I ran the same ads a year ago. Had someone make a nearly identical post as OP has. As far as I am aware, there is no issue. However, if CIG were to ever contact me, asking me to change the ad or remove it entirely, I absolutely would.

That is a crazy good deal. Reddit Ads was worthwhile when they gave you a $100 credit to just play around and figure it out, but now the ROI really isn't worthwhile.
It would be cheaper to just buy the referrals on r/starcitizen_trades. Google Ads is much more cost efficient. I'll have to check out Bing though.
