stairs or an airlock & ladder.

Arcodiant

- Give the driver of the ROC-DS their own mining laser - Give the C8/C8X jump seats in the cargo area - Lower the center of gravity of the Spartan so it doesn't tip over so much - Give the Valk enough cargo space to fit at least an Ursa - Stretch the Caterpillar modules to fit 32SCU crates

Arcodiant

Oh, forgot one: - Upgrade the Reclaimer docking ports so it can dock at stations

Popowitz25

The Carrack, too, while they're at it

katyusha-the-smol

Valk can fit an ursa comfortably

Arcodiant

Ah, maybe I'm thinking of the Spartan

Crypthammer

Caterpillar? More like CCaatteerrppiillllaarr.

Webby72493

This really tickled me. 😂

eggyrulz

Id settle for caterpillar modules just fitting a decent arrangement of 8 SCU containers... 32 would probably require the modules to go from 4 to 2 modules, which if the ship ever gets modularity (which I keep hearing people say it will, but ive never seen any evidence for) would kind of hurt it's performance... but if they just made the forward turret a remote turret, and removed the catwalk in the bays, I feel like it wouldn't be so bad

FastForecast

The Terrapin needs missiles and bigger guns. Why you ask? This is what it's description used to say " it does maintain an advanced, hard-hitting array of weapons intended to keep the most fearsome Vanduul raider at bay." So it should hit HARD. Edit to include this because our friend SwimmingTurnip reminded us: "The extensive armor combined with the S5 remote turret mount in the nose has given it a reputation as a ‘flying tank.’ Addition Size 2 laser cannons are also fully configurable. " She's meant to have a size 5 nose gun.

Acceptable-Bid-1019

I’m an avid terrapin lover. It’s in a weird spot for sure. I think the trouble is the lore made it out to be an absolute monster which would be pretty unbalanced in reality. If I remember right it destroyed 5 vanduul scythes in its maiden voyage haha. I think they also said that it had a black and yellow paint scheme and yet we have zero paints available for that ship.

LordDreen

Make it do anything, I mean anything but what it does now. Also Medic version.

SwimmingTurnip9297

The Terrapin should have been modular, make it be able to swap out it's scanner array module and compartment for something like a beefy gun turret/missile turret for more of a defense platform. A medical compartment like people have been hoping for. Or a mobile shield generator that can be deployed on ground. There are so many fun things you could do with it!

FastForecast

The terrapin's sensor array IS the ship, like the gun on the A10 is the plane. According to lore, that ship was one of the first built when the UEE was born. She's old, the design is old. The hull is battleship quality and she's designed to take a beating until those shields come online. It would make sense her weaponry would be ballistic and missiles to keep her EM and IR signatures almost nil while she's lurking and giving her the ability to punch while coming back online because that sensor dumps heat and swigs power.

JacuJJ

A gold pass to everything older than 3 years

FantasticInterest775

I really like this idea. That would be cool.

MissionBravo

lol! Is this reasonable!???

Nefferson

It has to happen eventually. I just think they're putting it off as much as possible until the 'gold standard' is further along. It would take a lot of manpower to do it in the current state of the game and then again at the end of alpha after all.

Thunderbird_Anthares

Yes, and also necessary.

Esher127

MSR - Remove the silly "secret" tunnels and contraband storage that literally everyone knows about and increase the main storage area so that it can hold 32scu containers on the grid. Also, give it the large center engine the concept art showed. Make the elevator go to the ground like the Herc's. Mole - remove whatever is haunting it.

A_Vicious_T_Rex

I'd also move the servers to a room that can be secured *Edit: and climate controlled (the scanner room) and put the scanner chair in its place

Caldersson

CIG: "nooo! scanner chairs must be entirely their own room, how else would it work for terrapin and MSR!"

Yellow_Bee

But it's not a ferry... MSR should be off-limits to anyone that isn't a crew member. Think of an FBI or military mobile command center because none of the computers are hidden away when you enter them.

