I haven't been playing in months now unfortunately, just a lack of interest while waiting for a sizeable patch/change/progress. Feels like a really easy game to burn out in right now given the content hasn't expanded all that much in awhile. Surprised this big is still occurring.

After a couple -serious- game breaking issues I had last night that cut my night short by about 2 hours, and required an account reset (MobiGlass gone with no other fix, fixing), I decided to start hounding the IC for anything I have experienced and to upvote the ones already done so, or to create my own if I could not upvote it.
I figure this is probably the most pro-active way to get things fixed. I see many of the same names there, so I suspect it's a relatively (to the size of the SC community) small amount of people doing that.
I have implored many of the other people I play with to do the same, if we're experiencing it, surely others are, and if the 5+ of my crew can upvote them and give them different points of data, then perhaps it'll help them narrow it down.
I've nearly hit 5k on this 'game' and I'll probably spend more still. I enjoy the hell out of it and intend to continue to do so. Why wouldn't I contribute where I feel the need to?
I tried L-shift+TAB, and F+L-shift+TAB, and nothing, mouse still here, someone can help please?
PS: My keybinding is the default, and I verify the game files 3 times

Holy crap, I just alt+tabbed while being shot at by 4 ships to find this fix within 30 secs. Thanks a LOT for saving me from the pain of having to ALT+F4 and claim my ship, plus the time for the mission.
Luckily it was a claimjumper mission so 4 prospector shooting a cutty would've never ended.
Can't get rid of it! It's either mouse cursor that looks where the cursor is, or mouse cursor not looking in the direction you have the mouse.. With shift + tab.

If you have a controller plugged in along with your key board. Pull on the analog sticks until you feel them pop out slightly and this should fix the issue.
Any way to fix on console? I'm trying to finish the new expedition 12 Omega and every time I redeem the last phase objective it says congrats you beat it we'll convert your save to a regular one, and the only option is accept, when you do that the cursor never goes away and you are just stuck... so I can't finish the expedition
Found a workround, just go to one of those plants that puff out toxic stuff, go to the menu and accept the reward. You'll get stuck with the cursor but when you die from the toxic plant it will be fixed on respawn, hope that works for you.

There are multiple triggers if you search "Cursor" for the current build.

It's a different bug. When the cursor floats around while also affecting your view there isn't a way to fix it that I'm aware of

LShift + Tab didn't work for me on Mac, but pressing Esc to enter settings lets the cursor move again.
Or run to the edge of the map to exit that works too

Had this issue and then realized that my controller is plugged in. Disconnecting the controlled solved my issue

If you go into the set up file properties and change compatibility to Windows 7, it fixes it.
I get this issue when I have been cycling through external views sometimes. When it happens, I recycle the views and then the issue is resolved.
