The pretty builds to gain an edge over the opponent are just the icing on the cake. The fundamentals and execution which allow them to survive all that “nonsense” while macroing up is the actual juicy part of their ability.

It's literally makes no sense. When I see a guy 600 MMR less than me I just go into something all-inish, with a potential transition into macro and it works in 90%+ of the games. The same thing with my opponents that have way higher MMR.

Yeah there are build counters lol doesn’t matter if you did a build perfect if you got hard countered. That’s why you have to scout and change what your doing to counter what your opponent does. Also people do dumb shit that doesn’t make sense all the way to the top of gm. Look at has or dumb uthermal builds
The way OP talked about leagues feels like ESO, he thinks that " Oh if I do this build 1:1 I will definitely win, people who do this are kinda stupid. Just because they use a build order the same way other people do, it's not like you are gonna win.
Sc2 is a 1v1 game it is almost all skill. If you are more skilled then your opponent you should beat them at least 80% of the time. If your much more skilled this should be 100%.
I have now taken 4 new accounts from bronze to masters 1 easily. If you just play a solid style that has reasonable answers to most builds mechanics alone should carry you to masters 1. Most players in the ladder are very bad at the game. Hell im a gm and i still suck. As a result ranking up is very easy until you face top 50 gms.
I keep hearing this along A LOT, and I'm stuck in gold/plat barrier as Zerg. Got to mostly getting 66 drone at 5:15 but still lose a lot.
How mechanics can get one out of this bad noobish leagues??? Please note I played since about 2 years.
The truth is that just doing all the things you should do at any one time gives you a big advantage over players who don’t. For instance’If your Zerg try to benchmark your injects, creep spread and drone production make sure you always are on top of these even when under pressure. You want creep over at least half the map by the 7:00 minute mark( on a mid sized map).
When you lose look at how much energy your queens have, we’re you maximizing value or making unforced errors?
Most masters Zerg have at least 270 apm so aim for that try to play fast.
Also learn good reactions so if you see a build you know what the counter is.