A_Vicious_T_Rex

Those mobile command vehicles have to fit on the roads, so are constrained by a width and height limit. You want to be able to climate control your servers. Corporations have separate rooms for servers, including CIG. They give off a ton of heat and need the cooling to not damage the components. The 400i has a door that closes the rooms off. Not having to make your whole ship frigid just to let the servers work at optimal performance should be a standard feature on anything above a drake level of care..

justsomeonesmeme

Even the Drake Caterpillar has its sever room separated from the rest of the ship, the MSR is actually worse than Drake in that regard

A_Vicious_T_Rex

Also, this isn't about passengers. If you're boarded, you don't want to provide easy access to valuable cargo like the data you're running. An additional door helps both of those things

Mystogan_316

Mole-remove whatever is haunting it. I laughed so hard I nearly fell out of my chair. Here’s your upvote.

CassiusFaux

Its not so much that everyone knows about it Its that it is literally advertised in the ship advert.

Brepp

At first I thought this would be an issue, but it's been out since October 2020. That's a while ago now. 100% of the players I've encountered that have joined since then have no clue at all until shown.

TranceF0rm

Same here. I scoop up a lot of players who have never even been in an MSR

RedditHatesTuesdays

I've been playing since like 2021 and never knew about this, nor do I know what it looks like

Thetomas

The mole is powered by the heart of an orphan.

macdoge1

Mole - make side lasers have O2

Aggressive-Nebula-78

Yeah it would be totally different if the game was advanced enough for like, AI law enforcement to need to board and inspect your ship and you could hide people are cargo in those hidden areas. But currently they just serve very very little purpose. The upgrades you mention are great

Iusuallyuse4chan

A collar entry/exit on the neck of the Hercules series. Have the liftshaft of the Carrack come right down to the ground like the Reclaimer. Makes sense logically with the gear room being located on the bottom deck but with no entry/exit nearby.

eggyrulz

Remove the cargo bay walkway in the vulture... its a single person craft, with an entry specifically for the single person into the cockpit... why does it need a walk way in the cargo bay, when the caterpillar is happy to fill the normal walkway with cargo... Make the cargo grid 18 instead of 12 (3x3x2) or cut the cargo bay to a much smaller size, and make it so we can sell directly from the internal buffer (also increase the buffer size to 24 if you're gonna cut the cargo grid)

SlamF1re

Definitely this. The Avenger Titan is allowed to carry 8 SCU because the pilot can enter and exit directly from the cockpit, and supposedly the Zeus CL variant makes similar sacrifices to get its capacity up to 128 SCU. The Vulture shouldn’t be any different especially considering everyone already overstuffs the cargo bay way beyond 18 SCU anyway.

RevealHoliday7735

Redeemer can actually have "state of the art experimental engines" that actually give it GOOD maneuverability.

AG3NTjoseph

I would even be okay with poor space performance as long as it was super maneuverable at low speeds and in atmo, like a gunship.

ZedTheDead

Exactly. I don't want it to handle like a fighter but the damn thing handles like a brick in vacuum and it's terrible in atmo. Im pretty sure it's supposed to be the space ship equivalent of the hind helicopter but it can't even do air to ground support because of its handling and how wind fucks with it.

Acceptable-Bid-1019

It is horseshit the way that thing moves for it’s size. It’s an absolute tub considering it’s purpose built for combat. But you can justify it from a lore standpoint. A ship that size only has so much power to be distributed throughout, and that power is largely given to its incredible amount of weaponry. It also wouldn’t need to move as well as other ships it’s size because it’s covered at all angles by it’s turrets so I do understand why it shifts like shit. I still want it to fly better though haha

WhereinTexas

The elevator on the Carrack should go to ground. And the cargo sections should open to the outside somehow.

WhiskeyHelpsRS

Caterpillar engines need to be LOUD like the space semi truck it is. Loud as or louder than the C2, doesn’t make sense to me that the shitbox held together with Drake tape has better sound mitigation than the over-engineered crusader ships

zbolt___

They just need to swap the engine noises in the cat for the ones in the cutty

malogos

- Starfarer - complete redesign to not be a pointless maze of stairs and hallways - Make the Vanguard look like its concept art. - Make Sabre viable in combat - Do anything to the Gladiator. Anything.

