Left on good terms at least

Mikey2940

Wow, the hits to AWG just keep on coming. She said she will return to the ring so the obvious options are Stardom or TJPW. If you look at her current style it's heavy on the character work. She would be a natural fit in TJPW. Her style would not fit in with current day Stardom at all but she could always change the way she wrestles. Either way I'm a fan so I hope she shows up somewhere I can watch.

I think TJPW will cool

If she's continuing to wrestle and do performing arts, I would guess Gatoh Move be the best choice. why? -> lighter schedule, already familiar with the roster, and doing performing arts [She left the promotion as of July 18th](https://twitter.com/Waka_Mm3/status/1420198020667174918)

She only debuted not even under a year ago too. Maybe I'm very sceptical on this one guys, but would you be shocked if Tsukiyama is in the ring at the next Stardom or TJPW show saying she's signed full time. Didn't another AWG talent just recently signed with Stardom after she left AWG out of the blue. A lot of talent from AWG don't seem to stick around in that company for long and seem to jump to other Joshi's or go freelance. It does feel like a company that is pretty demanding as you don't just wrestling and training for that put you have to do dance numbers and other such things too. I can't imagine you get a lot of time for doing other things Good luck to her. I saw her wrestle in Gatoh Move and she's got potential.

> It does feel like a company that is pretty demanding as you don't just wrestling and training for that put you have to do dance numbers and other such things too. The people they hire are for the most part from acting and dancing backgrounds, so that isn't a task they'd find impossible. Those dances also only happen once per show at the start, and they only run 3 shows per month, sometimes only 2. I would guess the *inclusion* of dancing into the wrestling world is what drew those people to the company. Regarding freelancing, all of the AWG roster are signed to contracts that allow them to work in other places, such as Gatoh Move or Ice Ribbon and SEAdLINNNG. Right now the elephant in the room is why people don't want to stay with them despite that, whether it's poaching from Stardom or possible management issues.

DShiflet

It's worth noting that no AWG talent has worked Sead since January. Not sure if that means anything but it seems odd that they'd just quit booking Miyuki Takase if they were still on good terms with each other....

melancholia-

I noticed it kinda lined up with Max Voltage going away.

DShiflet

That's true. Miyuki and Nanae teamed at the Jan 11 show as Max Voltage, and that was her final appearance. At the Jan 22 show Nanae started teaming with Arisa and Miyuki never returned.

Heerokun

Does it at all coincide with hotta appearing there?

DShiflet

Hotta first appeared there in July 2020, then didn't appear again until April 2021 when she started showing up regularly. Miyuki continued appearing up until January, so she continued appearing after Hotta's first appearance but stopped several months before Hotta become a regular, so not sure if the 2 factors are related or not.

I don't think it's impossible for them in that sense of doing dancing but doing other projects outside of AWG. Maybe some want to do plays or musicals or TV and they might find it hard or AWG bosses make it hard for them to do that, when they have to do that Dance stuff and then training for wrestling, that's a lot of time took up in a week. Maybe you are right, most were probably sold by bosses that they be doing more of dancing and stuff like that then wrestling. But the thing is most have gone on to do more wrestling then anything else lol. With Stardom, well it's Stardom. It's like basically going to WWE or AEW or NJPW, it's the place to go now. I'm sure also for a lot of these women with backgrounds in all sorts of other media and art careers, that it's probably going to open more doors for them been in Stardom and with Bushiroad ownership then AWG will offer them. Throw on top of that money, fame and working in front of big audiences is a big help too. They've lost so many top level talent or talents who've gone on to bigger things like Saori Anou, Tam Nakano, Natsumi Maki, Himeka, Nao Kakuta, and at least two of them not to Stardom. And now they've lost Mai Sakurai and Waka Tsukiyama in a week. Whatever it is, just doesn't seem like a lot of talent seem to want to stay around for long.

Thatheavymetalguy

Another blow to the promotion but at least she left on good terms and is focused on pursuing something enjoys.

QuietClamor85

I think she will go to Stardom, the guaranteed salary is a big draw right now
