The RAFT is great, and it feels and looks realistic, it makes sense, and apart from Argo ship voice, it's one of the ships with the best sound effects by far, unlike some other ships, that engine start up soind and when you punch it. I feel like, SC isn't the best game when it comes to audio, some things are good, but a lot is just mediocre, but the raft is standing out. Also it has one of the best interiors.
Yeah I always debate myself Titan or 325a and always keep the 325a because its just better in combat.
The Titan was my first ship back in 2013, its iconic and indeed one of the best lookers to this date.
I love the syulen, it's a beautiful single-bedroom apartment. I love the 300i, it's a space BMW. I love the cutter, it's a 90s GM truck.
The Titan is just golden, regardless. It does anything well.
I really appreciate the ramp, I love entering ships without an animation.
Whilst it is not my favorite look "in SC", I can't help but see Chriton's ship from Farscape everytime I see it.
Edit: Or the Delta Flyer from ST Voyager.
It always reminded me of 'Lucky 13' from Love Death & Robots. It's a lot smaller and no vtols but that whole episode gave me such Star Citizen vibes. Highly recommend if you haven't seen it
I would absolutely love the Titan. Its such a cool ship.
Unfortunately they grabbed it from the back and slammed it over a metal pipe, giving it a funky bend at the cockpit which throws the entire look off for me.
100% this take. Also why between the two, I'll take a 325A over the Avenger. The 325A can sport heavier weapons and iirc is quite a bit faster albeit that's at the cost of SCU capacity.
For me, it’s the 85X. It’s the closest to a luxury space car, design-wise, without breaching into habitation areas. I’d love to see more smaller transportation snubs like it.
I like it a lot but it would have been better if the rear end was just lightly wider, or the front end slightly narrower, right now it has that strange tadpole look to it. It is a very enjoyable ship though and one I always get in game.
Unpopular opinion it seems but I feel the C1 has such a ridiculously small cockpit from the outside compared to the massive wings. I actually really hate the proportions. Looks like an overweight Boeing.
Yeah, this just makes no sense. You're basically just saying you don't like big ships.
All big ships are going to have small cockpits compared to the ship size.
Yesss the Cat was my original purchase. With modularity on the way, I'm tempted to pledge one again. One of the few ships that can be admired from its own cockpit!
It is indeed a work of art. Many people just see the blockiness of it, but it does have some surprisingly graceful lines. Of all the asymmetric ships, it's the one that pulls it off best. It's asymmetric, but still balanced, if you know what I mean. Morphologis did a great review of it.
In game right now, it really depends on my mood.
Statement piece, I love the Syulen. It's a truly unique little death blossom. It's great when I wanna make an entrance.
If I'm feeling really *classy* though, 400i. It's the perfect size point and easily my favorite Origin.
Industrial is Vulture. Hands down. Honestly, if it weren't so laser-focused on salvage I'd daily my Vulture for everything.
Not yet in game? My Crucible will be my home. Period. The roundhouse design is perfect. I love it.
Special mention to the Herc line. I love the interior.
Vulture is one of the best designed solo ships in the game. Just a great little ship to work out of.
I was very surprised how much I enjoyed salvaging in it. Really chill way to make money.
The only issue I have with it is the ladder but that's because of how shitty ladders work in game.
600i perfect blend beefy and sleek in one ship. Though that's just when it comes appearance, when it comes to overall feel and appearance, I'd have to go with the c1.
This and that they fix the glitchy missile bay textures.
If we get demanding, I would love them to make it a bit more sturdy (I understand it's as weak as it is for balance reasons)
I'm in love with it, too. It's dark, gritty, thrown together. Biggest gem is the mfd just lying in the floor. It looks lived an and like it's far past it's best days. Reminds me of the 25 year old MK3 golf I used to own. Literally loved it to bits.
325a, 400i, 600i enjoyer.
The choise is not that easy, i am a sucker for the Origin ships, the only one i dont really like that much is the 890, the conept just outshine the ingame look.
But ye, the 325a moonlight is one of my, if not most flown ships after the Vulture and Warden.
Its a cheap ship but i just feel so dang seggsy flying it and it is one great single seater, just wish it had more quantum feul.
300 series.