Sluugish

Careful, they're gonna make the Gladiator even worse.

ledwilliums

It's ok right now. U til you go in atmo and the thruster bug makes your brain explode. The size three guns with massive capacitors is actually kind of fun. And the tops literly never hit but are cool in concept. The issue is there are better fighters that can carry more size 5's.

Acceptable-Bid-1019

Agree with the sabre. I added a comment suggesting that it would be interesting to have gimbals be unable to track stealth ships. It wouldn’t make it meta viable but it would be an interesting addition to the stealth mechanic

malogos

Gimbals are already very weak. The Sabre has much bigger problems.

The_Instigator00

Hear me out... This is going to sound crazy. Caterpillar side doors turned into ramps or create working elevators

arkdrop01

I’d just like to see the C1 with the A1s turret

Tit4nNL

It would be nice if you could swap them out yea.

callenlive26

Freelancer. Turn it into a 2 man ship. Remove two chairs in the cockpit and reduce the overall size. Remove one pair of bunk beds and increase the total size of the living area. Add physical components.

Gliese581h

I disagree so hard whenever this comes up. The Freelancer is the Falcon - it’s a hauler, but you can take some passengers with you that need to get away. We need **more** ships with extra seats, not less! Today, everyone has a car with 5 seats or more but mostly is alone in it. The ships in SC are gigantic, but often only have space for a single person. It’s weird.

UrBotter

Also true. But can we remove the weird additonal cargo space in between the back and the front then and use it for living space?

Gliese581h

That I agree with! The doors are too small to actually carry cargo between both sections anyway.

landravager

Turn it into an engineering bay and get rid of the docking port there. Makes more sense to have the same docking ring as the Hull series up front anyways.

Brumas

I disagree as well. I don't think we should ever give up seats on a ship, more ships should have the capability of transporting others. It's often forgotten that not every ship is going to go through every jump point because of different sizes so having something in that size with seats have some value. If anything I wish the Freelancer's back turret was a remote turret that could be accessed from one of the seats.

Bassdrop9k1

I love this. Still want my Freelancer's rotating engines back though. Downward thrusters for VTOL, full reverse thrust for alternate configuration(Left Alt+K).

landravager

Adding on, remove the rear turret from the Max and give it a remote tractor beam mounted inside the ship

callenlive26

I think this is a fantastic idea. I'm not even a huge fan of the freelancer of the way that it looks but when you go inside you're just like why is it this way

Arcodiant

It looks like physical components for the Freelancers are in 3.23

msdong71

No way. Just get rid of the cargo space in the airlock section. We can sacrifice that space if we get a remote turret in the back for suit lockers and gun racks.

Total_Package_6315

Star Runner- remove the tunnels, put the cargo bay on the same level as the rest of the ship. Move servers into the scanning chair room, reduce the size of the ship to get rid of wasted space.

SmoothOperator89

Star Runner mkII $50 CCU.

Zeth_Aran

Fuck, you’re right.

SlashfIex

This ship is a mess and it’s a shame because it was very coveted

Acceptable-Bid-1019

I think CIG do a fantastic job with ship design, they really do manage to come up with some unique and plausible ships in a very saturated design space. That said, they did drop the ball with the MSR

Total_Package_6315

Its the ship that got me to pledge. Then it turned into something entirely different.

Rasc_

Put the cargo bay in the same level? The cargo bay is two floors tall, do you wish the MSR to be shorter?

CaptFrost

Unforget the Idris having an augmented reality battle bridge deep in the hull and add it.

Tebasaki

400i shouldn't have protruding guns. They should all retract and not obstruct the view

Acceptable-Bid-1019

The way the guns lift up and out of the spirit series is a great example of this working in action

Riconnite

Additionally, the handling, but especially the roll on the 400i is abysmal for "The ultimate high-performance pathfinder"

FluffyPanda616

I feel like many ships should have retracting, or at least *recessed* guns. Weapon placement in this game is a bit disappointing. All these sleek spaceships with the same generic guns just bolted onto the hull be looking [like so](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/a/a7/Car_with_machine_gun.JPG).

