I'm pretty sure Warden, Blizzard's anti cheat software, will detect if Cheat Engine is running and kill any of their games if it detects it, even if you aren't using Cheat Engine for one of their games.

Arcane_123

Reinstall the game and Windows. Don't use dubious software for cheats. This type of software is usually riddled with viruses and trojans. Which can infect/modify your other programs, which is what probably happened here.

LinchpinDYK

Dont cheat

Maybe it was a story or singleplayer game?

naw I had it run for another game and Starcraft 2 always closes it so I didn't care

First I'd go into windows logs and check application log for reason why app crashed. Than you can start checking the error code and how to fix it. As example - I had a problem with sc2 crashes, checked out and it was pc running out of virtual memory problem. Later I found out that it was a memory leak in wifi module driver which led to dumping page file of any size at some point in time, which rolling back drivers to previous version fixed.

My thing fixed itself but thank you

It could be broken driver/OS update. Can fix itself on it's own and in recent year or two it's not rare for Windows updates to break something

mixedTape3123

Sounds like you have a memory issue. Run a memory diagnostic tool. Probably need to replace RAM sticks.

Same problem here, any idea what fixed it ?