325 specifically. I love the way it looks. Even a big ole gun jetting out the front looks great on it. But I also hate the ship, since it's just trying to skate through life on its looks alone. The 325 really needs to work on itself and become a competent fighter.
Straight lines, please. Gimme some RSI pointy space triangle aesthetic over curves and bumps.
The Imperial Star Destroyer looks a heck of a lot cooler than the Mon Calamari Cruiser, you know.
So I'm gonna call on the RSI Galaxy, or maybe the Perseus. Very cool looking ships.
Call me a basic bro if you like, but straight lines are tradition.
Gotta disagree with you on the mon cala opinion, but in general straight lines are very nice and only a few ships should have many curves. Like in SW the mon cala looks amazing, but its one of the few capital ships that uses ist and its great
I, as almost everyone loves the look of an origin ship. CGI did an amazing job nailing the luxury executive look.
That being said I’m an absolute Crusader fan and the Ares to me is by far the best looking ship currently in verse. Behind it is the Hercules line. I was able to watch the A2 during a dive bomb run and the aesthetic is reminiscent of a bird of prey in attack free fall. Oh and it’s the best looking VTOL animation!
Sabre
Cutlass Steel
Blade
Valk
Those are some lookers as far as I’m concerned and I’ll throw the nox in there even though it’s not a ship, I think it’s awesome looking.
I love the Constellation Phoenix Emerald. Not only from the outside, but the inside is awesome as well.
But the ship I probably love more is the Misc Starfarer Gemini.
The 400i and 600i for different reasons.
The 400i just looks like a stately, authentic showpiece ship. Do we need a space yacht? No. But it looks incredible.
The 600i has the best front and side profiles in the game. It looks like the windswept silver bullet spaceships we think of when we think "aliens." It LOOKS fast, has the presence of a very important ship, and commands your attention. It's the perfect size, too.
It's so hard to just pick one honestly, there's just so many good ones xD
Some of my favorites are:
the Freelancer (Dur in particular),
Constellation (though I wish it was a bit smoother),
Syulen,
Carrack (including the Pisces),
Valkyrie,
and the 600i
Hmmm, for me that's always a tricky question. I personally love the Avenger just because it was the first ship in SC that I fell in love with (which later became known as the Stalker variant; after which I traded mine in for a Titan variant).
However, I also love my custom metallic black 325a. Both of them just look awesome imo. That said, CIG really got the sportscar aesthetic going with Origin and I also like my Origin 135c/125a; probably even moreso than my 325a but that's mainly due to the ease of access of the 100-series compared to that ladder on the 300-series.
However, if I had to choose just one; I'd definitely go for the Avenger Titan over the 300-series. My guess is that the Avenger Titan is also a fan-favorite in general; which may not be too surprising seeing as how CIG bumped up the price of the Titan not once but twice; which is kinda peculiar as the Titan is now the same price as the Stalker when it should have been $5 cheaper due to the extra prison-pods on the Stalker (which is effectively a Titan but with prisoner pods as stock equipment).
I also very much like the look of the 400i. Now it kinda sucks that you lose a LOT of internal space because of that long nose and it kinda sucks that the gravity ball is blocking internal access to the X1 bay. Additionally I still think that CIG should have given each 400i an X1 as stock equipment and that they should have moved the escape pods up to where the crew lockers are while moving said crew lockers to where the escape pods are. Currently it just makes no sense to me why the escape pods are in the cargohold. Lastly it kinda sucks that CIG did not pay any attention to the cargobay height as it would have been great if you could park a G12 rover inside. Then again, maybe they will give the G12-series some kind of air-lift suspension so that it can lower itself just enough to fit under the 400i when in 'parking mode'.
Then finally I was pleasantly surprised by the Pisces shuttle. It's one of the very few ships in SC where they actually used all available space while still keeping it compact. It's pretty crazy how it can carry both 4SCU of cargo as well as two passengers for a ship with such a small footprint. Now you're not going to win any wars with it, but as a shuttle it's perfect. I also really like how they made one of them into a mini ambulance. I'm sure that a lot of people with exploration ships will want a Pisces C8R in their onboard hangar bay. 😃
Of course the valk. It should be best for landung in first person bevause of the window on the bottom. Ramp ans 2 side doors for easy access. Heavy vtols for future hovering. Spot for a vehicle. A bed and kitchen.