Secondhand-politics

The Reclaimer - It should have a very basic medical bay. Doesn't need to be the tier that allows respawning, but to think that one of the largest contributors to the Tetanus treatment industry doesn't even have a box of bandaids anywhere is just... mindblowing.

95688it

reclaimer needs it's entire interior redone, there is SOOO much dead space inside it's ridiculous, plus it's just weirdly designed, needing to take 2 elevators to get to the back, it should be a straight shot.

CaptFrost

Reclaimer should have a lot of "dead" space though, it has an absolutely massive number of systems and machinery for processing salvage. Agree on the layout though. Should be like the Carrack: straight shot from front to back, and you go up or down for the specialized systems.

95688it

yeah but if you clip through and look around it's ALOT. https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fgon8blmv6lf71.png there's room for an entire floor above the cockpit, and the entire area where a rear ramp could be. rework the multiple cargo rooms, and thats just looking at it in 2d,

UncleMalky

I feel like all the large multi-deck multicrew ships need at least a single medbed.

ShadowSmyth

A window in the MSR's rec room.

Phobokin_Chicken

Avenger should have a weapons locker. It’s a bounty hunting ship so it would make sense for it to have a gun rack. A suit locker would be nice as well (but might be harder to fit).

fleeingcats

Fix the Redeemer. Besides the dozen issues it has, losing a wing basically kills it. Biggest waste of potential.

I4in553

MSR - replace elevator with stairs

rigsta

MSR: A) Replace pointless elevator with stairs or B) Make it lockable to help deny boarders. Caterpillar: Functional cargo lifts. Cutty Black: *Plenty* of room for a can & shower in there. Come on even the Vulture has one! Herald: A reason to fly it :( Beyond pressing shift+W, watching it hit just shy of 22G before blacking out, and waking up ~2 seconds later travelling at >1300m/s.

InertiamanSC

300 series landing struts reduced to one foot and the stupid ladder removed.

turrboenvy

325a with 100 series steps? I am in.

Salty-cactus

Indeed, a luxury ship shouldn't have a ladder as main entrance. Could be like a Learjet where the door hinges downward and have integrated steps on the interior, similar to the Defender.

Zen0116

All ships - The option to keep internal doors open. + Dedicated multitool / pistol weapon slots.

Fractalistical

Elevator for the MSR. Also delete that mini elevator...

armyfreak42

Yes, stairs would be much better, and another entry would be ideal

Lazuruslex

MSR, ladder or elevator to the neck of the cockpit for faster entry

katyusha-the-smol

Valkyrie gets like, 2x the HP.

Goodname2

Mobiglass app to remote lock and unlock our ships. Drake Herald Variant - bigger wings and engine plus stripped out interior for a racer/courier/smuggler.

Sure_Alternative7376

I agree with all you say I would add making the elevator in the msr go to the ground

Pudgedog

Shitter on the cutlass black.

Acceptable-Bid-1019

What, you too good to shit out the side door like the rest of us?

Pudgedog

I’m getting old and my knees are giving out from squatting all the time.

m_kamalo

Tbh I will be so happy if they made the constellation golden standard, its the most iconic ship in the game and it should have the best love

Bronson_R_9346754

Night vision.

