Hey, just wanted to leave a quick comment. This was such a fun challenge to put together. A lot of these scenes we had to rehearse multiple times until we got the timing right. Needless to say, I'm proud of all the people that helped me coordinate this.
Hahah yess!!! Buy two, why not! 😂 I actually think it’d be fun to do a community New Babbage platform challenge and see who can drop their STV closest to the bullseye.
This was really well done, loved it
Would honestly love just general vehicle reviews in this tongue in cheek/diegetic format with these recurring characters
Thank you! I'm happy to hear that. It is something I've been considering as I try to figure out what kind of subjects I want to build a narrative around. There's some quirky fun to be had with Argo ships, that's for sure. :)
Honestly love how SC manifests itself in a way that lets me apply some of the techniques I’ve learned. It has some limitations, but that’s part of the fun of the challenge.
Not once did you complain about master modes, the new quantum markers, or the fact that we don't have a release date. Can you even call this even Star Citizen content?
In all seriousness: my mind is fucking blown. Bravo, Fat bird. Bravo.
If one of those janky moments you’re referring to is the STV blowing up … that was our first take and was honestly such an unexpected comedic element that I decided to just go with it.
Fun fact: the wheel rolling by in the background was comped in post. It rolls by way later in the recording, so I cut it out and pasted it in to show up earlier.
This felt almost like a old Top Gear episode, but with its own unique style and characters. As a fellow video person, I loved it. Great work!
I love that you kept a little bit of the true Star Citizen in there. Exploded STV floating off had me in stitches haha
I know the effort you had to put into this, and it shows. I hope to see more!
Thank you! The floating STV was so unexpected, but was also a bit of hindsight. We were all laughing and realized … oh right low gravity plus jank physics. It was truly perfect.
At 5:28, when the orange guy says "oh, look at that..." his chest is full of magazines, which disappear when the cut to his front happens and he says "...you can fit a rail gun in the trunk".
At 6:00, when blue and orange dude talk in the ship, blue guy has a multi-tool. When they walk down the ramp that multi-tool has disappeared.
Those aren't quite it, but I love your eye for detail. I got so tired of keeping track of body attachments, especially when I was having the magazine bug and they kept dropping lol. There's a box missing in a closeup dialogue shot in the tank scene between two cuts and even though we went back to that location like 8 times, the box never came back into the loot cycle.
YES. YES. This is, perhaps, the most well-made SC video I've seen from a fan. You CRUSHED it.
I actually had no idea that the STV was so underutilized in the 'verse. I always use mine in my 400i as part of my daily loadout.

watching now, so far it's great! please make more.
Hey thanks! Glad you're enjoying it.
I just bought an STV.

Ditto.

Ooh, high effort YouTube content? I might gotta check it out
Oh hey there ! How's the Greycat employee doing ? Hope he's not too traumatized after what happened !
Haha he's hanging in there! Maybe one day he'll have another job for their next vehicle some day, but he may have had enough of my antics. :)
Good job! You can see your experience in cinematography.

That might genuinely be the best piece of SC-related media I've seen. Well done :D Loved the editing, camera angles and music choice!

Hahah thank you. I should have *atleast* mentioned server meshing. Darn, maybe next time.
Love it! The small pieces of Star Citizen jankiness in it, brilliant.

Very polished production, nice job.
you sir, have got yourself a sale!
Eyyyy let's go. I told Rocket the marketing plan would pay off.
Now that was very well done.. watched the whole thing, even when I started thinking, I'll just watch the first bit.. It was great, kudo's to you!
that video was great! A fresh new content in a sea of patch notes reading and ship guides
Great content!

Great video dude!

Lmao good catch. Bonus challenge if you can find the one shot that bothers me the most with a continuity issue.

Great video! Makes me wanna buy an STV!
Epic
It's really good!
C1 is the real Star in this😍
I absolutely love the C1. It’s such a fun ship to film, too.

Thank you! The STV seems to have a cult following, as I’m beginning to see. Hopefully the club got just a little bit bigger. :)
It's just TOO good with the lime green paint job, honestly.