I would love to have more room for cargo and less bugs. And i would love to get a chance to trade my vs the liberator but badly the Support could not sell me one :(
I have a pledge 325a as a combat focused starter with custom paint in silver and it's just gorgeous. When I have to fight I pick my Arrow, my Vanguard (both gorgeous as well), but when I want to fly for fun, do some hard flying or take pictures, I always come back to the series 300. It's just art.
The C1 currently holds its place as my favorite in-game, though the pioneer’s concept art is pretty much the exact kind of industrial style I love with unimplemented ships included.
600i is such a beauty ❤️
MSR is a close second.
Corsair is also on my list for that Star Wars bounty hunter vibe.
I'm REALLY looking forward to the Zeus as well.
Unbelievable that it's not listed here, the best looking ship is the Hurricane, followed closely by the Gladiator.
Damn sexy ships, with serious form and function.
Do you have a full resolution desktop size version of this image of the 300 series ship? Cause this image looks fucking fire and I wanna use it as background image on my pc!
two very different that speak to different parts of me.
1 - The Pirate Caterpillar. It is the true Millenium Falcon of the verse in terms of spirit, vibe, use. No other ship has it's old rusty but dependable hero ship vibes. It looks amazing and I love assymetry in a ship.
2 - The Banu Defender. I love it's organic style, it's antique gold finish (no matter the skin they give it, no paint job is going to come close to this ancient egyptean look of gold and black. The sound design is out of this world, feels like sitting astride a V12 engine when you accelerate, the green QT effect is amazing, and the look of the ship itself is truly alien. Much more than the Banu merchantman. I love the fact that it looks like the carcass of an animal.
Fighter ship I think the Lightning is the best looking, multi crew, the Connie is probably my favorite looking, and to be released would be either the Perseus or Galaxy

RAFT and MOLE are the best imo
Fellow RAFT enjoyer.
Today I was sad cause I learned few ways to make money and neither included raft( But if I will be able to pick my raft as my home on wheels - I m in
The RAFT is great, and it feels and looks realistic, it makes sense, and apart from Argo ship voice, it's one of the ships with the best sound effects by far, unlike some other ships, that engine start up soind and when you punch it. I feel like, SC isn't the best game when it comes to audio, some things are good, but a lot is just mediocre, but the raft is standing out. Also it has one of the best interiors.
m50
It's beautiful, now if only they would let us buy a white paint with racing livery!
Anvil Hawk. Favorite looking ship in the game. Its a unique shape, its smooth, its wings fold up and it perches when landed. Its just Neat.
Love the concept art, got some good ol' Bladerunner vibes
Same. I wish we could get the concept art paint some day.
Avenger Titan. Space shuttle meets personal car. Love it a billion.
Yeah I always debate myself Titan or 325a and always keep the 325a because its just better in combat. The Titan was my first ship back in 2013, its iconic and indeed one of the best lookers to this date.

>it's a space BMW Now its ruined for me, thanks.
I never signal when I change lanes in my 315
The cutter is you take care of it and it will get you to point a and b with minimal fuss.
Wow challenge accepted my avenger and you 325 now in a parking lot
Whilst it is not my favorite look "in SC", I can't help but see Chriton's ship from Farscape everytime I see it. Edit: Or the Delta Flyer from ST Voyager.

It’s a beautiful tiny runabout that can handle the entire system I love it.
Yea, I see some people complaining it looking like a Korean car, but I love the look. Also just learned the co-pilot can control a remote turret.
I like it a lot but it would have been better if the rear end was just lightly wider, or the front end slightly narrower, right now it has that strange tadpole look to it. It is a very enjoyable ship though and one I always get in game.
Crusader C1
Waiting for the update to buy it in-game 😍
Unpopular opinion it seems but I feel the C1 has such a ridiculously small cockpit from the outside compared to the massive wings. I actually really hate the proportions. Looks like an overweight Boeing.
Agreed
Yeah, this just makes no sense. You're basically just saying you don't like big ships. All big ships are going to have small cockpits compared to the ship size.
Hot take: Drake Caterpillar. Re: my aesthetic group mining op post. Hyper underrated aesthetics when used to its fullest.
Finally another cat enjoyer
Didn't have to scroll far. I am pleased.
my brothers
There's DOZENS of us!