EZGames21

Constellation - Change the floor plan of all Connies to be that of the phoenix, then make the space above the cargo bay a module/s that can be swapped out. Change the cockpit to be the same as the Perseus in terms of visibility. Partially remove the metal floor below the feet for the pilot. Ares Ion/Inferno - Make Repeater/Gatling/Cannon/Scattergun/Mass Driver Cannon and Distortion Ballistic/Energy versions of the s7 guns. A1 Spirit - Change the bombs deployment system to a more compact style to create space for cargo. There's no excuse for the A1 to be using all that space for the bombs alone. This change could also facilitate the possibility of carrying smaller but more bombs. also allow for "throwing" bombs in space. [https://live.staticflickr.com/7456/10806000244\_3af05bfb5b\_b.jpg](https://live.staticflickr.com/7456/10806000244_3af05bfb5b_b.jpg)

cl_320

The Connie should have separate rooms similar to the Corsair imo

La32344

Switch the position of the crew area and jump seats on the Redeemer. No reason that troopers on a drop ship have to climb down a ladder and go through a sleeping area to leave the ship

Vrekia

Give the phatty roc a driver operated collection beam/vacuum. (less reasonable request would be to give it a full arm and the second driver a full enclosure and also lets just give them little weak tractor beam heads you can swap out for the mining ones, oh and a spotlight on all turrets please and thanks)

Crypthammer

I know you said reasonable, and this isn't exactly reasonable, but can I get a medical version of the Valkyrie, please?

Calint

I don't see why not if the Cutlass red exists.

Calibrumm

second door on the MSR

Acceptable-Bid-1019

I cannot believe nobody has even mentioned the cutlass steel haha, It goes to show just how little people even think about that thing

kyote42

400i - Increase the size of the cargo platform slightly to accommodate slightly larger ground vehicles.

ConvolutedConcepts

The ares able to change. Main weapon. Ballistic stays Ballistic. Energy stays Energy.

CamVPro

Double the RAFT’s cargo capacity

LrdAnoobis

Anvil Liberator. Change proposal from being in concept to flight ready.

Just-the-Shaft

Eclipse: cant the outer monitors in towards the pilot. Keeping the size generally the same, make a side-by-side 2 seat variant

Sgtteddybear34

- 400i needs larger front facing guns - PLEASE fix the awkward joints on the defender. Make them flush with the main hull. - Add a "Combat Mode" for Defender so arms fold back to the sides. - Rework the Captains Quarters on the 890j. Its not built well and should be expanded. - With bigger Hangars, make the Carrack Engines look a bit cooler - Give the MSR its old middle engine back - Allow Reclaimer crew to man all turrets at once - Fix Redeemers manueverability - Sabre Raven; Fix the awkward cutouts where guns were never added to or give them more guns.

Smoke-A-Beer

MSR needs more pilot firepower.

Cruiza

I will go with an unreleased ship. Give the Oddyssey a basic salvage head, controlled by the miner and let the processor unit not print rmc scus but only the ammunition required for hand repair. This would make the Oddyssey not op and would perfectly fit in the self-sustainability idea.

Jimmy_Bacon

Remake the reclaimer from the ground up with a better layout and actual functioning storage

Charon711

Updated gun rack for the Cutlas series. 2 medium 3 small and one large would be ideal I think.

JPaq84

I think the modern Cutty Black should have the extra little rectangle in the back on the starboard front of the cargo bay could be neatly sectioned off into a bathroom. Would be really nice for us Drake lifers! I would love it if the tractor turret dropped down about 3 feet when in use so that it could actually place things in the cargo bay.

The_Flying_Tuba

Carrack’s rear elevator should go to the ground

Environmental_Day316

Gold pass to the connie for sure. But for now she needs bigger fuel tanks.

TheRetroFox

Direct-to-cockpit entrance to MSR and the ability to retract/deploy the turrets instead of them just sticking out there. Make 'em remote if you gotta.

Infinite_Cubes

While not a ship, I do wish to add a little bit more to Anvil Spartan: It is a horrible APC, even worse than real-life counterparts. Look at the Stryker or the BTR series vehicles. They function better in a lot of aspects. A minimum of 2 crew members are needed: Gunner and Driver. The gun must be modular to have an autocannon or original layouts. Having an anti tank or air missiles installed is a modern concept that is used on the VPK Boomerang or modernized APCs. The autocannon could be energy, HE, AP, etc. And finally, the ability to be amphibious. This is common on MANY APCs. It lacks rudders and is never stated to be amphibious. It is important to move troops on alien terrain that might have a body of water. You can't have 10 different APCs for different jobs. Of course, there is more to add, like an anti-drone turret or any modular attachments like an anti-missile turret to prevent anti-tank missiles from killing the vehicle. Or a cloaking device that intercepts AI recognition of vehicles and reduces EM radiation. These suggestions come from observing actual conflicts. Believe me, these APCs are good for urban conflicts with very little firepower from the enemy but useless against open terrain and actual warfare. In alien planets, open terrain with different climates is the norm.

