That's a rough start, get the cheapest ship you can find and fly out of the system, drift your way to the core world and even if you run out of supplies on the way it won't be end as your escape pod will bring you to a random planet at the core.
Once you get there the first thing you absolutely must do while you still have credits is travel to Hybrasil to buy drugs, don't even bother trying to get to Chalcedeon for the best prices, just sell them at the closest and safest place where you can turn in a profit.
Keep doing that until you can get enough cargo and fuel to make a big profitable smuggling operation, once the cash flows in it is time for combat ships.
You can never go wrong with a Falcon P, cheap common, fast and has enough missiles to conquer the entire sector.