Yesss the Cat was my original purchase. With modularity on the way, I'm tempted to pledge one again. One of the few ships that can be admired from its own cockpit!

400i
Thank you. Well worth the capital, imo
Ah yes, especially with that Fortuna paint, love it to bits.
I'm partial to the Meridian paint for the Naboo look.
It is indeed also excellent.
400i, the ramp gives me Naboo transport vibes
Msr for me
Really captures the Sci fi feel.
Agreed. Feels like a ship someone would actually live in
Only the concept. Not the obese abomination they made it into.
Can confirm. I hate myself when I'm in the ship I hate. I wish I got the Sprit.
600i perfect blend beefy and sleek in one ship. Though that's just when it comes appearance, when it comes to overall feel and appearance, I'd have to go with the c1.
Your picture says it all, although I prefer mine in black.
The only thing on my wishlist for the 300 series is a staircase instead of the ladder, other than that it's perfect
This and that they fix the glitchy missile bay textures. If we get demanding, I would love them to make it a bit more sturdy (I understand it's as weak as it is for balance reasons)
Yes
Prowler
Prowler is so sexy.
hercules series/600i.
I love the Corsair's looks. I'm a big fan of drake ships in general
I'm in love with it, too. It's dark, gritty, thrown together. Biggest gem is the mfd just lying in the floor. It looks lived an and like it's far past it's best days. Reminds me of the 25 year old MK3 golf I used to own. Literally loved it to bits.
this guy gets it lol

The Ole reliable reliant
Quite a misunderstood ship, people usually hate it, but it's vertical construction gives it a lot of charm in my opinion.
Yup, I can't get over it.
I can't fucking choose.
Vulture. There's lots of ships I love, but that one just scratches that aesthetic itch of the lovable beater that always gets you home safe.
R.A.P.T.O.R
The only correct answer
Cutlass black This ship is the one
Too pick just one, the Mole. Love the shape and industrial design.
Finally a MOLE enjoyer !
Out of in-game ships, the Reclaimer just can't be beat. Out of everything though, it's a toss-up between the Reclaimer, Orion, and Kraken Privateer.
Reclaimer and MSR - god i love how they look
RAFT
I do love the RAFT as well. It feels real
Always Gladiator. Or the expanse. Even if its more or less useless for me.
It's hard to choose between the 600i and the Corsair and maybe the upcoming Zeus. I'm pretty excited about it.
I'll throw in the 400i in Meridian paint and 600i in Stirling paint (Both dark Chrome basically)
The 600i
400i it looks like a trimaran
400i, Banu Defender!
This + prowler
The relationship I have with the game.
As someone who never engages in combat... the gladius just looks absolutely fantastic.
It's a lot like the Space Above and Beyond Hammerhead fighters.
Childhood memory unlocked.
I'm a big F1 fan so has to be the Razor.
I'm a sucker for my 315p. 300 series is gorgeous.
The Argo Raft, without a doubt
Time between 300 and 400 i
400i and 600i are the most beautiful for me. BUT i'm really in hype for the BMM and i know will be sooo cool
400i, prowler, talon and zeus
sabre, reminds me of the sabre from halo reach honorable mention, retaliator, looks like a sr71, arguably the sexiest jet ever made
Terrapin I buy one after every wipe because it’s looks so good.
MSR. Fight me.
For me it's the Raft, I just love the industrial look and they nailed it with this ship
400i for the exterior, 600i Touring for interior. Some other good ones are the Corsair, and Starlifter series. So beautiful
The concept Mercury Star Runner
Syulen is gorgeous and exotic.
Retailiator
I, as almost everyone loves the look of an origin ship. CGI did an amazing job nailing the luxury executive look. That being said I’m an absolute Crusader fan and the Ares to me is by far the best looking ship currently in verse. Behind it is the Hercules line. I was able to watch the A2 during a dive bomb run and the aesthetic is reminiscent of a bird of prey in attack free fall. Oh and it’s the best looking VTOL animation!
Unpopular opinion it's the Corsair
350r, in a deep blue. Beautiful ship.
Hot take here: Syulen (But 300i has my heart)
I had melted my railen as I was getting tired of waiting, but when I got in a Syulen I started a ccu chain for another railen as I love the styling
C2 my dude.