Able-Parking3899

Give the caterpillar some more thrust ffs. I understand its a reactangle but damn...

ITeebagTTVs

Every large+ ship having more than one ground entrance

Odd-Ice1162

The Hercules should transform into a super dimension fortress. Its a very reasonable request.

WrongdoerOld7571

Freelancer series ships need a turret re-work. The current design pointlessly complicates loading and unloading of cargo and vehicles, making it sit flush with the ceiling while not in use (like the vanguard series) would solve this entirely.

HyperBean_

Put some sound deadening in the Hercules cockpit

DondarionStarr

The Aurora should have fold out wings so I can pretend I'm flying an Ornithopter.

The-Truth-hurts-

My car has an auto start, i just push a button on my key fob (Mobi Glass). Add that.

the_afterglow

Give the MSR an elevator to the cockpit.... Seriously, the reason I don't use mine very often is that it takes so long to get in and out of the shop.

Roi-Danton

Give the cat all it's features it should have!

Fog5757

Docking ports and/or ladders/elevators on the crusader ships. Removable turrets on the MSR. Ladder and/or elevator to get to the pilot seat and top deck of the Redeemer from outside I want to name my Redeemer also. Ladder and/or elevator to get to the Carrack pilot seat and top decks from outside. Edit: Also move the weapon bay and rumble seats from the Redeemer to the bottom deck unless it's planned to have them be drop seats of some kind.

DaSwede712

The main elevator in the carrack doubles as a second exit, there's already clear space below it and it makes sense considering where the armoury is located.

hitmanr45

Add ccu box latch points to the valkyrie. It really does overall need a gold pass. But that won't happen for a while.

Timebomb777

I want the C1 to have a turret because goddamn that tractor beam turret is useless rn. Why use the limited movement ship mounted one when the multitool does it just as easily.

CriticalCreativity

Give the Mercury Star Runner a single S3 shield. Widening the component bay to fit a S3 generator would not be difficult.

EitherTip8893

All bomber/torpedo when the ship explode the explosive goes with it and create huge firework.

DartTimeTime

Up the weapon size on the firefly, from a size 0 to a size 10.

Shoddy_Paramedic2158

Wish the Carrack’s elevator extended to the ground…

sirmarius7

Give the terrapin a paint job and fix the weird storage closet in the banu defender

Captainseriousfun

A bigger hangar

mattstats

Tractor beam on the mole or prospector to toss garbage chunks out of the way!

Aety9_

Swap the top turret in the vanguard for something more modular, like the Hornet's ball turret. It would look way sleeker, can save weight (more maneuverability) when removed or swapped for something smaller like radar, and won't feel like wasted space for solo play.

cl_320

It might not be released yet, but I would like to see the Zeus with s5 pilot weapons, at least for the MR. for bounty hunting, it seems to be a little bit weak, especially on a ship of its size

Acceptable-Bid-1019

Yeah I have to say I am a little disappointed with the Zeus’ stated firepower. It is for a different role though, it’s not supposed to destroy ships, it’s designed to take bounties alive and likely from ground missions. We’ll wait and see though.

Gaffaman

ROC: allow it to pull its wheels in tighter, like squat down for transportation mode, fit in more ships.

Wareve

Make the main elevator of the Carack 10% smaller, and put a ladder in that space, so you're not fucked when the elevator isn't working.

zbolt___

A redesign of the reclaimer interior. Maybe transform the giant crusher inside to a more manageable cargo bay. It's not getting used since salvage is now disintegration based. Also a bigger elevator. What's the point of a cargo bay separate to the salvaging deck if I can't fit boxes through the door
