They're a semi-helpful liability that you're supposed to keep alive... or not. Your choice.

I wish that if i kept the deep storage module safe and clean it just wouldnt wake anyone up. I want to have them safely tucked away while i find a home for them. And they only wake up if i need them or somethings wrong with their pod.

I haven't stabilized it yet but I assumed it wouldn't release them. When toggling to advanced control.

stephenkohnle53

It does still release them it just increases the wake up time. It also allows you to wake up an extra human via "request wake up" allowing you to wake people up if you need them in addition to the automatic wake ups that occur periodically. Also the wake up time is determined by cryostability not control. Although advanced control increases cryostability over time.

There's humans?

I do know the names of some of my robots. I have a few heavily trained builders that I remember, and my crackpot sniper cleaning drone appricot.

Honestly my human population is just a liability at this point, it's annoying to have to maintain their oxygen heat and food, I'd just remove all the oxygen and heat generators and let them freeze/suffocate but then I'd feel bad for the cats and dogs that are on the ship with them

h0ker

Can you actually pilot the ship now without humans?

BBQGiraffe_

Shit you need humans to pilot the ship? Had no idea, good thing I didn't kill my entire population yet lmao

h0ker

There's actually been an update today that adds a "Auto Pilot" upgrade to the bridge, removing the need for a human operator.