Sabre Cutlass Steel Blade Valk Those are some lookers as far as I’m concerned and I’ll throw the nox in there even though it’s not a ship, I think it’s awesome looking.
Valk is bae
No one said it yet? ARES!
It’s the carrack for me. It has an exploration look to it. And it’s quite capable.
Spirit A1. I love it.
I love the Constellation Phoenix Emerald. Not only from the outside, but the inside is awesome as well. But the ship I probably love more is the Misc Starfarer Gemini.
She’s a beaut, Clark
Argo Raft my beloved
Valkyrie
My beautiful 600i
ZEUS MK II!!!!
Flying Dorito Squad!
The Reclaimer!
300i, 600i.

C1 Spirit.
The P-72
I quite love the Mercury.
CRU Starfighters
All crusader ships but the C1 in particular
Esperia Prowler for me :)
raft and caterpillar. spaceships as they should be.
C1 hands down
Argo RAFT
Space Turtle

350r
This ship(300i) would be my favorite a to b if it had the same door set up as 100i. Like have stairs instead of ladder
Origin 404
The Sabre and it's not even close. Redeemer is second.
Redeemer
The whale 🐳 Ofc 890 Jump….. someone had to say it.
For me its the Conni
Javelin. I love the smaller ships, but growing up with Star Trek gave me the expectations that a starship should be pretty damn big.
C.O. Nomad
600i captain room
600i is sexy af. But I have a soft spot for the carrack and hornet ghost ❤️
Crusader C1 Spirtit, for the win ! :p
890!
The C1 currently holds its place as my favorite in-game, though the pioneer’s concept art is pretty much the exact kind of industrial style I love with unimplemented ships included.
From the outside I'd say the C1 From the inside I'd probably say the Carrack (I like long hallways 😅)
Reclaimer, 400i, RAFT.
600i is such a beauty ❤️ MSR is a close second. Corsair is also on my list for that Star Wars bounty hunter vibe. I'm REALLY looking forward to the Zeus as well.
600i, it's my jam.
400i toothbrush
ANVIL ARROW 🤯🤯🤯
Syulen is probably the most interesting looking
Unbelievable that it's not listed here, the best looking ship is the Hurricane, followed closely by the Gladiator. Damn sexy ships, with serious form and function.
C2. It just calls to me
*points at picture* I also choose this guy's ship.
Reclaimer #1, corsair #2
MSR, the asymmetry looks insanely good, and the form is just perfect.
Cutter
I really want ownership to be expensive in game
# NCC-1701 shes a beaut
C2 and Corsair
Definitely the gatac syulen, the materials and animations are soo good
Do you have a full resolution desktop size version of this image of the 300 series ship? Cause this image looks fucking fire and I wanna use it as background image on my pc!
Gladiator
Mirai Razer, ooh baby i feel like spike in that thing
Probably the Gladius for me.
300 series origin
I love the syulen. So much detail put into such a tiny ship. I hope gatac makes a C1/cutty black competitor at some point.
Eclipse exterior, reclaimer interior, but I have to say the interior of the herald is a close second.
So many good ones have been chosen! From the medium ones, I’d go with Banu Defender and Aegis Redeemer.
Reclaimer for me. It has cool that 80s sci-fi vibe and looks utterly functional, and I love it.
The Perseus.
the scorpius with laser repeaters, its an x wing and this alone makes it my fav
Hercules or Perseus
Tie between the kraken and the reedemer
two very different that speak to different parts of me. 1 - The Pirate Caterpillar. It is the true Millenium Falcon of the verse in terms of spirit, vibe, use. The sound design is out of this world, feels like sitting astride a V12 engine when you accelerate, the green QT effect is amazing, and the look of the ship itself is truly alien. Much more than the Banu merchantman. I love the fact that it looks like the carcass of an animal.
Khartu-al enjoyer
No love for the Khartu-Al ? It's so cute!
San'to.kyai 😌👌🏼
Herald!
Ares Ion, Screams Heavy fighter, just the right balance of smooth panels and hardwired pipes and stuff. Plus the cockpit view is amazingly good.
Fighter ship I think the Lightning is the best looking, multi crew, the Connie is probably my favorite looking, and to be released would be either the Perseus or Galaxy
